Thanks Mahesh! I noticed you have posted a screenshot of Sony Bridge for Mac... did you face below error? I have posted on troubleshooting section but thought of checking with you as well. I am very eager to get v4.3 on my XZ
I have XZ (C6602) India Vodafone branded running on stock 10.31.A.2.67. I am trying to upgrade to 10.4.B.0.589 using Sony Bridge for Mac. The battery is charged above 50% and the Sony Bridge prompts me of the new upgrade available for download. As soon as I hit continue on upgrade wizard, I get below error. I have turned off the firewall, restarted my phone but nothing helps. I searched on the internet only found one hit that too unresolved. Please let me know if you have seen this before-

There was an issue with the update engine. Please contact technical support.

Good idea. Let's also make it entirely useless and not include an ftf for others. These threads are awesome!

Sure, they want you to be happy for now. But it will take a while until we feel actual update and attention from samsung for this device.

For me it sound like fake information,as Sams DEV team from Danemark didnt confirmed this information about update

By the way,all this information is fake,spoof,bull****…. !!!! If you will read all changes wich are made in 4.4.3 for S4 and S5 in this update,completely same as for Nexus Phones…. So what I gues,all its were copyed from Nexus update list,Edited and Pasted here!!!!! Keep and eye at – of June,date when Google I/O 2014 will happen,date of 4.4.3 Release for S4 CAT.4 (i9506)… If it will not be released,its fake information!!!!

Well, Nexus devices started to receive the update 4.4.3. Why no the i9506? It didn't receive the update 4.4.2 but I dunno if the information is fake or no. I bet it will receive the update in one near future, but android 4.5 directly. It's only my opinion

I also have GT-i9506 and I hope atleast at July to recieve minimum 4.4.2! Saying nothing about 4.4.3 or even 4.5 witch is not expected in nearest future

The interview here talks about a lot of matters. In the last quarter, he is asked about the E7 and why it is still not on KitKat.

This is what I have heard too and I would love the stock Android experience on my
5.5 and Amigo os as an option. Fingers crossed we will get that.

I saw in another thread that idol 3 5.5 wont receive android 5.1.1 update (i dont really care about that), but does someone knows if it will get the android 6.0 update ?

This question gets posted almost every day. It has been posted, but not confirmed, that Alcatel is working on 6.0 to be released by the end of the year.

also cyanogenmod has released CM 13 on the asus pad or something i saw it earlier last week its just a test build not stab;e enough but would be nice to get marshmallow CM here too

I'd say this is the most likely way we will see 6.0 now that the CM12.1 egg has been (mostly) cracked.

I'd take this with a pinch of salt as it comes from their facebook team and not from an official rep, but they've confirmed it on Facebook:

That's a long wait

If you want constant updates buy Nexus or Sony device. Otherwise stop complaining
I personally don´t care what Os version i have until everything works.
EDIT: that is what Czech Alcatel facebook PR says. They said (today 23.10.2015) that they will skip 5.1 and release 6.0 for IDOL3 5.5 in Q1 of 2016.

I've searched a lot but could not find such you said. Everytime I got that every update have to manually patched. However, would you please give me a screenshot/page link supporting your answer.

I have installed Xiaomi EU ROM first time - Awesome Experience compared to others - I have Mi11X (alioth) and installed 12.5.19 as I had installed 13.0 but it was not working properly such as no screen refresh, AOD not working - Then, I have installed 12.5.19 now question is will I get OTA for the new version or not? I have tried to log in on to Xiaomi EU login but unfortunately, they rejected my account and I didn't find any way to ask for unlocking - Hope someone will give the response
