Problem flashing stock rom ODIN - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey I bought a new s5 a couple days ago. The upgrade to 5.0 didn't show up on the phone so I decided to flash a stock rom through ODIN. So it started flashing but when it got to the HIDDEN part it failed.
How do I fix it I am extremely worried.
*I dont have a lot of knowledge with this kind of stuff*

## Just tried to flash a pit file right after the fail. Now my phone is stuck on the Samsung Gaslaxy s5 page before the bootloader.

Failed CF-Auto-Root - Phone won't boot now.. need some help please

Hi There,
I just bought a Rogers i337m S4 yesterday. This is my first experience with a S4. I have used a Note 2 in the past with some experience with Odin/Samsung however.
I want to flash the Google Play Edition 4.4.4 rom on it to get rid of Touchwiz.
First step is to root the phone.
I downloaded ODIN 3.07, download the CF-Auto-Root, extrated to get the .tar.md5 file, and followed the steps to a T... the update failed and now my phone doesn't turn on. It goes directly into Download mode on the phone when powered on.
I'm sort of freaking out as I can't afford another phone right now. Anyways with the Note II, I could simply flash the complete firmware from SamMobile via Odin.
Any ideas why this failed? I used a Sony Xperia USB Cable - would that be why?
I am downloading the NE1 4.4.2 Rogers Firmware now - and just downloaded Odin 3.09 now. I will dig out the Samsung Cable as well. If I flash this in ODIN should this at least get me back to stock and up and running again?
Just flash the firmware under PDA with nothing additional checked, correct?
Sorry for the panic
I downloaded the stock firmware and flashed, it fixed it. I then tried the CF-Auto-Root again and it worked fine this time.
Weird. Must have been the Xperia USB Cable? Only thing that changed.

[Q] Soft Bricked S5 Need Lolipop Firmware Download

Hello, about 30-40 days ago, I updated my android to lolipop. I was having alot of problems so I decided to Flash my phone back to kitkat 4.4.2. Long story short this didnt work and now my phone is stuck in a bootloop with no firmware on it. I've spent about 12 hours trying to fix it, doing things such as a factory reset (wont work b/c no firmware) and yet again flashing kitkat, which fails in odin every time. I recently heard from my carrier and a samsung rep that I cant downgrade. However I've scoured the internet and cannot find a .tar file for lolipop. I found a Rom .zip file with an assortment of folders and files but I cant flash that with odin. I have a Galaxy S5 from AT&T, (sm-g900a). Im unsure the specific version of lolipop, as I said I updated about 30-40 days ago. If someone could provide help and a download link For a .tar file of the lolipop firmware for g900a, I would appreciate it immensely. I don't have a micro sd card atm, but can get one if theres no other way to fix. also, what version of of odin should I use, I have 1.85, 3.09, and 3.10.

Use ODIN to flash
Sorry can't link because each of those sites are banned here due to not adhering to XDA rules, but they are legitimate ROM source sites
Both of those sites only have kitkat 4.4.2, downgrading wont work, it fails every time, I need a download link for lolipop 5.0 if you cant post here, please email it to me at meowmix226(AT)gmail(DOT)COM

Stuck with N9005

Hi all
I am a silent reader of this forum since long but for the first time I feel like as if I am in a real trouble. A couple of days ago I got a Note 3 International version N9005 Snapdragon from a friend. It was running on 4.3 rooted version so I tried to update it to 5.0 stock using odin (Sammobile UK BTU firmware). Something went wrong over there and i got a FAIL message from odin. There onwards I tried searching all over the web but couldn't bring it back to life. One thing I never tried and won't do it that is use of pit file for re-partitioning. Now at this moment it has got a CWM recovery 6.0.4.7-kk(0125) installed but whenever I even try to flash a custom rom, it installs successfully but after reboot i am stuck again samsung logo. I have tried using a few kk custom roms with no success and also tried flashing 4.3, 4.4.2 and 5.0 stock roms from odin with again no success. Now my aim is to bring this thing back to life. Kies 3 gives a message that your device is not compatible with this version of kies.
Waiting for some expert opinions, I am ready to start from the beginning.
Regards

Soft Bricked Galaxy S4 LTE while downgrading

Hello,I had this rom installed(https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-develop/rom-super-wizcyan-29-nov-15-t3259562) and since I'm kind of noob I tried to downgrade to this one ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2454205). I flashed it in TWRP recovery and when the phone finished and restarted i got into a bootloop( i think that's how it's called) - the samsung logo with the light from behind but that's it. I cannot open the TWRP recovery anymore,I cannot restore the stock firmware with KIES, I tried to restore 5.0.1 lollipop stock firmware through ODIN with and without PIT file and also 4.4.2 stock ( i did not find one for my country - Romania, I found one for Germany). Please help me with this issue..I will install any software and just leave it if it works..I just need my phone .. yep, desperate ..)
I'm sorry if I broken any rule by opening a new thread I'm just desperate to solve this issue..been working at it for almost 4 hours..
L.E. Odin says there is no partition when trying to flash the stock roms so i used this PIT file ( CSB_signed_Fusion3_EUR_0325_V2.pit)
Have you tried Smart Switch?

I don't really know what that is or how should I do it )
Problem fixed. I flashed from a different pc a complete stock rom(bootloader, pit file, csc and all of the other stuff) and it worked perfectly.
