Im using android studio and my debugging session stops whenever the watch times out and goes into ambient mode. Any else had this issue? Anyone been able to fix it?

I have an S5 which I use Tasker to recognize the phone being flipped face down to turn off the ringer, etc. I know there are other apps to do this, but since I use Tasker for other stuff I was hoping to continue. But, when the phone goes to sleep, it appears that Tasker can not recognize the phone being flipped. If I press the power button and flip, everything works fine, but not when the phone is asleep. Is there a setting I am missing to properly handle this? Any help is appreciated. BTW, the phone is rooted via Towelroot but running stock OS.
I'm trying to make a Tasker profile for going to bed, activated via a NFC chip on my nightstand. Does anyone know how to activate the new Night Mode via Tasker? I tried the "Night Mode" under display, which didn't do anything. I'm wondering if I can activate it with an intent or root shell command. Not familiar enough with either to figure out if it's even possible myself.
I have rooted HTC 10 on Marshmallow 6.0.1 and have Xposed Framework installed with the module Smart Network which is supposed to do this, but it does not work, apparently because whenever turning off data, a popup message appears which you can only manually turn off. Does anybody know of a way to disable the popup message or know of any other way to automatically turn off data when the screen goes off, and then have the data turn on when the screen turns back on?
FYI, using Tasker and the plugin AutoInput, I figured it out. I was also able to create an app using Tasker App Factory.
Hey, does anyone else have a problem with One-handed mode setting turning off automatically (only when not actively in use). It's really annoying when I go to activate it but it doesn't. Anyone have any ideas?

The phone started to do flash notifications on incoming calls (camera flash turns on/off as it rings). It is a device feature that can be toggled under Accessibility Settings > Hearing, but it keeps happening even though it is disabled.
The OS is up to date. Has anyone encountered this issue?
