Recently i installed rooting mods on my g2 d802 and enabled fastboot mode
Just today my phone popped up with software updates from LG and i installed and when it rebooted it now starts only in fastboot mode and i am unable to enter any other modes and i've tried following and looking for similar posts about this problem but nothing seems to be working for me.
Any ideas how to reset my phone to stock or to stop it from starting in fastboot? please help! Im one of those phone addicts and it feels like i've just lost a limb.
Regards.

i need help On G2 D802
after recover from fastboot mode started udc ...
And flash on honk Kong version phone stuck on LG logo
And when i put in download mode phone And Connect to PC Show Error Phone
Not Recognized I need solution any one face that problem before please help me
While trying to install custom recovery through autorec my LG G2 sold as D802 and infact an LS980 got bricked and showing white pixelated lines and black screen.
- No recovery mode
-No download mode shown on screen
- No fastboot mode shown on screen
-Phone shows up as unspecified android device on windows 10 and connected through Marshall London Bootloader Interface
-Phone switches off and on while pressing power key, rest not known
-Flashtool doesn't recognize any device.
-command prompt in fastboot tool can erase data on the phone, but can't flash any img files
I've searched and read various forms and articles through internet. no one has found any proper solution though some people claims that hex code editing or flashing a partition and a tot file through fastboot mode may solve the issue and tried a few of them. No positive sign till now, I'm r trying out the fastboot method right now, But I'm not sure whether my phone is switching into fastboot mode or not
Can some one please guide me to get the partition file (laf.img) for LS980. ??????????
And if someone can share some serious input on this problem, it'll be really useful for a lot of users includng me.
Or even suggest some methods for trying out.
whenever i got stuck with this sort of errors i used to find my way out using reading tutorials and forums on xda. But this time i cant find a way out.

Same here, you guys burn your G2?
Looks like I'm a bit late for the party. Well i ended up my lg g2 ls980 (sold as d802) in the same condition. I fixed it by booting into qhsusb_bulk mode by shorting the capacitors and using srktool. Now my phone can boot into download mode!
(Note: this method only works if your phone shows up as qhsusb_bulk and not qdloader or something like that)
Hi all. I have an LG K8 M200N. When I turn it on it gives me the logo and all but then goes to a black screen with small writings on the top left hand corner saying: fastboot mode product name msm8937 32 samsung 16gb and a bunch of other stuff and at the end it says fastboot mode started. I tried to fastboot reboot via adb but it just says device restarted but the phone does nothing. I also tried installing kdz firmware both with lgup (which keeps saying device not connected to the computer) and LG flash tool 2014 (which gets stuck on 60% and does nothing afterwords). Can someone please help me out here? Thanks you.
Try flashing with LG UP
Try flashing with LG UP (Lab ver.).

Thanks for reply,
I have a LG v20 H990DS international Model use in KSA. Every think is working good after I factory reset then it’s started the boot loop, shows Lg boot screen and restart again and again.
I try to enter into Download mode (Vol+then plug in to pc) but say Download mode please wait then continuous looping the lg logo. The only mode that I can get to is fast boot. Even doing a factory reset does not work.
I know only Fastboot mode is last hope for my phone alive.
its only solution re- partition the device and install files through fastboot mode but fist erase laf.img with help of fastboot mode its say device is lock cannot erase.
so how i unlock device ?
i also check LG unlock bootloader page but my device is not in listed......
so what i can do ?
plz help me
