I could have sworn it wasn't and just showed up with the mf9 update after I flashed cf root in PC Odin.
I just updated my n900w8 to KitKat and did a cf auto root then flashed cwm recovery but I didn't get superuser and when I installed superuser and ran a root check app also tried installing titanium back up it says no root also knox is still 0 but it shows custom and custom binary too ?

Hello Friends,
I just updated to 4.4.2 with Odin
then flashed CF Auto root with Odin
The result is: "There is no binary installed and SuperSU can not install it. This is a problem...".
I flashed TWRP already, but I have no idea how to update/install the binary in order to get proper root access
Can somebody help me please?

I solved the problem.
I figured out that I used an older version of CF Auto Root which (I guess) contained an older version of SuperSU. I assume that this version had an outdated binary.
Downloaded CF Auto Root again, flashed it with Odin and everything is fine.
Thanks for your help, guys!
Is there anything special that needs to happen to root an l720 with 4.4.2. I have the Samsung drivers and have tried using odin 1.85 and 3.07. Using Cf Auto Root and version 1.85 everything goes through as it should and shows pass. The appears to be applying root and the phone restarts, but no root . Using version 3.07 each time it stops at get pit for mapping. Is there a work around or something i'm missing?
Download Super SU from playstore. Install and reboot.

That appears to have taken care of it. I also dl root checker and it shows successful. Thanks
Greetings.
So i am using my sgs5 wit android 6.0.1 for a while and i was able to root it with CF autoroot. Yesterday my phone just restarted itself and i just discovered that i lost root. I re downloaded the autoroot for 6.0.1 and odin 3.07 but after the second restart i still have no root. I tried reflashing and watched what the script is writing out. It says that the device is patched but i dont know what it means.
Have someone any idea what is preventing the root?
Thanks in advance for the help .
