Lollipop is making my N7 almost unusable. When i clear my cache it only takes seconds. My experience in the past with other droid devices this would take a cpl of mins or longer. How long does it take some of you when you do this? Thanks

After about a month and a half of daily use I've noticed that Opera went from loading in several seconds to taking up to 20 seconds. I just cleared out all cache/cookies/history, and it appears to now load in a few seconds again. Does Opera parse the cache when its starts, causing the slowdown if the cache is too big? Kind of a bummer that I'll have to clear the cache (and cookies + history?) every month or two, kind of defeats the purpose of having it if I have to wipe it out once in a while.
I also noticed the same thing.I only use Opera for surfing secured sites. Then I clean up with SK Tools.
I tested this on 3 vibrants, so far, so good. Its as simple as clearing the "Maps" cache. Before clearing, it took forever or not at all to get a lock. Now, it locks in ten seconds or less.
Will only work if you already flashed the new GPS files!
Instructions
1. From your home screen, hit the menu key.
2. Tap "Applications"
3. "Manage Applications"
4. Press Menu key
5. "Filter"
6. "All"
7. Tap "Maps"
8. Hit clear cache
9. Try it out!
Thanks bro. Will test it out today

It has been a couple days, is it still working? I ask because getting GPS to work for up to a day has never been a problem, but (nearly) inevitability it will fail after that at some point.
If the GPS is better, versus seems better, but degrades over time, I'd like to know to what degree so if you can stand it to monitor these 3 over at least a week, listing what changes every couple of days or so, that'd be helpful.
Well, I started to notice that getting a lock inside was getting considerably slower or not at all (which is not what gps is intended for, but hey) Outside, it is perfect. There was one phone that completely stopped getting a lock even after a reboot and a clearing of the cache. But a few hours later, it was working perfect...will continue to update...

Hey everyone,
Context: I have a rooted stock 4.2.2 rom Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3, but I don't think that matters.
Last week I started experiencing hangs, and stutters with various applications, it would just freeze for 1-3 seconds and start moving again.
Then notifications, especially download notifications started to persist after clearing.
Starting 3 days ago anything I downloaded would stop between 50% and 73% and wouldn't finish for 5-10 minutes. This also applied to any and all installations.
Starting yesterday, all data transfer and text messages, even anything over wifi is taking 5-10 minutes or more, and sometimes never comes unless I do a battery pull.
I tried installing Titanium Backup in hopes of being able to back up my phone, but it won't generate the popup to ask for root privileges.
I've tried clearing the data and cache on just about any app/process I thought could be causing this. I've also done a cache partition wipe, it did not help.
I'm thinking a factory reset is in order, but wanted to get a 2nd opinion as to whether there is any other fix.

The phone freezes like for a minute or two... When deleting huge files like 2gb or so... Done factory reset... Still problem persists..
The same goes for clearing cache as well... Even for like 200mb cache file deleting... It takes couple of minutes
Any solution?
