Ok, I don't have any insider information regarding release dates for any of the US carriers. I tried to squeeze as much info out of the store reps, hounding them to check hard on their computers. They claimed they have limited security clearance on further insider information on release dates.
What are the rumors you guys have been hearing? May 25th, June 1st, or June 25th?

Verizon always gets the hottest releases last.
They elude to June for USA, which is already 30 days past announcement which is poorly executed in my opinion and though I hope for June 1 I suspect late June.
Verizon will be releasing in june 2020 with android jellybean ahaha

The G3 came out the first week of July I believe, with the G2 coming out slightly later. Perhaps we'll see it the end of June.
Which is just really poor planning to have a product announcement 30-60 days out from actual release because by then the Z4, the new Note and maybe a new Moto and maybe even the new Nexus (Huawei) now could be announced and so it just steals possible sales, people have already waited so why not now go ahead and wait for the new announcements by other companies based on rumors, and people forget & lose interest and move on. When companies spend the time and effort to build up and announce, they need to release ASAP. The market & phone offerings are so quickly changing, you should not delay... put the product out ASAP.

Is this foreals? I've been waiting a long time since my contract expired thinking it would take maybe a week or 2 after official g4 release.

I agree. LG has the worst timing. The S6 and M9 stole the sales from people waiting all winter, now people are waiting for Moto and the Note 5.

They did specifically say that they wanted to hit between Samsung's and Apple's releases.
The sooner the better...my LG G3 just suffered a cracked screen and I can only use the bottom half lol. I need a new phone ASAP.

Yeah however there is a group of us so thoroughly disgusted with HTC over the M9 that we've waited to see what the G4 does. I am seriously on board because of the camera but not certain I can wait six more weeks or longer so hopefully the US model comes soon.

i literally check at least once a day just to see if there are any news or rumers about the release date. i just want this phone already. if i find a phone that has similar specs or better than the g4 already out. i might just hop out the g4 boat for that one.

I'd rather put the $60 towards the new phone.
Also, I looked on iFixIt and this looks like a PITA to replace. So, for now, I'm using this app called Mobizen which allows me to control the phone from my PC. So if I'm at work or home, that's how I use it. If I'm out and about, it works enough to be able to answer calls since the pickup or reject phone call buttons are on the bottom half of the screen.

Ha.. I just fixed yesterday, for the second time, an S4 with a cracked screen with a $4.80 screen off ebay that also came with a clear screen protector and the tools. People don't even know how much of a scam it is when you have a busted screen and try to use your insurance. Spend $5, watch a video on YouTube, spend 30 minutes, done.
VS986 and LS991 just passed FCC. The paperwork in the filings do not mention the G4 directly, but the model numbers are sequential to the LG G3 released on Verizon and Sprint, VS985 and LS990 respectively.

I've heard that many screens on EBay are knockoffs and people end up with phones that are pitch black (no display). That's why I'm hesitant.

* Codename is "Supersonic" -- a name we've heard at least once before.
* Feels a lot like you'd expect an Android-powered HD2 to feel thanks to a 4.3-inch non-AMOLED display and a svelte shell. (For reference, the HD2 is 11mm thick, but we don't have exact dimensions here.)
* It's got a kickstand on the back. This wouldn't be a first for HTC; the Imagio on Verizon has one, for example.
* Runs Android 2.1 with HTC's Sense UI.

its the sprint premier customer.
it makes you eligible for upgrades once every 12 months and you get 25% off all accessories.
you have to have an individual line plan for more than 70$ a month or a family plan totaling more than 100$ a month, pay your bills on time and sometimes jsut be with sprint for awhile.

Either you have to be with Sprint for 10 years or get a plan that starts somewhere around $75-$100/year and wait three months.
I don't suppose there is any word on if it will have 802.16m instead of 802.16e.
I look forward to seeing reviews of this phone. Even on 3G, this phone will be a beast compared to the Hero/Moment. I have my upgrade coming in October, but will see how 2.1 performs on my Hero when it is released.

