How to unistall andorid-programs (x10 min Pro)

Hi!
I just got my first Android mobile... yepiiiiii
Only one thing is bugging me:
I know how to uninstall programs that I downloaded or installed from the SD, but how do I unistall games that came with the phone? Those 3 games are: Peggle, CA Gold Rush & Roller Coaster.
I'm new to Andoid, so take it easy
Please help, I'll be very thankful...

If its the same as your big brother x10 just go into settings, applications and select whatever program you wanna take away.
if it that don't work you need root access to take it away, we had that prob with moxier!

I don't know if it's like the bigger x10. But I tried with the program from the setting... It does'nt have any uninstall button.
And yes, I have access to the root with a program that I downloaded from the Android market called Astro file manager.

According to your message, you have removed creatouch from your phone. Can you please tell me the actual app name of creatouch for removing it by root.
Ex. roadsync.apk
I have tried Creatouch.apk and many other ways but could not remove it.
By any chance, do you know the name for CA Gold Rush?

Root access in this case = Superuser access.
The easiest way to do it is to check out this thread, download, install, run the apk on your mini, and it should take care of everything.

Then the easiest way to remove the apps would be to get something like Titanium Backup, and uninstalling the apps through there...

Yup you need to root to get rid of the very annoying bloatware put on by SE and your carrier. Bugged me when during the last update Tmobile put on another useless app. When will they realise that the beauty of android is that we should get to choose what we have on our phones not them. No-one uses their crappy programmes anyway!!

Hi.
I got shut of it yesterday using Root Explorer and Titanium Back-Up. I used TB to uninstall it, I then went to /data/app and removed the apk, then from /data/app-private, and lastly from /system/app, and now have no trace of it.

[Q] Please help- corrupted / deleted 2.1 gallery

My 2.1 3d gallery was playing up (I had some shortcuts etc to it also) and I uninstalled them all thinking I had a backup in titanium- but it appears I did not and now I cannot install any of the gallery.apk or 3dgallery.ap files - it tells me the application will replace an already installed application i click ok and install and it says installation failed.
Can someone help me re-instate the standard 2.1 3d gallery please?
Sorry If I am a bit of a noob- running 2.1 global rom with jit.

**edit after playing around I realised if I deleted com.cooliris (I think that was it) from the sony applications manager I could install the gallery fresh..

Go to android market and search "gallery wrapper"

Can anyone help me also, I've got a different problem with gallery.
When I want to add a picture frame widget onto one of my home screens, if I select the "use by default" for gallery. Then the widget doesn't load after I select an image, I then have to uninstall gallery wrapper and reinstall so I get the list of programs again. What is the reason for this? Anyone else experience this?

Help needed... Rooted arc, removed bloated apps but cannot view contact details now..

Dear all,
i had rooted using gingerbreak and remove recommended bloated apps under another thread. But right now, i am facing a minor issues.
If i go to my contacts, i am not able to able to 'Touch a contact to view its detail'.
Can anyone advise what should i do?

I had the same problem, Infinite view 0.9.3 is needed for that function..

ok, i restore infiniteview using titanium backup but still the services is not running.
what should i do next?

who have the apk for infiniteview and advise me which folder to restore it to?

try to push this in /system/app

thank guys... i move the file to sd card, used application installer and install the apk. everything work well now..

HELP : Gallery does not work

I did some app un-installing with Titanium and got a bit happy with it, now my gallery keeps crashing on start up, does anyone know which apps are essential for gallery to work? e.g. collage or mediauploader. I'm not sure which one it is so if you know, please reply. Thanks.

To get things back to normal,re-flash the ROM without wipe.
djembey has compiled a list of apps he removed from his super slim ROM.
Check HERE
Download the list,and you will see what is safe to freeze/remove

Facing same problem.....
Photo app have linked with edit tool....
If u install it. From play store ...then editing get changed.......
Or if u uninstalled it.....then editing get lost

Install Google plus for activating edit tool.

I found the solution........... Just uninstall all the update regarding google plus app........and it will come to the factory default version....... After that a photos app get installed automatically.....do not uninstall that......and then go to gallary and edit any picture ...first time it needs internet connection to download some extra feature...........
Remember.... Don't install photos app from play store.....because it will change ur editing option.......
