i have UNROOTED LG G2 D802 and i want to flash the latest firmware (Lollipop 5.0.2) using KDZ method
but my phone does not boot into download mode (volume up & plugging the USB cable) .. it goes to battery status only!
any help?

hi i tried to do a frimware update via lg flash tool but unfortunately my procces stopped in 11%
i unplug the cable and powered off the g2
now i dont have download mode recovery mode fast boot mode and hard reset menu
when i power on the g2 my phne show the lg logo and then a black screen
please help me
i have d802 last night i flash custom rom now phone hang on lg logo only download mode volume up and insert cable when i flash with lg flash tool with d802 firmware its show error cross dl d800 to d802 swversion i use this dll but still same LGUP_8974.dll error plz help if u
May I ask what ROM did you flash? Also you could've gone to recovery mode by holding volume down+pwr button, then you press power button again and the recovery would load.

vdt v22 i use this custom rom now my phone dont go in recovery mode when i press power volume down its gone on recovery orignal and hard reset automatic power on and hang on lg logo

Hi i have an lg g2 f320l corean version thet is stock on lg screen when I enter download mode it stai whit the download mode logo first screen when you enter download mode the problem is system partition get corrupted somehow . i have factory recovery from android 4.2.2 when i pres volum + and power it is going in som cinde off service with adb suport when i type adb reboot recovery it enters recovery buth iti only the green android with red triangle
I have similar problem .. F320L freeze ..I reflash and try all stock firmware .also lollipop ..I cant boot to recovery .only download mode ..but always see LG LOGO ..when in download mode ..is it hardware problem ?

I think the way you enter is right.
Maybe driver doesn't run well or LAF partition mess up
So what should i do to boot in download mode
I have a big problem, after flash a .zip (quickwindow g3 port to g2) and reboot the g2 entered to a bootloop, I can't enter to twrp recovery with the volume keys method and I tryed to flash kk again with the flashtool and kdz rom but the phone don't pass of the first download mode screen (do not unplug the usb cable), I mean don't appear the com port ant the progress bar advancing and neither flashtool continue the flashing, help please :c
