[Q] LG G2 Lollipop Update stuck - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

First of all, the phone is completely stock, not rooted.
I've tried updating it to Lollipop via the PC Suite, the PC Suite did a backup, downloaded the new software and started upgrading it but it got stuck at 0%. So, I disconnected the phone, rebooted it and startet the PC Suite again, but this time the upgrade got stuck at 8% with an ASSERT error shown on the phone's screen. Then I disconnected the phone again, rebooted it, and started the PC suite, but this time the upgrade got stuck at 13%. Each time I try upgrading it, it gets stuck at a slightly higher percentage with an ASSERT error.
After the ASSERT error shows up a few times, the PC Suite says I have to run the "Restore upgrade errors". Each time I run the "Restore upgrade errors", the PC Suite downloads the new software again. As you can see, this is a real pain in the ass to do.
The phone is currently useless, when I reboot it, it just shows the screen on the image I attached.
I just wanna know, is there any chance I can get my backed up data and restore it on the phone and is there any chance I can restore the Kitkat back on the phone.

[Q] [Help]I think my phone is empty without a system currently

So I tried Flashing FB v019 and it gave me a symlink error. After numerous attempts and a wrong click, I ended up with a bootloop. I reflashed from SEUS and during the update my computer lost power, it's an unplugged laptop. So now when I turn on the phone I get a triangle warning sign with a phone lying beside it. SEUS will not flash it and all SE Customer Service told me after 1 hour with them was to wait, even though SEUS is stuck on the screen that detects the system.
I'm thinking that somehow in the process of all this the old system got deleted and the new system didn't get in. So now I essentially have an empty phone with no system. The USB flash works though because my computer and PC Companion can detect it, but I think that's about it.
Does anyone have suggestions? Is there something that could do a forced installation of a system?
If there's nothing maybe I'll have to go to a service center.
Flash the original firmware via flashtool.
Download it here,

Download also the first ROM image and follow the instructions on how to install it.
Then try again with FroyoBread.

[Q] Bricked phone after failed RTM Mango Update

Hi guys
Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction before I send my Samsung Omina 7 in for repair. First a brief history
Updated previously from NoDo to the first mango beta without issue, then again to the refresh beta without a problem. Decided today that I would for RTM.
During update process updatewp kept timing out - I've since read resetting the device before attempting or deleting some of the zip files in the RTM package fixes this.
Instead of searching forums I unplugged the device and reset it when it wouldn't reboot. This left me with a completely unstable OS. It took ages to boot up and most apps wouldn't load.
I tried to restore my NoDo backup from the Zune beta but it didn't work. I uninstalled Zune Beta and drivers and attempted the restore using the current Zune version and again the restore would not work.
Figured I would just reflash the rom instead so I followed the guide below.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=973420&highlight=how+to+rom
This also failed - I can get into download mode, and WP7 Downloader looks like it's proceeding correctly but it is my understanding that after the first reboot it should go into the "connect to computer" style mode with the picture of the phone and a computer connected with USB. My phone does not do this - instead it boots to the Samsung Omina screen and just sits there. It seems to quickly reboot every 10 mins or so.
I've attempted the flash a second time and got the same result. Any ideas?
just goto download mode and flash it with another firmware..
If you can't get into download mode, just go to your closest DIY shop, grab 3 100k resistors and make yourself a JIG.
Full instructions here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1092824&highlight=JIG
You should be able to reboot in download mode, and then restore to whatever ROM you want
Just tried that - used a different one but got the same result.
When WP7 Downloader gets to "Plz wait while rebuilding" the phone has rebooted to the samsung omnia 7 screen and not the computer connection screen.
Weird.
If you got to download mode after using the JIG, flash should be flawless.
I'm clueless here, apart from trying again with a different firmware/JIG.
Just and FYI. I couldn't fix it myself so I send it in for repair. They needed to replace the motherboard.

[Q] Stock Firmware Restore Fails

Hello, i have an stock, free LG LG D802 here what i used for few months now.
For some reason i downloaded the LGMobile Support Tool today and hit the "options" -> "Upgrade Rwecovery" button.
The tool run to about 50% and then stopped, saying that it cannot find the Device anymore.
The D802 is since then showing the "Firmware Update"- Screen and rebooting doesn't change anything on that.
If i plug it to the PC and run the software again, it says i cannot proceed the flashing cuz of low battery level. The battery should be full though. i had the phone on a 3A charger for over an hour now and its still saying so.
What can i do??

[Q] Update to lollipop isn't going through

Hi,
I have an unrooted phone LG G2 D802 which was purchased through EE and have never been rooted.
I have downloaded the new update firmware through PC suite and tried to perform an update.
Upon connecting with LG Suite and starting the update, it showed up as "rooted" and failed to perform update stopping at 9/10/11 % respectively with a red word "assert". My phone has turned off and now when turning it on, it shows "firmware update" and although its plugged in, LG Suite doesn't see it.
What do I do? I have never rooted my phone.. kinda confused
