There is no root method if your phone is already on lollipop. However, you can flash back to nb1, root with towel root, and then flash the keep-root method to oc3. See the guide Odin to Stock, Updating, Rooting, and Installing Safestrap by guut13 and the guide Update to I337_OC3 - 5.0.1 and KeepRoot by muniz-ri, in the general forum.

Missed android so I traded my iPhone 5 for an S4. It was already updated and on NC1. Need root for an app that I use at work a lot through the day. Can someone either guide me step-by-step or give me the links to do it? Thanks in advance.
Look in the general forum for index, all things mk2, nb1. Treat nc1 just like nb1. You'll have to down grade, install safestrap and then flash a rooted rom.

Alright, as many know, we can root our phones with this method ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2730144). Of course, I used the third post and everything is running fine and dandy. No problems at all. My question is, is there a possible unroot method for this specific occasion? If not at the moment, please post here when found. Thanks. [emoji106]
The safest way is to flash full Odin nb1 stock located on post 2 of the following thread

I originally rooted my i337 s4 using motochopper but then updated to kit kat and of course it wiped my root. Recently I rooted using towel root now I'm rooted again. I would like to flash an official Rom, but not sure the steps I need to go through first.

Alright, so basically, my phone automatically updated to OC4 and I can't root OC4. Is it possible to downgrade OC4 to OC3 by flashing the OC3 update in Odin? Thanks in advance for your help.
Have you tried Desktop version of KingRoot. Worked for me. Look for thread in S4 general section.

On stock lg lollipop firmware Ive tried stumproot, kingroot, and towelroot. None of them work. Is there any other way?