Very true. I hope the Sprint Nexus One rumors are true. I don't know if I'd want a phone larger than that in my pocket. Although, the lure of a 4.3" screen is inticing
I looked at a comp video of SS to iPhone... not that much bigger. When it drops, I'll hit the Sprint store and see if I like the feel of it in my hand. I can always get a holster or something if I don't want it in my pocket all the time. Lol.

Sites have been listing 11th October since the announcement, I don't see the big deal here. Any sites listing for earlier dates were simply wrong weren't they, unless we get any dates past the 11th.

I think you will find that they do not take any money until the phone has been despatched. The price is still not fixed! Thats how Handtec operate so im sure the rest are the same. In anycase, handtec stated first shipment due week commencing 4th October - which does not imply the 4th october.
From what i understand, HTC are shipping but to mobile phone networks first.

I've pre ordered mine form Amazon and they don't take any money until its shipped. If you have fallen for another retailers tricks then that's really your problem. Play.com are also listing the 11th (they also dont take the money until they ship).
As for your garbage about supplying in 14 days - they cant supply if they don't have the product. YES if you ordered a Desire and it didn't arrive then you may have a point has the product is on the market - the HD and the Z are PRE ORDERS!!!! I've use Amazon for years and i trust them - i ain't trusting no company that "Claims" they will have it early

Not me. Unlike you, I can read and through experience of living on the bleeding edge of gadgetry, I realise that release dates are never to be banked on.
Show me a link to an "official" HTC press statement claiming the HTC Desire HD would be released on October 6th. Or the 11th. Please - find me one. NOT a review/blog/ethusiast/seller website "claiming" it will be released on October 6th/11th. Show me the "HTC published link" that claims the phone will be released on October 6th.

Handtec took my money as well when I ordered it a week or two ago, however I'm unsure if that has something to do with it being an international order or not. Same has been said from other Australian customers on a different forum I'm on however.
I don't care...the exchange rates been good for us of later and it means I know what I'm paying rather than wondering or stressing about the exchange rate each day.

I believe the 8th is when the global services for the watch are opened so owning one before then won't get you very far anyway.

This was the Cannon Street store, and I have also had the same reply from the Holborn store. Canterbury say they will do it, but I can't get there for another week or so.
I phoned 3 myself and they were useless, because I upgraded in store, they tell me they are unable to provide any clarification.

This "promotion" is a joke. I mean, at NO point when i was upgrading did they say that I had to pre-order both at the same time.
Did you have to pay any fee for the remainder of your contract?

My contract is only 7 days old! They just said return the phone then.
So I then rang again to the online team and they confirmed and apologized that the other staff haven't got a clue what they are talking about. She told me to go in-store from the with with my receipt to claim my watch

well good luck with that. I tried this also, but he was adamant, even with a receipt and proof of what their website he wasnt doing it.
Ive had this problem went in this morning and refused to accept that this offer exists at all which was rather annoying tbh so i told them to ram it ill buy one online.
They also said that this offer was onky for pre orders and that everyone should of known about it at no point has 3 in my town ever advertised this offer or mentioned it when i got my phone ended up having a huge argument with the store manager telling him is useless and a joke then i showed him my tweets from here that i posted between my self and Brendan and he still refused to acknowledge the offer so i gave up.

I just spoke with "Sharon" at three on the phone. She confirmed that the watch should have been pre-ordered at the time i got the phone.
But, she has applied the £70 difference to my account so i can buy the phone at the full price and be no worse off.
My advice, speak with three, tell them whats happened and they should sort it out.
Good luck, took me a 30 minute phone call to get the resolution i deserved!

