Hello people my phone getting old i think 1.5 year so far my phone started to freeze having lags getting too hot while browsing. And bootloops started without flashing anything. First bootloop happened 2 weeks ago. Today happened again twice i wiped dalvik cache and everything is fine how can i fix it? I thought rom cause it i flashed stock firmware rooted it and removed bloatware. Still happens lags, freeze, getting too hot and bootloop. Is it lollipop update? I never had this issues with kitkat. How can fix this and keep my alive?

Try a full factory reset. Be careful as this will wipe your internal storage.

Thank you for your answer but I did it after flash stock rom via odin. Wiped data / factory reset , cache partition , mounted cache , system , data , wiped dalvik cache..
Wiping data does not equal a factory reset. Wiping data does just that, wipes user installed apps. But generally leaves the internal storage alone.
A factory reset returns the phone to the settings it came out of the factory with, including a clean internal storage(If you have the stock rom). I heard that changing roms and just wiping data, dalvik and cache will still leave behind some files.
But it could also be untrue.

Flashing stock rom is same with factory reset i think clears everything.
I don't know. Haven't flashed stock on this device yet.
But don't most guys recommend doing a wipe before going back to stock?
I dont know i'll try that when i have free time. I did research some guys saying lollipop causing these problems. I'll try wipe before flash stock rom again , if issues keep happen i'll use lates 4.4.2 custom rom. Thank you for your answers i'll report back.
Real reset
This method will wipe everything, including operating system and efs files. Before you do this:
you must root
Download twrp recovery
Install the recovery using the app from the play store
Boot into recovery mode and have twrp backup everything
save your backup to an SD card and the computer (can't hurt to have two backups)
Doing the above will preserve your phone important data like your imei and efs
in case something goes wrong.
NOW
after you have backed everything up use twrp recovery to wipe data. Have twrp wipe everything except for your SD card (don't won't to lose the backup)
After everything has been obliterated have twrp boot you into download mode.
Download Odin from XDA preferably 3.09 (most stable release) and then grab an official stock firmware from a trusted source. The latest stock firmware should be at least 4.4.2
If you have carriers other than t-mobile you will also need to find a PIT file for partitioning.
When you have all of this open up Odin with your phone connected in download mode and make sure repartitioning, clear efs and nand-erase is checked along with the defaults.
Select pda button and choose your firmware (unzipped tar.md5 format.) Then select repartitioning PIT file button and direct to where you have the PIT file downloaded.
now click start (be sure that the Com port is recognized by Odin: will be highlighted in blue or yellow.)
This will take a while depending on your computer.
when it finishes your phone should reboot with a fresh os and filesystem. If you get stuck in a bootloop reboot into recovery mode and do a wipe data and wipe cache. Reboot and your phone should be good as new.
IMPORTANT!!! It is vital you keep your TWRP backups for as long as you have your phone if you lose them and something goes wrong while flashing your phone you will lose important things such as IMEI baseband which will prevent you from connecting to your network and Sim card recognition.
Thank you so much i'll try this now.

Is that another custom recovery?
If so then yes just make sure you have all of your system files and most importantly your efs backed up.
Run odin as administrator if that doesnt work, try using another version of Odin.

Doesnt work another versions both twrp and odin. I'll keep my custom recovery and try it.

What carrier are you using, model number of the phone, etc.
Have you backed everything up? And can you flash the custom recovery through Odin if it fails?
Try it without wiping efs first just to be safe
Look here for your device you will be able to find standalone flash able versions of twrp that should work through odin.

