Hi,
I have an unrooted phone LG G2 D802 which was purchased through EE and have never been rooted.
I have downloaded the new update firmware through PC suite and tried to perform an update.
Upon connecting with LG Suite and starting the update, it showed up as "rooted" and failed to perform update stopping at 9/10/11 % respectively with a red word "assert". My phone has turned off and now when turning it on, it shows "firmware update" and although its plugged in, LG Suite doesn't see it.
What do I do? I have never rooted my phone.. kinda confused

Hi I have forced my LG e900 to windows 7.8 but Camera was not working properly. So I decided to restore the old firmware via zune as it was giving me options to restore the previous firmware in phone update. Restore process started alright but when it gets to 5% it stays there for long time and then it gives an error your phone will not be restored. Now My phone is only shows computer connect screen. Is there any way to flash my phone is it completely bricked?
All sorted. Brought it back to life.
solution
put the phone in EmergencyDownload and reinstall the software!!!
Hello, i have an stock, free LG LG D802 here what i used for few months now.
For some reason i downloaded the LGMobile Support Tool today and hit the "options" -> "Upgrade Rwecovery" button.
The tool run to about 50% and then stopped, saying that it cannot find the Device anymore.
The D802 is since then showing the "Firmware Update"- Screen and rebooting doesn't change anything on that.
If i plug it to the PC and run the software again, it says i cannot proceed the flashing cuz of low battery level. The battery should be full though. i had the phone on a 3A charger for over an hour now and its still saying so.
What can i do??
hello xda, i have a vzw vs980, that is rooted using towelroot, and has twrp achieved through autorec. I am currently on stock 24a 4.4.2 kitkat, but want to flash back to bone stock. i have all the files i need. I have installed the vzw g2 drivers 2.11.1, but when i put it in download mode and connect it to my computer it begins to install on my pc like it should. on my phone i see the download mode screen with the word "rooted" in red in the lower box. i also see B57 in grey. my status bar on my pc just randomly dissapears, and my phone stays at 0% the whole time. i was able to boot back up into my phone, and all is well. i went to lg support, and saw that there was new drivers for my phone, 2.16.1. i havent tried again with these, but my question was that if you knew what my problem was, or if the outdated drivers were the problem.
Hi everybody!
I have Lg g2 D802 Baltics. Yesterday I tried to return to Stock KitKat via Lg mobile support tool and Flashtool, both of them didn't work, they just didn't find my phone in download mode. Then I decided to reroot and reinstall TWRP. The first was done and the second too, but unfortunately my phone restarted and got a Security error and LG logo and can't boot, just permanently restarts. I've already read a hundreds of articles like http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 . The method written here isn't working for me because the Flashtool just can't find my phone when trying to install a firmware. So, any program like Lg support tool and Flashtool don't find my phone, so I can't do anything with my phone to get it to work. I'm facing i real problem for me and i'm quite shocked. So, please, tell me what to do, how to fix my phone. I tried a lot of thins, nothing helped. What to do?
First of all, the phone is completely stock, not rooted.
I've tried updating it to Lollipop via the PC Suite, the PC Suite did a backup, downloaded the new software and started upgrading it but it got stuck at 0%. So, I disconnected the phone, rebooted it and startet the PC Suite again, but this time the upgrade got stuck at 8% with an ASSERT error shown on the phone's screen. Then I disconnected the phone again, rebooted it, and started the PC suite, but this time the upgrade got stuck at 13%. Each time I try upgrading it, it gets stuck at a slightly higher percentage with an ASSERT error.
After the ASSERT error shows up a few times, the PC Suite says I have to run the "Restore upgrade errors". Each time I run the "Restore upgrade errors", the PC Suite downloads the new software again. As you can see, this is a real pain in the ass to do.
The phone is currently useless, when I reboot it, it just shows the screen on the image I attached.
I just wanna know, is there any chance I can get my backed up data and restore it on the phone and is there any chance I can restore the Kitkat back on the phone.
