Hello Guys,
I have a problem that is kinda hard to explain. Whenever I charge my nexus 4 I have dead spots on my screen, I can't press the letters I,K or M for example. Now since yesterday The problem exists even when I'm not charging. I haven't done anything different except installing 5.1 but I don't think that's the problem. any ideas?

I just got this problem recently and out of nowhere.
When i plug it into computer or charger with the cable, the screen is unresponsive but when i unplug it, it acts normally. But now it sometimes happens even when i'm not charging it. Sometimes when i pres the power button to unlock, it's not responsive AT ALL. I have to turn off the screen again and turn it on again so that it can be unlocked.
Any of you people know why this is happening?
I have read some thread in HD2 section that this is caused by the broken Gsensor. Is it the same with mine?
Also, I had almost similar issue with my HTC Desire once where sometimes the touchscreen recognized two touches while I only touched it with only one finger. It was then cleared when i change the ROM to MIUI and only MIUI (this also occured and solved with MIUI too with my friend's Droid1).
I want to know whether it's software or hardware issue and how to solve the problem. I already flash another ROM but it's still the same. Can it be solved by flashing sbf? Thanks
I've had that problem to but no clue why. I just ignored it.

Hi, a friend of mine got an N7 a few days ago, and he has been using it fine, no problems at all, however, not 10 minutes ago, when he tried to use it, he said the entire touchscreen went dead, and doesn't respond to any touches. He is bringing it round tomorrow for me to have a look at, but I was wondering if anyone else had had this problem (couldn't find anything in the forums with search), or had any suggestions?
He has tried multiple reboots and wake/lock cycles, but no luck so far, and I don't remember it feeling creaky or badly constructed when I played with it on the first day he got it.
Thanks
Edit: Just something I missed out, the N7 hasn't be modified at all, so no rooting etc, AFAIK, meaning the problem isn't because of that..
Same problem on mine! Had my Nexus 7 CCO less than 1 month. The screen suddenly stopped responding to touch. I can still access the device using a OTG cable and mouse. No visible screen lift, screen colours / clarity all ok, even all my apps work. I factory reset the device but still the touchscreen is not working. Not sure what happened. I was so careful when using it
Note: Its a stock device.
Hi,
In last week I got very strange behavior on my G2.
It started with knock on didn't worked as it should be and stuck few times and continued with strange notification bar behavior.
When I am trying to pull the notification bar down it sometimes stops at the middle of the screen and get back up, it takes few tries but at the end it is working.
I thought it is software problem and tried to do factory reset and flashed different roms but those problems are still exist.
I don't have any screen protector so that's option out too.
Any idea what the problem can be? I don't have any warranty and I am curious if anyone got this before and maybe there is a solution before I will go and get screen replacement.
Thanks for any help you can give.
Hi,
Today I got very strange behavior with my G2.
It started with knock on stopped working and continued with strange notification bar behavior.
When I am trying to pull the notification bar down it sometimes stops at the lower of the screen and get back up, it takes few tries but at the end I manage to put in down.
I thought it is software problem and tried to do factory reset and flashed different roms but those problems are still exist.
I don't have any screen protector so that's option out too.
Any idea what the problem can be? last time I had similar problem I made a screen replacement (it was 2 months ago) and today it happens again. I don't want to replace the screen again.
Thanks for any help you can give.
Hi all,
I have a strange problem with my display. 2 days ago I just turned it on and had some strange lines that came like out of nowhere (I'll attach pics). The tablet is new, bought it one month ago, I didn't drop it, nor hit it. The part that has the stripes works if I press on it,it just doesn't display properly. The lines show up from the time I turn on the tablet, even before booting up the android OS.
Do you think it's a hardware malfunction or it could be fixed by upgrading let's say my GPU drivers?
P.S. When I make a screenshot, the display shows no problem.
hardware problem, factory malfunction maybe
