Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist It would be better if you post it here so that your device specific experts can help you Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Help and Troubleshooting
kindly bookmark it for future reference
Good Luck!

I'm guessing your root attempt was on Kitkat, as the autoroot files have been upgraded for Lollipop roms.
I would suggest flashing a stock 5.0.1 rom, and see if that cures your boot loop.
Alternatively it could just be as simple as requiring a full wipe from recovery.

[Q] Phone freezing after custom ROM flash

Hi all
I desperately need help i have no idea what to do anymore. Yes i tried to root and rom my phone and i messed up now i cant get it back to just normal functionality.
I downloaded a custom rom and installed twrp 2.6 recover. I flashed a rom and when i started it i only noticed that it was for a Galaxy s2. I could not get out of the setup so it ran and failed. After that i have had the problem that the phone boots fine and goes into any app and has full
functionality until i set it down and the phone locks itself, then the lag is so huge i have to restart my phone to get anything done.
I have tried flashing the correct Omega v13 rom and does the same. Also dit the same with the backup that i made with TWRP before i did the first flash.
Also i tried to get it back to the stock firmware using the following guides.
DroidViews | How to Unbrick Your Bricked Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500, GT-I9505, SCH-I545
How to Unroot and Restore Official Stock Firmware for Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 & GT-I9505 | WhatsWithTech.
I have flashed it and done every step correctly but when it boots the first time the whole touch screen doesnt react only the return and home keys work on first startup. If i restart the phone at this point (Just flashed stock firmware re partition with PIT file and new stock kernel) i can complete it but the same problem persists
Please tell me someone can help me fix this screwup.
I have a GT- I9500 Octacore international with Jellybean 4.2.2
This is the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active forum (meaning the I9295 International version/I537 US AT&T only model), not the Galaxy S4 (I9500/I9505/etc) forum which is located here:

Good luck with the problem(s) you're having, however.

[NEWBIE] Need help to root my Note 4 SM-N910G

So I have a Note 4 SM-N910G Variant Currently running 5.1.1 Lollipop and I'm looking forward to root it since my warranty is over. (Snapdragon) I want to flash dr.ketan's rom ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/n910g-dr-ketan-custom-rom-t2928568 ) but obviously I need to root my phone first.
I have researched through many youtube videos and website for Rooting and to my understanding, I need to download a kernel and flash a recovery called TWRP, flash SuperSU and then flash the ROM itself.
But so far, All I could find were kernels for other variants except N910G, some of them said that I can use the kernel for N910F ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/orig-development/tw-kernel-emotroid-team-t2990557 )
Can someone help me? And correct me if my understanding of the root procedure is wrong.
Really really really appreciated If you can help me
I tried to flash a kernal for SM-N910F 5.1.1 on my SM-N910G and it stopped my phone from booting (soft brick, got stuck on the first Samsung splash screen). I'm fairly certain that I did it correctly but I am new to Android so it might have been my mistake. I did get my phone working again by downloading the vanilla 5.1.1 SM-N910G firmware using SamFirm and installing it via Odin.
EDIT: I have successfully rooted my device using Noname Kernal http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63217526

[Bad/Failed Root?] Samsung Note4 Keeps Auto-Restarting - (Model: SM-N910G)

Hi Guys,
Recently got the a Note4 after being an S4 fan for 2 years. Tried to go ahead and root my device and i presume failed miserably. I don't think i did enough background research like i did before when rooting my S4.
Model: SM-N910G
Android V: 5.11
So,
I followed this to root my NOTE4: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/orig-development/sm-n910-cf-auto-root-t2897428
Then my phone didn't pick up any signal and kept restarting every 2 mins once the device was turned on. So i looked around some more threads and saw a post that i should download and boot this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62241991&postcount=56
I still have no Mobile data signal and my phone keeps restarting!
Any guidance how to get it back to normal? I don't even care about having my phone rooted anymore - Or am i completely stuffed?
Many thanks!
download stock firmware from sammobile and flash with odin.
You've been doing things wrongly.
Firstly, the CF autoroot for N910G currently only supports up to android 5.0.1.
Secondly, you should not ever install kernel that is not for your specific phone model. Sprint Note 4 =/= International Note 4 Snapdragon (N910G)
To restore back to normal, download official firmware for your phone (N910G). And then flash it using Odin 3.10
Edit: Download official stock firmware from either Sammobile or Samsung-updates. Or u can use the firmware downloader created by fellow XDA member. Be sure to download the correct firmware version/carrier
Thanks guys. Problem solved!

galaxy note 3 sm-n9005 bootloop.

hello, can someone help me with my Samsung sm-n9005 5.0 lollipop version bootloop problem, i was trying to update my note 3 to note 5 custom rom, i successfully rooted my phone but by the time i already download the file for note 5 rom, i wipe my data and cache using twrp 3.0 and install my darklord custom rom i ended up on bootloop. please help me guys. thank you!!!
You probably installed the wrong or no kernel, but we really need more info to go on here.
This is a question ..
As said above .One you failed to read the instructions . TWRP 3. will not work with Aroma .
Two bootloop on install how long did you wait and two did you factory reset .
Suggest you flash stock firmware then take time to read .

TWRP is recovery not rom .
MM no release for Note 3.
MM roms are custom read the instructions .
Dont no what rom this is as its not XDA .