Using i9500. And i did what you said and works fine thank you! Mods close thread please.
Hello, please help
I have Samsung Note 3 with custom Omega ROM.
Today I had constant errors "Process com.android.systemui has stopped". The phone was not usable.
I tried to clear cache, no success. Then I wiped /data and /system, which resulted in the phone not booting anymore. A mistake, I know.
I would like to fix the situation or, if I have to install the new system anyway, just to download all the user files (photos etc.) from Internal memory of the phone to my PC via the USB cable. But the phone is not booting anymore.
How to do that?
Flash stock rom via Odin see stickies .
You may lose some files .
just flash official firmware by odin, don't worry you will not lose your data (music, photos, ...). now after finishing and optimizing apps the phone will restart. if you see black screen then flash twrp and select wipe then swipe the arrow. don't chose advanced wipe. now reboot
after all that if you still want omega rom, no problem just download the latest version and before flashing in twrp do advanced wipe and check all options except internal storage & sd card
i tried all that on my n9005.
I have an s4 i337 which was rooted & setup with lollipop 5.0.1 & GE rom. I had a problem with not being able to download files, I (maybe correctly) determined I had lost read/ write permissions for my internal (emulated) sd card and attempted to fix this (definitely unsuccessfully) a few different ways, the last of which was running fix permissions in TWRP (which booted to my GE, nothing fixed and all apps missing) and then I did a data wipe/ factory reset (which now boots to either stock or rooted lollipop with no access to my settings, no acess to google play, no internet - so worthless).
safestrap is installed but not enabled. I've tried flashing the NC1 flasher zip from the stock recovery to get into TWRP to restore from a backup or do a clean install of GE but that didn't work.
I'm not sure if I have root or not still and, since I can't access my settings when booted, have no way to check install from unknown sources.
when in factory recovery it says I'm on OC3.
what do I do next to get somewhere with a restore operation?
So the little idiot of me tried changing the build.prop file which is only editable with root. My device is ofcourse, rooted. So after editing only the model number and restarting the phone, it's stuck on device name logo. Anyone know how to revert this? How can I fix this if I can't even boot into the phone.
Just flash the stock ROM via Odin.
Stock ROM at SamMobile and Odin at this post
I just did that. At first I was afraid of losing all my data on sdcard, but after reflashing the stock rom all my data was intact, including my apps. Thanks for the help!
Your data was intact because you didn't make wipe
Hello
I have a Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 SM-T230 that is not booting correctly.
I got it in a non working condition, kept rebooting when turned on.
I reflashed the stock ROM using Odin after installing TWRP but this would results in the tablet getting to the choose your language screen then restarting itself.
I tried the below versions of the stock ROM but they all have the same result:
T230XXU0ANG3_T230SER0ANG2_T230XXU0ANG3_HOME.tar.md 5
T230XXU0ANJ4_T230BTU0ANJ2_T230XXU0ANJ4_HOME.tar.md 5
T230XXU0ANK3_T230BSE0ANK1_T230XXU0ANK3_HOME.tar.md 5
StockRoms-Series_T230(NU)+V1.6.3
The custom ROMs I have tried get stuck on their startup/boot screen.
I have also tried:
Wiping all david, cache, data, system, internal.
Re partitioning using DEGASWIFI_HIDDEN_100M.pit
Using Odin 3.9 and 3.12 with the md5 file in the AP section
TWRP openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.1-degas and TRWP_2.8.7.0_EUR_VERSION
The custom ROMs cm-v13-degaswifi-kids-unofficial-20170713, ACHERON_ROM_V2.3.5_SM_T230_NU and [KK] [SM-T231/T230/NU] + Android 5.0 Lollipop Material Design
Combinations of reflashing, factory reseting, cache wiping.
Kies recovery but it will not maintain a connection, keeps disconnecting the tablet
Fixing partitions in TWRP
The only thing left to do as far as I am aware is to NAND Erase all but I am not sure if recovering after doing that is feasible.
Update: Tried Nand erasing, then re partitioning and reflashing of stock firmware, no change.
Tried EFS clear and Phone bootloader update.
Now the partitions appear to be broken and re partitioning with the pit file and reflashing does not fix it, cannot mount data or system.
Any suggestions to resolve this issue?
Thank you
