I have TWRP installed and CWM as well but I can only reboot in TWRP even if I flash CWM it will still reboot in TWRP
I tried rebooting in recovery by the volume up+power key but the LG logo just flashes really quick then it reboots normal.
When I try to flash the CWM image using Flashify, it just goes to the black screen and says "fastboot mode started" then I just end up rebooting.
I want to use CWM so I can install Cynogenmod 11 because it doesn't seem to work on TWRP. When I try to install the zip it just says "Error executing binary zip..."
Here's some info about my phone just in case it helps
Android 4.2.2
Kernel: 3.4.0

If you just want to install CM 11, you can do that with the latest version of TWRP (2.6.3.5), which can be found in the CMB Rom thread for T-Mobile Development: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2568732 . You should be able to flash that by putting the zip onto your phone and installing it with your current TWRP.

I can't flash it. It goes into CWM recovery mode and says that fastboot mode started still
Erm so now you have cwm!?
Your better off with the latest twrp anyway. Just fine the latest version for your phone. 2.6.3.2 is no good.
You can have only 1 recovery at a time.

Solved!
I figured it out! I was flashing the zip file of the 2.6.3.2 and that's why it didn't work. I flashed the open recovery image file instead using flashify and I was able to get into TWRP recovery mode from there I installed the latest version of TWRP. At first it failed but that was because I had checked the zip verification box and "use rt formatting" or whatever in the advanced settings. Unchecked them and installed successfully :victory: finally I installed CM 11 and it's great
Thanks for the help flutterguy317!
I've got a 2013 tablet that I upgraded twrp to latest version 2.8.2 from 2.7.0 using Twrp manager app. It upgraded all right but now it can't see my sdcard from within recovery and I can't even factory reset. It says it will reset not when I reboot it just boots like normal. Obviously my sdcard is still there when I reboot into my system. But from within twrp recovery program it can't see it. Anyone have any suggestions on why that could be?
Thanks for any advice anyone might have ... I'm stumped.
Same problem for me. The sdcard is not mounts. Also I cant wipe cause TWRP can't wipe some partitions, like 'cache'. Think it's just a bug and we need to downgrade. Maybe the fix it in further updates.
Yeah I read that this is a probable bug in twrp 2.8.2 and to flash latest 2.8.2.2 instead. Problem is where can I place an image file that twrp is able to see? I can't even seem to MTP mount.
Actually I got it upgraded just using the twrp store app to install 2.8.2.2. The image Wagner available on the spot yet but there's another thread here where someone posted the zips for 2.8.2.2 so twrp app would recognize it for install.

HELP
Nvm fixed
Hi. Two weeks ago I accidentally dropped my Nexus 4. My screen broke and touch sensor stopped working. Before I sent it to repair I managed to remove all my data via ADB in Recovery. I just locked bootloader and unlocked it again. Today, it came back repaired but it keeps bootlooping to Recovery. At first TWRP showed me: Internal Storage (0 MB). Logs showed me it was unable to mount data. I could not push any file via ADB to the storage in order to install any ROM. I searched the internet and found a solution that I have to update TWRP to the latest version and then wipe my phone. It worked. I was able to copy latest CM 13 and GAPPS on internal storage. Installing CM13 is done without any problem, but when I reboot my phone it keeps opening TWRP. I don't know what to do now. Is my phone bricked or something? I noticed in TWRP's MOUNT section that system partition is not checked. Before dropping my phone I was using Chroma ROM.
Some information from the bootloader:
PRODUCT_NAME - mako
VARIANT - mako 16GB
HW VERSION - rev_11
BOOTLOADER VERSION - MAKOZ30f
BASEBAND VERSION - M9615A-CEFWMAZM-2.0.1701.05
CARRIER INFO - None
SIGNING - production
SECURE BOOT - enabled
LOCK STATE - unlocked
Recovery: TWRP 3.0.2-0
Please, help.
I've got a similar problem, was using 5.1.1 downloaded vocoders 6.0.1 aosp and gapps and flashed and i'm looping myself now too, no errors flashing, and other images do the same? Any help?
I solved that doing the following:
- Unlock bootloader.
- Reinstall factory image.
- Reinstall custom recovery
- Boot to recovery
- Factory reset (via recovery)
- ***Format /Data*** (via recovery)
- push ROM and gapps to the /sdcard/ - I used cm13 nightlies and opengapps NANO (IT MUST BE NANO).
- Install CM, then opengapps.
Reboot and enjoy.

Hi, I have a problem with OP5, I decided to install OOS 8.0 (Beta), I had OOS on 7.1.1 (Root) (TWRP), I made full wipe in TWRP and installed OOS 4.5.14 (7.1.1), after that i get Stock Recovery and Iupgraded OOS to 8.0 (According to the OnePlus manual) -> Bootloop. I decided to go back to 7.1.1 -> Error, I uploaded TWRP and another attempt to download 7.1.1 -> The system got up but I can not do anything because I have an error "Udecrypting the device. (Write to do "Factory reset"), so again to TWRP -> Full Wipe and here is interesting, I get my error "Wrong argument", the phone does not see my built in memory (I write that I have 0mb), what can I do in this situation? Anyone know?
ERROR in TWRP: "Unable to mount storage"
Please help me.
Go to recovery -wipe-advanced wipe-data-repair or change file system- change file system. First select EXT2 and after that EXT4 and now you should be able to use your storage but you need to flash new TWRP (try this one https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=27442)

Thank you for that link. I was having another issue - the TWRP downloaded from the official site didn't work on the latest Oreo beta build and didn't overwrite the stock recovery and couldn't mount /data. This one did.
yeah im having major issues with mine, im now stuck in a download mode i cant get out of !
The first question is, you want to go Oreo or return nougat? In the first case, go to the dedicated thread, download the black TWRP and format data (if you can't read anything) reboot to TWRP again now copy the Oreo firmware and install it from the same recovery, reboot to recovery again if you don't have the stock one automatically installed, just flash it via TWRP. So once you're in stock recovery format EVERYTHING, reboot to system, and after you've configured the initial setup of your device if you want reboot to bootloader and reinstall the black TWRP and flash magisk 14.56 for root.. I've done this for getting this Oreo rom works
Exactly happened with me too. I even accidentally deleted all the contents of my storage. Tried to sideload via adb but got unknown device error. This thread worked for me

ive just restored the latest nougat firmware/radios and jumped back onto an aosp build until op5 gets official Oreo build
