Guys,
I purchased the Z3C, but no volte software is avalilable. Its a pain not having LTE data when in a call.
has or can anyone port over the VOLTE from Z3 to Z3C for t-Mobile.
thanks
That would be nice

The hardware isn't too different consider ram and the display being the biggest difference
It looks like the T-Mobile Z3 was rooted, so it might help in making this.
I'd also really love to get VoLTE working.
I would also be interested in getting LTE and wifi calling from the T-mobile Z3. I'd actually be willing to flash the T-mobile D6633 firmware on my D5803 if it is possible, but I don't think it is.
D5833 hk has volte, you can try a crossflash

hi guys..
Whats the better device to buy
T-mobie/Note3/N900T ? AT&T/Note3/N900A ? Amazon-Unlocked/N9005
I will be primarily using the phone on t-mobile, but would like to use it in other countries like
India as well with local sim card/s
I can afford to buy the device... and am not on any plan at the moment,
also don't intend to marry a cell phone carrier...

I understand Samsung Devices are not generally Bootloader Locked... I am not sure of the carrier branded devices though (never used one) If the Nexus-5 ain't any good, I am going for the Note... The only thing I wish is that they eliminate the home button, I hate it... I just want a bezel less piece of glass..
This one goes specially to german t-mob users. Is the device the t-mobile version or the D802 version?
T-Mobile US is a different beast than European phones usually. Probably not.

Thank U for replying...but this does'n answer my question.
T-Mobile US LTE bands and some of its legacy 3g AWS bands are incompatible with EU bands. Including German and other T-Mobile.

I can't give a definitive answer because some phones offer both T-Mobile US and European bands. Though since that's rare with LTE, that's probably not the case here.

Again....thank U for replying. BUT I was asking if german version from t-mod is branded or it is unbranded D802.
Ah... that I don't know. Usually "T-Mobile LG G2" refers to the US carrier....

Hi, I may be getting an S6 Edge Plus from UAE and I'm not sure if it is region locked or not. My friend can get it for me. Is there any region lock on the s6 edge plus (from UAE or not)? I'm going to use it in the UK.
BUMP - does anyone have any additional information about this? thanks
tell your friend to buy it from UAE. USE the phone with UAE Sim card for 5mts and then send it to you in UK. this instruction is written in the quick start Guide.

Its already on its way to the UK now He said there wasn't any region lock sticker on it anyways.
I was only trying to help you, it doesn't say region lock on the box. but the procedure I stated is written in quick start Guide. I hope it works with UK Sim.

Didnt ONEPLUS make a statement a while back that they were going to ADD WIFI CALLING for T-Mobile in a future OTA update??? I am still waiting on this for the oneplus ONE and TWO.
If they are not going to honor their word then I will just purchase from ANOTHER manufacturer from here on out.

1. Wifi calling is proprietary to T-mo services and OnePlus will need to get T-mo to release the info to make it work.
2. The above will never happen.
3. OnePlus lies.
So, you are better off buying a T-mo branded phone if you want wifi calling
T Mobile develops and maintains the code for WiFi calling. Ask them.
*spoiler alert: it ain't happenin'...
Ok. Moving on now...
When did they say that?

Well, hell has frozen over.
How did they do this without changing the baseband I wonder?
Looks like they hacked it in, I wonder if it will work well? Without band 12 this is a big deal for me and many others and this will affect a lot of phones.

If I had to guess, I will guess that your phone will still need a t mobile baseband.

WiFi calling is not big of a deal, all it is, is a little more clarity or if u r home has poor coverage, u do still have to pay and have a provider, its not free calling if that is what u r thinking,
I bought LG G6 from tmobile and got it unlocked. realized that VoLTE & VoWiFi will not work and also having issues getting SMS. wondering if we can load ATT build/firmware onto H872 (TMO variant)
Probably not a good idea since we don't have root and the hardware is different.

I believe the modem/radio is slightly different as the Tmobile version does not support all "bands" of the ATT network. Past that a more experienced member will have to give you better details.

my understanding is that once phone is unlocked, all the bands should be opened as well as the HW itself supports all NA carrier bands.
Have you set the correct apn?
