So i guess i was pretty stupid when i tried to install an S6 Camera APK on my note 4
during this process i performed a backup of the camera apk from titanium backup and then uninstalled (just mentioning that the camera icon was there all the time as it was never erased)
tried to install the S6 APK and absolutely it failed
so i was trying to restore the camera apk from titanium backup and everytime got app not installed as if it was already installed on my device but every time i tried to open the camera app it popped up a message saying camera stopped
reflashing lollipop is currently not an option because i forgot my charger with the OEM cable at my girlfriend's house so is there any option to fix it through titanium backup?
thanks for your help

Ok, so I have made a number of nandroid backups and after doing some ROM flashing I decided to restore to one of them. I am using TWRP2.6.0.0 and when I clicked on restore it went through all the normal processors for boot, system and recovery but when it reached the data section it took the usual time to restore data (300 secs or so) but then an error message appeared.OK I thought to myself, this backup must just be corrupt so I tried a previous one but the exact same thing occurred. I decided to reboot anyway and it booted up fine but strangely it seemed like the data had already been restored, Google account was logged in, alarms were set ect, but when I launched an app all the data had been erased. I have tried restoring backups using TWRP 2.5.0.0 and 2.6.0.0, backups both with and without compression and restoring each part indevidualy but still I got the same results. As I had no titanium backup data for most of my apps I used an app called nandroid manager root. This let me access the app data from by nandroid backups and restore them and that worked fine. For a while everything worked fine until I noticed a few of my apps had been uninstalled, exposed installer, too manager, 3d mark and few more, I tried redownloading from the play store but I keep getting "app not installed errors" I have also tried installing the apk and using root apps to install it but I keep getting errors. this makes me think some files must'be restored from the nandroid and are not letting the app be installed. I'm not sure and I'm quite a noob but I am wondering if their's anyway to fix this without factory reseeting and if theirs any way to get future nandroid backups to work. Thank you.
So, I backed up and then removed S Health and Sensor Service a while back with Titanium Backup. I bought a Gear 2 and I have decided that I want to actually setup and use it. I did a restore in Titanium Backup but now I get a window saying S Health and/or Sensor Service has stopped working. I tried deleting the cache and data, restoring data and app back, uninstalling and reinstalling, etc. Nothing is working. I have not updated or changed anything since my backup, so a different Android version/backup conflict is not the problem as stated in other threads. What could I have done? How can this be fixed? I've looked everywhere and read all the other threads regarding both Titanium Backup and S Health and still can not figure out what to do. Links to stock software in older threads are all broken. I have an SPH-L720, Android 4.4.2, S Health 2.5.4.066, Sensor Service 2.33.
I flashed the LRX21T factory image and used CF-Auto Root and noticed that when I try to open the Photos app (the new Lollipop gallery I guess?) it just force closes. It doesn't even try to open, it just shows a message saying that it stopped working. I even went and completely removed the app with Titanium Backup, pulled the APK from the system image on my PC and reinstalled it, but it still doesn't work.
I did also use Titanium Backup to remove some apps I never use (Newstand, Google+, etc) so I am going to reflash the factory image tonight after work and try it, then root and try it and if it works I'll try to narrow down what app I removed caused it to stop working and post here.
I was just interested to see if anyone else had this problem.
Hello
Note 3, AP:N9005XXUENE3, CP:N9005XXEUNE3, CSC:N9005XSAENE1.
Bought it with rooting in mind, and figured they have been around a while so most problems I might encounter would already have been solved.
Rooted it with Odin, no problems.
Installed Root Explorer, Titanium Backup, Xposed and Wanam, Greenify and Adaway.
Tried a few customizations and all was good, spent time with google before doing anything.
When I installed Titanium, backed up everything including system.
Then I decided I needed a Nandroid backup before i did anything silly.
So I've gone with CWM, and after checking on a couple of sites, used 6.0.4.7.tar.
Installed using Odin, no problems, made a backup straight away.
After reboot all seemed ok until . . .lol.
First thing I found was gallery was not able to show pictures, found them in Root Explorer and they opened ok.
Then opened Titanium where the backup was and it just stuck on 'processing app data' , after I granted su permission.
Had to restart phone to stop it, tried reinstall , same thing.
Tried to use the Nandroid backup to recover , but same issues.
Guess I did something wrong.
Any ideas much appreciated.
Thanks

Twrp is recommended as it's in active development.
I've used Titanium Backup successfully on various phones, including my One Plus Two.
But last night I noticed that when I made a backup any app, it looked like all was working, but no backup was made (and no error message).
So I decided to re-install the app. But when I try to uninstall it, the phone immediately reboots. I've never had this problem with any app before, so I'm wondering if anyone can help me resolve it.

What ROM are you on, custom or stock? Obviously you are rooted, what SuperSU? Do you have busybox installed? It works fine for me.
