As you know our Samsung Galaxy S6 has payment feature called Samsung Pay, similar to Apple Pay through the use of various NFC technology and receivers.
Perhpas we can discuss anything about SamPay here including country availability, reliability, operations and etc... :highfive:
So far this is what we know ...
"Samsung's Senior Director of Product Management, Shoneel Kolhatkar, said at a GS6 press event last week in New York City that Samsung Pay will not be available for the initial U.S. launch.
"This will not be ready for launch, from a go-to market strategy, but the technology and hooks will be in place, so that it's future proof," Kolhatkar said.
In other words, we don't know when Samsung Pay will be available, so it could be a while before we know all of these nitty-gritty details. "
- CIO
From the Samsung press release back on March 1st:
Samsung Pay will initially be available in the United States and Korea this coming summer and expand to other regions, including Europe and China with Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge.

Scheduled for September in US and South Korea.

The one thing im worried about is how the device will handle with NFC having to be on all the time to be readily accessible to use Samsung Pay?
I leave my nfc on all the time. Most phones come with it enabled and on. There is almost no battery affect from. NFC

And by now most people should know rooting the S6 will disable Samsung Pay. More on that here

I'm not sure, different people have asked. Since each country have different providers, e.g. Singapore for Australia, it may change between countries.
However, the average has been around 3 days.
2 to 4 days? I have no it seen anything about Google getting more stock in 2 to 4 days. Most Lilley this was confused with something else like your order should ship in 2 to 4 days..
Of this is true I would like to see an email or a quote. There have been way top many rumors and so much false info related to this whole thing.
Google could clear it all up with as 2 minute statement to the press. I am really shocked that Google has not announced anything but backorders.. A simple statement would ease so many minds..
I was told sometime in the next 3 weeks probably.. That did not give me much confidence..lol

The White House stated its support for a person's right to unlock phones/devices and use them on competitor networks. Hopefully we see some action to reverse last year's Library of Congress decision highlighted in link below. First, here's an article on recent White House statement.http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2416194,00.asp

They do more to stop second hand phone sales than secondhand gun sales. I guess this kinda sucks.

Nah brah. Only phones bought after tonight.
source: http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2013/01/unlocking-new-cell-phones-to-become-illegal-on-saturday/
I don't understand why they do that. I think they should do quite the opposite, to force the carriers to sell only unlocked phones. That would encourage competition between the carriers and ultimately lead to better prices and better service.
That is exactly what has happened here in Israel. All phones sold are sim-free by law, and also the carriers are not allowed to make contracts - you can switch between carriers without paying any fine.

Cap'nO, I agree with you, and plus to stop unlock business on ebay.
Re: Illegal to unlock phones after tonight?
They are pushing to make carriers in Canada unlock their phones for customers at the same time it became illegal in the united states. Just make a quick trip across the border to get your phone unlocked legally and get some free health care and poutine while you are at it.

im pretty sure us from xda-developers can get around the exclusion of mcafee, if anything a rom based on those variants should be enough unless its built into the hboot or aboot whatever its called on the lg g3
At some point, I think Google may incorporate that into Android L or later, that's the rumor going around anyhow. I do hope it is true.
Just in case anyone didn't know this as well, the G3 will not have wireless charging out of the box either here in the US (I have the South Korean version in the USA, same here). The carriers will push us to get the QuickCircle case with qi capabilities.

The original document that was from can be downloaded from LG. Won't let me post links till i've done 10 posts, though if you google "G3 (LG-D855) Customer Service Guide" it comes up.
Looks like a customer services guide for staff. Gives an overview of other features plus the table above on where McAfee is pre-installed.
I states in the specs table: "space memory available to users" with "32gb model: 23gb" and "16gb model: 10gb"
I wonder why the 32GB uses 9GB out of the factory and the 16GB only 6GB...?
Mcafee told me... Kill switch is LG's feature..

If this notice is true it will be a shame for Samsung's side. They want to put many smartphones and tablets in the market but they can't update all so they invent stories like these. All my android's equipments are Samsung but Tab Pro will be the last equipment from this brand! And i bealive that are more people thinking like me.

I am also never getting another samsung device...if they tease their customers like this. They must just hate repeat buyers. But really, it they did release the update, it would be throttled down to encourage sales of the newer tabs. This is what I believe they did with kk. Why else would the tab s have no lag, and ours have lag on every screen change with the same hardware? Dirty tricks! I am done.
Device Support 3 years. We have to get at least something
http://www.youmobile.org/blogs/entr...-1-Lollipop-Update-is-coming-by-Early-Q3-2015
Q3-Q4))
From another chart I've seen, the first batch of Samsung tab getting M will be the Tab A. Yes, not the new 4:3 "flagship" Tab S2, not the older flagships Tab S and TabPRO, not our PRO 8.4 which has a Qualcomm SoC and should be easier to maintain, but the lowly Tab A!
I wonder what had gotten into Samsung these days...

[WARNING: XDA Premium 4.0.13+ lacks Signature function - do not update]
I really don't understand them. It's much more easier have 10 devices and update them than have like 100 devices and TRY to update them. It's a shame!
I am not surprised with lack of Samsung devices selling. First Samsung is expensive, Second they just promises about updates and Third KNOX sux!
These is the main reasons to me to abandon Samsung!
I am looking to buy this Globle variant from B&H. However according to there specifications in their site this phone does not support LTE band 12. But I have seen in some other sites LTE band 12 is supported for this model. Where can I find the accurate information about this model ?
www .bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1225381-REG/samsung_sm_g935_32gb_slv_galaxy_s7_edge_g935. html
Wow. I didn't know B&H was selling the International version of the phone as well. I'd rather buy from them than from eBay. Especially since they provide the 1 year warranty as well.
Interesting, I'm also curious at the OP's question.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3326180
According to this thread, the G935F supports all the bands. Part of the reason I purchased the international model despite living in the USA is because of that. My service on AT&T's network has been superb. And I know whenever I travel to the U.K. or around the EU - I'll be good for data service.
