Didnt ONEPLUS make a statement a while back that they were going to ADD WIFI CALLING for T-Mobile in a future OTA update??? I am still waiting on this for the oneplus ONE and TWO.
If they are not going to honor their word then I will just purchase from ANOTHER manufacturer from here on out.

1. Wifi calling is proprietary to T-mo services and OnePlus will need to get T-mo to release the info to make it work.
2. The above will never happen.
3. OnePlus lies.
So, you are better off buying a T-mo branded phone if you want wifi calling
T Mobile develops and maintains the code for WiFi calling. Ask them.
*spoiler alert: it ain't happenin'...
Ok. Moving on now...
When did they say that?

Well, hell has frozen over.
How did they do this without changing the baseband I wonder?
Looks like they hacked it in, I wonder if it will work well? Without band 12 this is a big deal for me and many others and this will affect a lot of phones.

WiFi calling is not big of a deal, all it is, is a little more clarity or if u r home has poor coverage, u do still have to pay and have a provider, its not free calling if that is what u r thinking,

I want to find out who did this, among the things stolen was a rooted Nexus 7 with Lookout. Any suggestions of how to find my stuff would be greatly appreciated.
I'm guessing you didn't have an antitheft app? You could try lookout plan b; installing it remotely. But that's assuming the thief hasn't tampered with the device.

Yeah...hate to say...but any thief with half a brain that steals a phone or tab would shut it off immediately, knowing they have GPS and might be a chance they're tracked.
Guess not all thieves are smart tho.
..actually, probably most are running around a few short of a dozen!

Lookout has tracking features but it might be a premium feature. I really don't know.

I heard of a story of a thief in Salt Lake that stole someone's iPad. Suddenly, pictures started showing up in the original owner's iCloud because the perp had been taking pictures of himself with the iPad. A local police officer recognized the perp and they arrested him. In other words, not all criminals are smart. Do you have anything setup to automatically upload pictures taken with the tablet to any cloud service?
You can still install plan b to it. Of your account is still linked to it.

Actually it's not a premium feature, and I think it works with GPS off too (I think WiFi does the trick here). Login to your account in your PC browser (hope they haven't taken that too!) and try to locate it. Hopefully the thief (or thieves) is (or are) dumber than we are thinking he (or she or they) is (or are).
Best of luck.

I've been trying to track through lookout but.it hasn't.been turned on.

Credit report and legal action. Refusing to return devices not fully paid is considered theft if said company request return.
Bottom line: Your friend is stupid.
So if I read that right, he has 4 phones that he isn't going to return? His credit is going to be the least of his worries.

His credit is going to get wrecked, they're going to take legal action (Let's be honest, its going to be clear who's going to win and he'll be in even more ****), and on top of all that he's going to have a debt collector breathing down his neck.
Hope he doesn't plan on getting a house, car, bank account, or loan anytime soon.

What does this mean in terms of usability? What actual features are removed? Can we still tailor the battery saving stuff?
I tried every work around I know of. It seems it's not just hidden, but in fact missing. Hope we can recover it from a different model...
