I believe the obb folder is already on android/data/obb reason you can't create it is because its already there and its hidden.. Just search for it with a search tool at the bottom.. And drag the obb game data into it.

If you have a Mac, use Android File Transfer and you will see the folder. I don't know what the Windows alternative is.

pick the color you want for example RS_Bar_blue.png and RS_Ind_blue.png and rename them to RS_Bar.png and RS_Ind.png then copy to \windows folder and allow to overwrite the original ones, I included in the zip file the original color just in case you want to go back to it.
Man, great work Poorlyduck, let me just give this thread a bump. I used the yellow random access along with the other yellow cube and htc home icons you provided, my mogul looks real nice! Thanks!
Poorlyduck,
Excellent tool. Hopefully will be appended to a ROM or 2 somewhere, with your permission.
Thanks for the excellent work.
WB
thank you guys for all comments.
@wacky.banana you definitly have my permission to use them anywhere you want, enjoy!
BEAUTIFUL!!
Among all HTC's shipped softwares, random access might be the most practical one. However, it's black-grey bar just doesn't see eye to eye to roms with non-htc-black&grey-interface. Your work just make everything perfect! thank you a lot!!
the green is poppin!
THANKS

Access denied
I also get the access denied message, so probably the files are open.
However, besides Active Sync (which I cannot kill for some reason) there's nothing running. How can I overwrite the files?

you cant overwrite the file from the pc to your device if its protected, so you need to move it to storage card or somewhere beside windows folder, and use your device to move the file to windows folder.
I cannot get these to work at all. The files on my device are read-only and I cannot replace them from my PC or when I put the files on my storage card and try to copy them into the Windows folder. It gives me an error about memory and making sure the files aren't read-only or in use. Any ideas?

first make sure contacts (random access) is closed, leaving the app running will prevent you from changing the images. Then using resco explorer (or any other 3rd party file explorer) copy the files from teh storage card to the random access folder (typically this will be the \windows folder). If prompt with a warnign about overwriting ROM files, go ahead and ok the prompt.
That didn't work for me. I downloaded Resco File Explorer and copied the files from my storage card to the windows folder, overwrote the files and nothing changed.
I've had the same problem - tried the storage card, tried Rescoe - what else can I try?
welcome to my world! I can't seem to get random access working on my touch either....says it doesn't have perms to install....aggravating...

I searched the registry, device and the sd card. I found they are in the 'windows' folder...
But I cannot delete them...
I am using the Energy rom... I do not think it does exist in the rom before... Acturally, it appears after I installed some software....
Does anyone have a way to delete them? Thanks...
im using resco explorer which allows me to delete such files, im not familiar with total commander but there may be something in the settings which will allow you to delete those files....
you could download the free trial of resco and try that way....
hope that helps....
Thanks mate... I have Resco as well...it shows me
Any suggestion? I am pretty sure the ENERGY team did not put these useless wav file with meaningless name under windows folder... It s my fault... I install some software...but I cannot remember which one...
yeah I was wrong I cant delete them either...
it must be to do with the rom though....
il look into this when I get home and let you know if I get to the bottom of it....
Hey
i had a similar issue when trying to free up some space on my old tytn2
the files were ringtones (.wma) but in theory this should work with most files
give this a go: copy the offending file to any other folder (my docs, sd card...)
uncheck 'read only' in file property
copy back to windows folder - overwrite when asked/ warned
then you should be able to delete from windows folder.
(backup 1st, just in case)
hope this helps

Cheers man but that didnt work for me Im afraid.......
I listened to the files and they seem to be sound files for some sort of gps / navigation program.... Ive never installed any such program and as resco says they're in the rom memory it must be something to do with the energy rom........
Cant think of any way to delete them, They dont realy occupy much space its just a pain that they appear in the notification sounds menu......
Oh well...... Im stumped....

if im not mistaken even if you do delete them they will get restored when you soft reset.
anyways rename the files instead of deleting them, soft reset and then delete the renamed files however as i said i think you will just have a fresh copy.

Thanks for the explanation! I tried to play them... Yeah...it is the navigation... I installed tomtom. I though it was tomtom before...
Thanks again... Do you have any idea about how to hide them from the alert selection menu???
I'm having this same problem. I don't want to delete the files, I just don't want them showing up in the drop down menu in Sounds & Notifications. Can't they just be moved to the Sound folder in App Data in the phone memory?
Today while I was about to remove a ODEX file from /data/app/ to fix a insufficient storage issue which is false I spotted some strange files which was created on the 8th which is strange, does anyone know anything about these files?
EDIT: Just found out that they are video data, is it safe to remove and how did they get there?
EDIT2: SD Maid Cannot even find those files.

I have a ton of .yuv files but they are in the data folder itself not the subdirectory data/app. Never mind I looked at your pic and that is where yours are at too. Maybe they come from a game?
i have many in the data folder, and i delete them often. all the ones i have are from the hdr mode camera. since i do a lot of photography, i generally get hundreds of those files weekly.

I missed that thread completely, thank you so much.
I tried it and it creates more files, time to remove those files.
EDIT: Found some more of those files but with different names and 11MB, what shall I do with them?
EDIT2: Screenshot will not upload so the files are:
main_before_0.yuv
main_before_1.yuv
main_before_2.yuv
Those files are the same size and they where created just today, it seems that they created themselves after I removed those other files.
EDIT3: It also creates a album file in the same directory with the properties saying that the camera is the owner.
Root Explorer will not delete the left over yuv files unless I delete them one by one.
EDIT4: Album file will be recreated when camera opened anyway.
The shell cannot remove the files saying that it does not exist like it is an hidden file.

you need es file Explorer to explore /system/media/audio folder where ringtones and other sounds are, then copy this folder to internal sdcard and then zip files and attach here.

Can somebody extract launcher apk please?

Hi Expert!
You can access the /system?
You know how to root Nokia 6? Please advise.
no... I have never rooted a phone before, but ES file Explorer is an app in Google play (see link) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop
and you don't have to root the phone when you read / folder, you need only read access to copy ringtones from that folder to internal memory or SD card, if you want to write to this folder you have to ask some other because I don't know how to root.
but you don't have to root phone just for uploading ringtones here.
