Hi all,
I have an issue with VPN. Actually I am trying to use Data compression VPN named Neopard VPN but it disconnects every few seconds. I thought it could be particular issue. So I tried various others namely Onovo extend, Speed VPN, etc. But the results were the same. They all would disconnect every few seconds. Without establishing VPN my data connection is completely fine. If anyone is using Neopard/Onovo extend, your help will be appreciated.
[Solved] : Update to CM12S resolved this issue.

Hello,
I'm using JBED (v. 02.2008 downloaded from this site) on my Axim x50v.
I noticed whenever an applet tries to connect to the Internet (via BT via phone/gprs) it gets disconnected very often. At least 5 tries are required before the phone actually connects to the Internet and still I get disconnected randomly.
The phone, connection, network coverege, is definately not an issue here. Besides the very same applets work perfect using jeodeck (no problems connecting, no sudden disconections).
I recon the problem may be a short waiting time before connection retry, which is somehow set within JBED.
Anyone has any idea how to solve this problem??
Best regards

Yeah, I have the same problem .
Hey
I've seen similar threads based on android handsets however this is a WP7 based HTC 7 Trophy.
I will be using WiFi fine for a few days without any issues of it connecting when it should (when it awakes from lock) however every now and then my WiFi will just stop reconnecting and then fail to connect from then on.
I've tried:
Deleting and re-adding the network / password
Power Cycle the Phone
Power Cycle the Modem/Router
the only solution that worked ONCE was that I re-made the network on the router itself and reconfigured all my computers and mobiles in the house to use the new network however this is a pain and didn't solve the problem this time.
Thanks in advance.
UPDATE #1: Creating a second wireless network on my router works fine, seems this has something to do with that specific network :/
So I'm having this problem with my internet, not entirely sure what the problem seems to be. I never seemed to have this problem with windows 7 but whenever I'm on the internet for a certain amount of time, it stops working and it says limited on the router name. Does anybody else seem to have this problem and if so how did you fixed it because it's irritating disconnecting and connecting every hour or so.
HI There,
Does anyone encountered issues with VPN?
I'm using L2TP (PSK) to connect my VPN gateway. The connection succeeds. After few seconds (approx 30 seconds), the phone freezes. Either it reboots itself or the screen goes blank. To get it back working, I have to press POWER+VOL-DOWN button and from the recovery option, I need to choose reboot.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Hmm, I know this doesn't help you specifically, but I do not see this issue. So at least you know it shouldn't happen. I'm using L2TP/IPSec (PSK) and my phone does not freeze. I have the W8 variant, on stock PD3 firmware.
I think you may be best off to run logcat to see what happens up to when it freezes, hopefully it will contain the data. Both Vpn and LegacyVpnRunner appear to be valid, although you may not want to filter it to only Vpn related results..
+1 Same Issue, Same Phone
remove you vpn app from samsung's battery monitor. it worked for me.
I have a problem with WiFi. I m using mokee7.1.2 14may build. Whenever I play online games like mini militia, the WiFi gets automatically disconnected. On reconnecting it takes a lot of time and sometimes fail to connect giving a message 'password may be incorrect'. Please help me. Is this the problem of my WiFi router or my phone or the rom?
