Hi, I was wondering if someone is still using slimkat 9.0 on his D802 or maybe have zip file somewhere on pc.
I was wondering if this 'someone' could upload this rom anywhere, because the slimroms web is down or not i dont know, slimroms said that do not download anything from web page, also I am on stock kk and dont want to flash any of those buggy LP's..

The SlimRom website is working fine. Download Build 9 for the D802 from their website here.
The SHA1 checksum for the .zip I downloaded a while ago is 29dad9ec369c5db555f20d521605448be75bd5cb and I've been using it with no problems whatsoever. So if you download the .zip and get that SHA1 checksum, the file is fine.

Like I said................ check the SHA-1 checksum after you download Build 9 for the D802. If you get the SHA-1 checksum I posted it's okay to flash. I'm living proof and have been using Slimkat for almost a month now.

If it says its corrupt then it downloaded wrong - download it again. Confirm its md5sum matches up before trying to install it. If it still is corrupt, then try another browser or computer... the last time I was having corrupt file downloads it ended up being the download manager I was using.
Check the newest release. It was released 7-19. It works great!

Have you actually updated, and got a working Moto G 2nd gen with lollipop on it? I mean... you updated and checked it... right? It's just that the version number doesn't quite look right to me...

Okay, the MD5 sum, of: 0945e0fe1c4c176641e35a3329fa292f
...of your upload doesn't match the existing file with the name:
Blur_Version.21.11.17.titan_retuaws.retuaws.en.US.zip
Your file's MD5 sum: 0945e0fe1c4c176641e35a3329fa292f
Existing file MD5 sum: B44FFE73058EBB8B85C853151F8C3E36
Nor does the file size. Yours is 386.67MB, and the existing file with the same filename, is 497.1MB - look here:
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=36
If memory serves me correctly, the update file's filename, for newer versions on Moto G, matches the OLD build number... if someone could clarify this? I am 5 mins away from downloading your uploaded file, and I'll have a poke through and do some forensics to see what's what
The OTA file is always named same as the older firmware in cache file.....Don't worry he must have uploaded the same file.
Even though its the 22 version zip it will be called 21 in cache ...That's how Moto Does it

Yes, that's exactly how I remember them doing it, also. I recall this same confusion, earlier in the year. I've made this exact observation in the other thread where he has posted the upload. I reckon they do it to match old and new... I mean, imagine the game of dominoes - you have two MATCHING numbers end to end, but the separate dominoes are different overall.
Yes Flash away People and report the smoothness of this new update.
And please, share screenshots or even videos. Thanks.

Lots.
First few lines of "updater-script" categorically confirm this as Lollipop:

*note* This file is mainly here for rom developers looking to build a custom rom or extract files/patches to apply to other models. It can't be used to repair a bad update as patches will not apply twice.
nice, i hope someone can make it compatible with Y

The signature reflects the specific models I purchased and the amount of ram/rom they had. As such it appears accurate to me.
it's 16 GB and 32 GB, if it was MB you wouldn't even install anything
How do you install this?

The short answer, and it's not intended to be ugly, is that if you have to ask it's not a file you should be installing.
It's easier to get it from the system updater....this is primarily intended for folks doing rom work or want to extract the patches to see what might be applied to the other models. It could be sideloaded via twrp for the specific firmware/model listed if they needed to for a particular reason.

It died on verifying system because I don't have that Google bloat installed. Oh well.
Quick question. I've flashed .bin files via odin, what do I do here?
It's simply a renamed zip. Change .bin to .zip and you can open it.
@purple.epod and others....I'm uploading an unrooted system image with boot (we need the kernel to match the system) to mega and will post the url when it completes tomorrow sometime. That file can be used to flash via twrp to the latest version and skip all the interim steps. Keep an eye out for it.
Sorry for so many questions -_- Lol. But flash this? Or the one you're talking about uploading?
