Not able to root after re install of OS? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

So I had to re-install my firmware/ Operating system through odin because i accidentally deleted it. it worked, and i have my phone back again, but it seems im not able to root it again, I have tried rooting it again through kingo root and it gets stuck at waiting for device and then it says it failed. Then I tried through odin and it just resets my phone. this is the changelog from odin

[Q] [MF3] [AT&T] Soft-Brick Help?

Hey Everyone! Okay so here's what I got, I (very stupidly) Rooted my AT&T (I337) Galaxy S 4. Now that I was all fine until I used a flashing script (AS we have no custom recovery) to flash a "working" Google Wallet package. After I rebooted I would get "NCF Service as stopped responding". I managed to install SafeStrap but I couldn't seem to get anything there. SO I thought "Well let me just reflash to stock" so I tried KIES but KIES detects the latest firmware to be 4.2.2, AS we know it's not, and Samsung made MF3 rather impossible to downgrade. So I got the MF3 files used at BestBuy from here [http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2502003]. So I put my phone into Download Mode, Open up ODIN and select the platform software in the PDA section and click start. Odin will start flashing and it goes almost all the way through but at the end I get the error FAIL! (Auth). I shall post the code below:

Galaxy S4 Black Screen of death

Hello,
So my brother's Galaxy S4 appeared the recieve the BSOD on his Galaxy S4 i9505. His screen was acting all wierd with colors and died on him. I've googled around and found out that flashing it to the 'I9505XXUDMHB_I9505PHNDMHB_I9505XXUDMHB_HOME.tar.md5' could fix it. The phone hasn't been rootted or flashed.
Now i do have a litle experience with flashing a phone and got all the files: Odin, USB drivers & an stock rom. But Odin keeps giving me the same auth error and i have really no clue what i can do to fix this. The message is this:

I've tried several versions of Odin, several USB ports and 2 different micro usb cabels. I've bought an JIG to be sure it enters the download mode and tried the button combination to launch it in download mode. But i keep getting this same fail message.
Does anyone knows how to fix this or can i just send the phone to Samsung for an RMA?
Thanks,
Thomas
What android version is the phone? 4.3? maybe the file you downloaded was 4.2(.2) version and you cant downgrade so you need to find a 4.3 version one I hope this helped you

Thank you for your reaction. This does indeed explains it to me, i've been told at the phonestore i've been to that it has to do with an error in 4.3 and the only change to fix it was to downgrade it. Looks like i've to contact Samsung then.

Tab 4 SM-530NN loading stock firmware problems - WIFI will not turn on - does anyone have 530NN firmware???

Help! I have a Tab 4 SM-T530NN that I need the firmware for and I can't find a US copy anywhere. I tried a SM-T530NU version of the firmware and it mostly loaded. The MODEM.BIN part failed. The tablet boots and looks ready except it will not allow me turn on the WIFI, which I guess is due to the modem load failing. Any suggestions ?

I finally found a source that had a SM-T530NN firmware file, they had to pull it from their archives for me. all is good now, I have my Tab 4 working again. I just have to remember next time to check the battery level before starting a system restore. my bad....

I am having the same problem while installing LineageOS 18.1. Can you share the source for the firmware? I am having a really hard time finding this model number online.
Thanks in advance!
