Pink, blue, yellow etc hues to screens - Galaxy S6 General

Thought I would open a new thread as there's another one called getting replacement due to screen which doesn't really make it clear.
I'm on my second s6 and this one has an annoying pink hue. Discuss here.....

Don't open duplicate thread if the Title is not Clear. Ask the OP of that thread to make it clear. Or have him report it so one of the Moderators can change it.

'Flush' the recessed screen ?

Just put on my Martin Fields screen protector and noticed that it rose the height of the screen.
Since the screen is touch resistive, could I (or anyone) put on 2 (or more) screen protectors to make it flush?
Would it affect the usability of the screen? As in sliding like in TouchFlo or through contacts.
Please search the forum before posting the same things over and over again.

Oh sorry about that. I shall take a look at that thread.
Edit: Ok so that question was not exactly answered in that thread. Most of it was about the screen being recessed.

OnePlus one Yellow tint discussion

Hello proud owners of 1+1
Let's discuss about Yellow tint on the bottom of the screen.
1) How much visible is this yellow tint on screen?
2) I this because of Hardware issue? What are the chances of damaging screen in future?
3) Can this be a deal breaker?
4) How is Battery performance compared to other devices?
Thanks in advance for your valuable response and updates.
This will help to take decision to buy Oneplus One phone.

Share new videos of the S6 and S6 Edge right here

Share videos that you've come across here, but only those that show or tell us something that hasn't already been shared to death.
In this Carphone Warehouse video, the reviewer finally shows off in depth the gold/silver color of both phones. But, then he says that the phones come in Gold, Black, White, Silver, Green, and Blue. Silver? There isn't actually such a thing, right?
And, here's another that shows the amazing low-light performance and comparison with the Note 4 in such environments.
Sweet video for low light!! More of those especially in comparison to other devices and maybe a little more clarity in reviewing the two pics would be fantastic!
At the same time there will be enough differentiation from the main model; those who want thin metal/glass design will pick the GS6, those who want features will pick the Active version. ???

What colour Black or White and why?

As per the Title
Our country only offers the S6 and S6 Edge in Black and White.
I'll be picking mine up tomorrow
Which colour would be better and why?
Thanks:good:
From what I saw in reviews and comments, white is less prone to fingerprints and smudges, or at least that you can't see them as much
Black because I think it looks more "professional" and I think it looks better in the dark, as you will see all screen and no bezel.
You don't really need to start a new poll for this.

Graphite color turning purpleish while in dim light?

Hey guys!
My Graphite color nexus 6P looks really nice while in direct light. It looks as you see in most photos on the web. But while it is inside a room with dim light it seems to get a faint tint of purple. As in the graphite turns a little bit in purple. It might be from the light or from the colors it reflects from around it but I am not sure. Does this happen to any of you?
Best regards!
Ok, you need to stop this, now.
This forum is not here for your EVERY ocd about the color of this device. This is the SECOND thread you've opened regarding the color.
"The color in dim light looks ______ " are you serious? This is a post on xda? I can't even anymore.

Not trying to be rude. But what am I doing wronge, if I make ? i am asking something about the quality of the phone. Something that I consider odd. Trust me I searched before about this and found nothing. That's why I am asking. Maybe someone with the same question wil also find this thread useful.
With all respect but I do not think ai did anything wrong.
I am still waiting for a competent answer
Best regards!
the color changing in different light has to do with "the quality of the phone"?
Are you kidding me?
You were ready to do a second RMA on your device because you thought the color of your PERFECTLY FUNCTIONING fingerprint scanner was slightly (but you werent sure) different than the rest of the device.
And now you're ready to do it again, because of the way the color changes in different light? This is why the RMA process is becoming harder and harder. Pure abuse.
This is pretty stupid.
I think you should put a matte black dbrand skin on yours and call it a day. Or return it and get a different color other than purple. Or put it in a box where light can't escape or enter. Of all the things people have been critical about on this phone, this one is quite somethin
Here it's kinda purple: https://tctechcrunch2011.files.wordpress.com/2015/10/img_20151019_133436.jpg?w=1024
But it's grey here! http://www.androidheadlines.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Nexus-6-vs-Nexus-6P-AH-8.jpg
Here's it looking like a black hole: http://www.droid-life.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/nexus-6p-12.jpg
A different shade here: http://i.imgur.com/Pwp8R35.png

It is actually that is pretty noticeable. Especially in dim light rooms. Trust me, I am not making this up.

We all know you are not making this up, but you are creating various threads that point out a non-issue (as it does not affect the quality, and functionality under normal circumstances). Put simply, different materials reflect light differently and the quality of light also may change how humans perceive color.
I don't believe this thread is out there to help anyone with a similar question. Your previous thread asked a very similar question and you will be getting similar answers in this thread (or so I believe). If I am correct and you receive similar comments this means you are spamming the forum and that's what you're doing wrong.
I think you study how light absorbs, reflects, and transmits.
Enough said.

Doesn't matter if your making it up or not.
If its an issue that affects you, then handle it how you see fit.
Posting here, asking if it happens to anyone else (twice now) is really irrelevant. If it bothers you enough, handle it, what others think shouldn't matter.
Put a case on it, return it, whatever.
Obviously its an issue for you. So fix it.

this is the best answer lolololol
Maybe you should just get a different phone. First the fingerprint scanner and now this. Not to mention no one's answer in the other thread you started was good enough for you to realize you're phone is fine. All you're seeing is the reflection of light off the phone. Nothing wrong with the phone at all. Light is comprised of every color on the spectrum (ROYGBIV). Your eyes simply see different colors based on the angle of the reflection and the intensity of the light. Once again. There is nothing wrong with you're phone. If you can't accept it then go buy a different phone. Nuff said.
