Already using slimlp 5.1.1.
slimLP is the best rom...simple with gapps zero slim.hehehe

No, apparently they only posted the notification on their website. If it was rolling out, someone would've uploaded and shared by now.

it looks like I might be rooting my motox for this if you guys get a zip posted on here....makes me wonder what I didn't do to not get to be the few who did get it.

Stock? There's nothing but stock atm? Also we can just unroot right? And we could still flash it all while a custom recovery is installed right? And just flash some files through fastboot.
Motorola has pushed Lollipop officially to Moto G in India and Brazil. The rollout is in phases so its possible you might still not have received it.

it does not revert back, where did you hear such a thing? you cant uninstall the update unless you reflash the stock firmware.

No point, this is an incremental update and requires the base 5.0.0 ROM to work
Kudos again to the 'some people' for being selfish towards their own people and not sharing/capturing the 10mb soak test update!
Disclaimer: they dont have any obligation to do so

+1 for not sharing ota but no one shared for Indian users too, till date not a single person proved that they got LP soak in India, n neither any of them shared the ota links...this is the reason have converted to Braz framework n now I got 5.01 ota too..
Edit: I can say Braz framework is way much better then Asian n m having no issues n no mood to revert to Asian.

Direct upgrades r still far cuz m having 2 Moto G 2013 {one rooted n on Braz framework LP 5.01 n another one is untouched + XT1068 UNTOUCHED} nothing official intimation till now, but sooner we all will get it for sure ...cheers

he can make a twrp backup of 5.0.1 soak test so that anyone can flash this. But I knw this is india no one is going to do this. That's why i flashed the Brazil 5.0 twrp backup. it's simple to do & i cn revert back to kitkat anytime.

Soaktest did start today so who knows. I just installed and waiting for the fun Android is upgrading to finish "optimizing" all my apps but installed just fine.
So far, so good!
I wonder when Verizon will see this. Hopefully soon

Backup your data first!
1 .Revert to stock .11 ROM
2.Apply update from within stock recovery after putting the ota zip in your sdcard or apply the update via issuing 'adb sideload xxx.zip'
I've received the update! Downloaded! But did not install it yet & I dont have rooted device so can some one help me with Pulling the OTA?
PS- I never signed for any Moto Program so its not like leaking the update!

I don't know of any non-root methods, though someone else might.
Rooting would involve unlocking the bootloader through fastboot, using Motorola's unlock page.
I wish I could be of more help!

Dhananjay bhai please upload the marshmallow ota. Only u r the last hope left as i am tired waiting for ota on my moto x style... I had rooted my moto x style.. But even after 2 days of restoring to stock and locking the bootloader again, i haven't received any update.. I am going insane cauze of this..
