Hi experts. Please help me. I have Nokia Lumia 822. I have Windows 8.1. Lumia Denim update, now i want install Windows 10 TP on my lumia. My phone is officially supported for technical preview. I installed Windows Insider App from Windows Phone Store and when i opening app and clicking on "get preview build " insider app close automatically. ( i can not choose <enroll> slow and fast mode) What's happening? My friend has Same mobile but everything is fine. I reset my phone but nothing. i registered on Windows Insider program. Everything is correct but i have this big problem. Please help me if you can. ( this problem also i found on Windows Insider App feedback) please help me. Thanks,
If you have updated to Denim and the software OS version is newer then 8.10.14219.341 you will need to re-flash your Nokia Lumia to an older OS version.
If you follow this post it will show how to downgrade but remember you always rick bricking your phone when you play around with it, if your not experienced with re-flashing.

Thank you very much for your reply. I know this but in my opinion this is not problem, because my friend's had Lumia Denim: Latest 8.1 update but Windows Insider works fine. Problem is that when i click on "Get preview builds" inisder app close immediately. I don't know what is problem. I tried many ways but nothing. Now i will flash, but flash file is very big. i am wanting some help to do with my htc hd2 running windows phone 7 with the dft rom and mgldr and when i have my phone connected to my computer it brings up there is an update available but it always times out and i have tried rectifying the problem by downloading the windows phone support tool BUT this is where the problem is, i cant use this tool because the buttons on the phone have changed when the dft rom and mgldr have been installed and now i cant get my phone onto the connect to pc image screen for windows which is a black screen with the phone, cable and a laptop in it, the updates through zune will then be accepted it fails on the last step every time please help!!!! many thanks jamie.
Yes there is a update from Microsoft available for WP7 called NoDo. But a working adaptation of it for the HD2 is not available yet. It was a video released a while back showing NoDo copy and Paste feature working on the HD2 by the DFT. But it kind of seem to be holding out for the Mangoo update or something because a ROM that can either receive the update or has the update included in it has yet to surface that I know of.
So just to make sure you understand, you can not install the update no matter what you do right now. Unless you would like to jump in and steal the spot light for a minute and be the one that officially released said ROM. That is if you are so minded to do it, I personally would love to but I do not have the knowledge to do so yet.

Many thanks for your help and am i right in saying that the mango update should be around about the 25th may 2011? i read 4 to 5 pages last night trying to find info on these matters hence the time of post . HD2 PROUD OWNER.
So I installed the new mango build on my buddies Verizon HTC Trophy, afterwards I cannot Developer Unlock his phone using Windows Phone Device Registration. I have performed this successfully on my 2 Dell Venue Pro's and Samsung Focus but for some reason the Trophy gives a unrecognizable by zune error. Please help

thank you but I can successfully unlock phones, just not the Trophy...I have 3 other WP that can be read just fine but Device Registration will not read the Trophy.
How did you unlock DVP with 7720 RTM ?

If I have NoDo and I want to do a Developer Unlock, will official Mango release lock the phone back?

I have a paid wp DEV acct. I was able to unlock my Nokia 920 using the wp8 sdk, but i'm getting nowhere with the wp7 sdk.
I noticed that when i open zune, i also get a message saying it was unable to create a connection between the phone and the internet; i've never seen that message in the past.
When i use the wp7 developer unlock tool, it says "unable to connect to phone, please check that zune software is running. . . . . "
I've searched the forum many times and haven't found a solution that works yet.

Yep, same wifi.
I've tried it with two different DVP phones now.
I have another DVP on the way with no OS updates; should be here next week.

The problem I'm having is my phone's marketplace and online marketplace still says it has to be updated with zune even though it's completely up to date, so I can't download any apps. Can anyone PLEASE help me??

Had the same problem, switch to this ROM: "3_HD2 Pdaimatejam Rom Wp7.8 OS 7.10.8835.35 v8.5"
I found it working better than I expected! Don't forget to get an activating code for your live services, just chat with the Windows Phone support. :good:

please help me to roll back my Lumia 640 LTE 10.0.10240.16384 (downloaded from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/win...alled-leaked-windows-10-mobile-t3173000/page9) to 8.1 stock. I try everything but just wont work. I try Nokia software recovery tool and Windows devices recovery tool (see attach) (this software detect my 640 like dual sim, I don't have dual sim). None of them wont work for me....I read somewhere that I can rollback to stock with Windows Phone Image Designer for flashing ROM, but I need ffu image file for my model (I don't know where to look anymore, i try everywhere). And also I try Nokia Software Updater for Retail, nothing!! Can anyone help me please?

you have to download official tool from MS: "Windows Phone Recovery Tool" https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=525569
just follow the steps in app and it will install the latest available ROM for your device.
and believe, it will be the best, if you will keep phone in a "great shape"...
to keep phone in a "great shape" a bit harder...
you must NOT forget, that you have a budget (low-cost) phone.
so do NOT expect it will work same way as flagman phones...
the most important think you must remember is do NOT keep any not used apps (that you do not use every day. want to try smth? install it, try, and uninstall/remove)
and do NOT install apps on SD-card. never ever!.. it's simply slows you phone.
those rules just based on my experience in using 520 in everyday life.