This is pretty stupid seen as they were not even offering the watch at the time most people pre-ordered!
I don't know if this I common knowledge or not (sorry if it is), but I just spoke with a Tmo rep (so take this info with a grain of salt), and she stated Samsung gave them a timeframe in which they would start selling the Note 7s again. She stated the memo said they would receive new shipments in 1-3 weeks. Just thought I'd let everyone know since I'm sure, like me, there are members here waiting for the re-release.
Grain of salt?? This entire Samsung episode and the process of returning my N7 has made me very salty. I got grains for days.
I was told by a rep last week that by this Friday they would have them in stock.
listening to reps of any carriers is useless, i called in more then few they all tell me different ****tnanagens. BUT, i did got some answer from Samsung USA help hotline manager and say that they are dealing with the some kind of gov. approval or something. 2-3 weeks. and that was last week already. maybe beginning of the last week of the month i assuming.

I thought us current owners were supposed to get them before they go on sale to everyone else! I'll be pretty mad if they're out of stock because they sold them all while here I am waiting!

You're correct. Samsung has indicated that existing owners get priority replacement before sales of new devices.
As long as you understand that "selling in 1-3 weeks" means to those who have never owned the device. Replacements for those with the device should be MUCH sooner.
Funny, talked to a rep yesterday they said the replacements will come in atleast a month
So Samsung is telling cell phone salesmen when they will return, but not the government or shareholders or media or news or anything huh?
i spoke to t-mo 2 days ago and was told they have not been given a timeframe yet. but i assume since the cpsc got involved it will be longer then we want as they apparently need to approve the devices in the U.S. before we see them and if they wanna hold off on approving them then we will have to wait until they say ok. which i am sure they will catch hell for if it's not a quick approval. but they could find a faulty unit and say no. we will have to wait and see though

I knew it was too good to be true. Some people still seem to think replacements will arrive sometime this week. I highly doubt it. The 1-3 week timeframe is optimistic as it is. For what it's worth, Samsung may have given Tmo the timeframe before the CPSC got involved.
At this point, I'm waiting to see whether the V20 is coming out before the Note 7 is re-released. I'll get whichever is available first.

I'll believe it when they're in the stores. I've been lied to so much by T-Mobile over the past week I won't even believe the sun rises in the east until I see it with my own two eyes.
I'm going to be pushing that promotion for all it's worth. When my loaner S7 Edge comes, I'm reaching for the VR. When the replacement Note 7 is in, it'll be another SD card. It's too bad I can't jam that up T-Mobile's ass.

I suspect so if the color you want is in stock. Blue wasn't available on the first day, and the news of toaster Note 7s started to hit the next week.
You'll be getting a new EIP if what the senior customer service rep told me is accurate. Take that with a boulder of salt.

Don't know hopefully T-Mobile ships early like the G6. Had mine for a couple days now and release date is the 7th.

T-mobile rep here (speaking unofficially). The s8 and s8+ both require a down payment. The 30 for the s8 and the 130 for the s8+ is required to ensure the monthly payments dont exceed 30 per mo. From what we have access to in tech there is not a way to waive the deposit needed unfortunately. I am fairly sure this applies with all departments as well.
If you want $0 down , try Costco .
Costco will take tax only on EIP T Mobile phone , doesnt matter required down base on device or credit type .
My credit just begining and not so good , T Mobile store required 50% on all device from iOS to Android . I went to Costco , all my 4 lines and 4 device on my account just paid tax only .

I called and asked to see what info I could get and was told that T-mobile will unlock the phone after it's paid in full and also must be on T-mobile service for 40 days.... Then I asked if it will be SIM or Bootloader unlocked ( I knew the Rep would be lost there and I was right) and got no real answer....
I wasn't expecting any miracles by asking a rep but wanted to give it a go anyway.... Hopefully people here can add more info as we go along...
Also thanks for starting this thread Charlie, I was here with ya when we were riding out the Note 7 last year...That was fun.... I expect these next few weeks to be more of the same...LOL!!!

Yeah I'm on the phone with them now. I have the G6 but will pre order tonight. None of the reps seem to understand that I have the phone now.
Was just told I can jump to the S8 just have to trade my G6 in within 30 days.

This $130 down is complete BS.
It totally destroys the idea of jumping from phone to phone.. who wants to pay $100+ each time they get a new phone + $30 a month.
