Lollipop currently rolling out to XT063 on Brazil (Jan 22)

Hello everyone, great news. I own a XT1063 in Brazil and I just received and installed an OTA for Lollipop.
My friend has a XT1069 and my brother has a XT1068, both of them haven't received the update so far. (this is a popular phone here)
All the three of us are using the newest version of Motorola Update Services posted in this thread I created, you might need to download and install that APK in order to get the update.
The version I received is 5.0.2, screenshots below:

Download the newest version of MotorolaOTA going to the thread I mentioned.

USA rollout also happening
I am getting the OTA right now.

edit:The link for Motorola Update Services 7.0.1 is dead.

I suppose dual Sim requires some major modification, and what's the root of the evil.

Interesting, the build date is just like 5 mins before the indian OTA 5.0.2

Ok that might be a good reason ,but why is india then getting the final OTA now? They have the dual Sim variant too. Is Motorola afraid of being taken to court or something by european users if something doesn´t work ?

I don't recall seeing one for the AT&T version rolling out other than this thread. If there is I missed it.

Battery life is MUCH improved on 5.1. 13 hrs with 40% left. Streamed music for about 4 hrs today.

Can anyone confirm what radio this uses? I know the build is D, but D build from Verizon uses 98r, original D build OTA used 95r. Which radio does this OTA come with?

E build contains the 98r radio and is supposedly specifically for Verizon. D build has always contained 95r.

LMY47D is the global Nexus 6 Android 5.1 build that is used for Sprint, AT&T and US Cellular in the US. Outside the US, it is used for all countries except Australia, New Zealand, and India.
LMY47E was shipped on new Nexus 6 devices sold by Verizon. It was not released to other devices as an OTA update.
LMY47I was only released to devices with SIM cards from carriers in India, Australia, and New Zealand.
LMY47M was only released to devices with T-Mobile USA SIM cards.

Is there anyone else besides me who has not yet received the 5.1 update? I have a Moto-purchased device on a MVNO - Cricket Wireless and have't heard a peep.

I haven't received it yet either. I have GP purchased device also on Cricket. :/

Just got an OTA on Verizon (10 July).

Anyone install yet? I'm not about to take it unless it has some major improvements.

I would advise against it, if you want root, and possible bootloader unlock. It may not cause any issues, but why risk it?

Did you get the one that bumped you up to 11A yet? And how big does it say the file is?

I got an update on sprint that I'm passing up on myself until I see more about it

What version are you on now? If you are on 11A and getting an update, it is a new one.

I know it could be meaningless because they could be pushing it out in waves, but I am on 11A and an update check shows there is nothing out there.

Got the update last night.never took it though..my build #right now on sprint is lmy47d....guys do NOT update until root has been pushed out to us..could be nothing but then again why chance it...

Could someone please explain to me what being on 11A means? I don't recall if this is the update that disabled downgrading or not, if so that sucks.
EDIT: Apparently it is, well my excitement & anticipation been shot down quite a bit. -.-, sad really because I purchased this phone July 1st, shouldn't have this update on it...especially from eBay, shame.

that uppdate has been talk about many of times on that thread below un less this is a new OTA update wish i am not seeing yet if its 11A then this fourm needs too be moved if its a new updates then please yet us no about the new update version # some one is really late too the party if its 11A has its been talk about in the thread be low

Are you sure it's not a soak test build as it shows your model an India model. What's your model?

It is India model. Don't think any more soak. It is straight from moto folks and clean build.

Kool. Have fun. So far my mobile rocks in speed and actions and split screens. So far so good. Not that features are many but speed and response are great and better.
Although need to do a good factory reset and retry.

its same as the as the second soak that arrived in first week of december, even the build number, kernal version, security version. EVERTHING is same. So i think that the soak was stable and so the made it official

Known problem of all nougat builds. Search forum, it's discussed already. No solution atm.

If you have the XDA app on your phone you can subscribe to a couple of threads dedicated to the topic. But honestly, I would not get worked up over the update. Once the roll out starts it could take days for you to get it as major updates are typically released over a period of days to minimize server loads and other issues.

Agreed.

No one is gonna release/leak the soak test files... The old days are gone.. all are selfish.. just put screenshot and showoff... but they ain't wrong as it is very difficult to get into soak test.. and if they follow up nda they will be there for future tests also

yah, i wouldn't say that they're selfish, there's likely a risk in violating that NDA. we're not entitled to anything.

Nope and none of us ever will regardless of carrier lol. I had switched to the Axon 7 but I had so many issues with data connectivity and WiFi so I returned it. I'll wait to see what I get next.

The answer is no... No one on Metro PCS, or any other carrier has gotten it yet because it hasn't been released to the public. The only people who have it are testers that are part of MFN. Patience, your not missing out on anything.

I'm really losing hope for this phone. I might just go for the 3T if they don't release an update that fixes the display issues.
