Hi , I was wondering if anyone could give me some info about how to flash the lollipop update sinceI haven't received it via Ota so far. I have an unrooted D802 on stock kitkat with the 20c version. I scrolled throughout the forums but I couldn't find any clear guide on it so I thought of starting this thread. Thanks in advance!

Hello all
Like most AT&T users I recently received the notification for an update to Android 4.3. I'm currently on 4.2.2 MF3. I rooted using the guide here.
My question is this: is it safe to do the OTA update without any preparation? Will all of my settings/apps remain intact? Will I run into any issues as a result of being rooted? I assume the root will not remain after the update, so it is possible to root on the 4.3 OTA update?
Thanks in advance guys

you must download tot rom file then flash it using flashtool
I'm a complete newb concerning flash/installing software and especially reverting back to 4.2.2.. I have the D802 International version (bought it off Amazon) its the UK edition I believe. I'm trying to find the correct firmware but they are all so cryptic I'm worried I'll download the wrong one ( I have the 32GB version) and brick my phone..
Is there any kind of reliable guide I can use to do this process? Or better yet some kind of automated piece of software?
Or would it be best to just wait for LG to release an update to fix it?
If it wasn't such a big issue ( I use my headphones every day constantly..) I would wait but I don't think I can..
Any information would help.
You can try the steps described in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476

How to downgrade lollipop 5.0.2 to stock kitkat 4.4.2
I have d802 my phone is root and i have instal twrp but dont know how to flash and so...please tutorial step by step..ty
I've been neglecting my phone for a while, so I decided I should update my rom. Currently I'm running an ls980 with an old beanstalk build with the zv8 ota being the last one I installed. I'm looking through the mahdi thread to flash to it, and I was wondering if anyone could guide me through the process. Do I need to flash a new modem since I'm running a 4.4 build? Also, at what point throughout the installation could I update to zvd or is it even compatible with mahdi? Last I remember was when zva came out and there was some issue with the bootloader it caused. Does that happen with zvd? I appreciate any help
Hello,
I just got a Galaxy S5 ATNT (SM-G900A) version with firmware 4.4.2 and build number KOT49H.G900AUCU2AND3
I want to upgrade it to Lollipop, but from what I had seen, I need to upgrade it to 4.4.4 first, How can I achieve that?
I'm not on the ATNT Network(in result, OTA is not working), As i'm living abroad. My phone is factory unlocked.
I had also found an OTA .zip but it's a NG3 one, so I'm not sure if it's compatible with my device.
Thanks guys! (I'm hoping I could do this via the stock recovery way)
*I mean 4.4.4 at the title
I believe theres some ota zips but im not certain theres a way available thats been posted to do this, most of them use odin to get to stock and then using ota to update, or updating to get root, i havent seen one about just manually updating to 5.0, go give the att s5 general section a peek. Otherwise i'd ask the mods to move this over to the att q&a section, im sure one of the devs in the att s5 section would be happy to help.

Oh, i was incorrect, yes there is a lollipop OTA dump, check the att s5 general section, should be able to sideload.

Hey! Thank you for the reply,
I tried one of the lollipop ota .zips
Named
ATTS5Lollipop.zip
It doesn't install though, when I restart the device it's still on KitKat
Plus the manual ota .zips are for NG3s only,
Are those compatible with my device? (ND3)
NVM,
Downgraded to NCE,
Then upgraded to NG3
Then upgraded to OA1
Then to Lollipop.
Hello guys,
I have updated my G900F to 5.0 lollipop and after i saw that Kit Kat is way better i wanted to switch back to Kit Kat. When i tried to get it back to Kit Kat via Odin, it got stuck! It said Firmware upgrade problem. I solved the problem with adding PIT file i found on XDA forums. But since then i can't update OTA and can't update via Kies Please help me solve this problem. I guess it's a problem with PIT file i installed but without it i couldn't solve the problem with Firmware upgrade. After updating i also got a problem with camera sometimes failing, it starts and shows black screen. It can be solved with restart but after sometime the bug comes up again. Please help me, this is really annyoing and bugging me a lot
Why do you want to OTA if you want to stay on KK?
OTA will take you back to Lollipop
If you are rooted / custom recovery, you can not OTA
