Hi
I have Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 LTE SM-T535.
Does anyone know a way or a device that will enable charging the tablet and connecting it to another device via OTG?
I have tried several devices/usb splitters in order to simultaneously charge the tablet while connecting it to an additional device via OTG. None of them worked. However, I succeeded to achieve that only once: The tablet was in charging and then when I connected it to another device, the tablet remain charging and I was able to use the connected device. So I know that i should be possible. Unfortunately, I failed to reproduces the same result.

Hello all,
I'm currently attempting to have my Nexus 7 be both connected to the internet via a USB to ethernet lead while also being charged.
I'm able to do each of these individually but when I attempt to use a random USB hub i have to hand I am unable to get both to work, the charging works but the ethernet does not.
When I connect straight through (OTG Cable to USB to ethernet converter) it works fine, however, when going through the USB Hub (with the power for charging disconnected) comms is achieved (ethernet switch is flashing) but I can't connect to the internet. This leads me to believe there is something specific I require for the USB hub.
Do I require the USB hub to be something special to enable this/ is this scenario even possible for me to achieve?
Cheers for the help.
Hey, I've had this problem with my s4 since I bought it used, but it hasn't bothered me that much, but I'm just curious.
The USB isn't acting as it should be, when I connect it to the pc, it doesen't always work as storage the first try, I have to connect it twice sometimes, pc says not recocnized device, but when I reconnect, it works properly.
Also, it doesen't charge with the charger it came with, and doesen't work with most of the chargers, only works with Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 charger.
I usually charge it off USB on pc, because I don't have the Galaxy Tab available most of the time.
Is this something that can be fixed via software, or is it faulty?
My wife has a Galaxy S5 with Foxfi purchased. I can use it on one computer and its fine. She tries to connect it to hers and it wont stay connected. I am using the cable that came with it and connecting to a usb 3.0 port. Any ideas what setting maybe different from on computer to the next? Hers is a Toshiba Satellite U840. I have a LG G2 I just tried and it works for a minute or two and then loses connection. Doesnt matter what usb port its connected to and I tried to look at all power settings on laptop.
I'm using Android Headunit Reloaded which uses a USB cable to connect between my phone and my 7" TabA. The tablet ends up charging the phone. I was wondering if there was a way to prevent this- or even better- to have a y-splitter OTG cable to charge the tab and one for the phone. I suppose this would require custom kernels?
Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.
I couldn't reach to wifi or Bluetooth download mode to change firmware, anyone has solution to connect via usb since the PC couldn't recognize the device or dock charger please ?
