[ROM] Huawei u8650 GGR Next Gen

So here is the New Rom for your Huawei U8650.
The Rom was tested for 3 weeks and so far has no bugs, the rom is fast and stable, it's based on 2.3.5 Huawei rom, with OC kernel up to 780MHz, it also have app2sd.
I has 360 launcher added so thanks to the original uploader
I assume that everybody knows how to root and custom recovery the U8650 if not just search my other post.

How To Install:
1) Boot in recovery
2) Wipe data/cache/dalvik
3) Partition SD 128 Ext and 64 Swap (Partitioning SD erase data on SD, so BACKUP)

What recovery do you use???

I'm a complete newbie.
I'm not sure, how do I find out ?
All I did was install the standard ROM by downloading it, copy it to the sd card and restarting whilst pressing Vol+, Vol- & the power button on my U8650.
Then I rooted it by restarting whilst holding down Vol+ & Power and then selecting the root.zip.
After that I tried the same with your zip !!
That's all I've done since I've had the phone.

Hello i have encountered only 1 problem with your rom (or is it my mistake?) and it's about mobile internet.I can't get it to function ... It can find all available and says it has registered on the one I want but then there's no internet...some1 pls help

I had a similar problem.
Eventually, I figured out that I had to manually add the APN.
This is done in
Setting - Wireless & Networks - Mobile networks - Access Point Names

Unable To Unlock Bootloader

Hi,
Have been an owner of an M9+ for a few months now and it's taken me this long to not manage to unlock the bootloader so have caved in and decided to ask nicely for some help / advice.
Firstly, I live in the UK. I bought the handset from Fonis who are located in Dubai (best price, unlocked to any network, etc, etc) so am assuming this handset has got nothing to do with Verizon?
Problems..... the check box for 'allow OEM unlock' is not there. Doesn't exist. There is nothing in Developer Options to do with OEM.
When I boot the phone into Download Mode my pc does not detect it so am unable to proceed in getting the identifier token thingymabob.
Things I have done.... enabled dev options, enabled usb debugging, downloaded all the adb / fastboot stuff, shouted a lot and referred to the handset as a s teaming pile of s**t.
So, am I being extremely thick here and missing something obvious? Have I bought a complete donkey of a handset? (Fonis have good reviews online and that along with the price was a deciding factor in using them).
If anyone can help, great. If any further intel is needed then ask and I shall provide.

Do you have HTC sync latest installed? That contains the USB driver for the phone for fastboot to work

Yep, latest version of sync is installed. When I open HTC Sync with the phone connected to the PC while in download mode Sync states 'no phone connected'.
Have tried different usb leads and different usb ports but nothing is happening.

If you didn't try, maybe try connecting device, remove/uninstall driver of phone device instance in Device manager, reconnect and see if it installs correct driver. Sometimes wrong driver sticks with the phone device, if it was connected before HTC sync installed.

In developer options (in settings) you have to enable the bootloader unlock.

Hi, as stated in my original post, that option is not on my phone, it doesn't exist.

A7 ( 2016 ) Service mode

Dear all
I just get a A7 from a Asian friend.. byt it doesn support the Band 4 of LTE in my country.
Is any way to enable the band 4.
I read in internet that the service mode is a way to enable this. with *#0011# ( that in fact goes to a service mode screen ) but different with the tutorials.. the phone shows
[1] STACK 1
[2] STACK 2
Intead the signal information.....
So i try with <BACK> <Q0000> and <BACK> Q <BACK> 0000 in this menu
also i try inside [2] and [1].. nothing seem to work and go to the "Service options!"
Does anyone know how to acces this menu in A7 2016.. or if there any other way to enable the missing LTE Bands?

you have to be root. I have the same problem some time ago I tried this method, but it did not work.

As soon i forbid the guarantee i;ll root and try angain.. meanwhile anyone one can confirma that being root is the cause the service mode menu is disable?

i work a lot in this in my phone.. i finally get how to enter Service mode in A7(2016)
first i go root in the phone .. second part i install phone Info that has the option enter Service Mode in root mode.
But seems that the Network I need to unlock is disable in the NV of the phone, so i need to modify .. i went to the post and try to follow th options.
the problem i found is that the A7 ( 2016 ) is unable to be detected in diagnotic mode
I setup USB options *#0808# to any DM opiton ( Diagnotic mode ) and is supposed to be recognized as USB Diagnostic USB .., but it didin;t work with Normal Samsung USB Drivers.. 1.5.60 do you have any clue on what happening?

Hey,guy. I have a new way which may unlock All Network mod .i think You should have a try.(need root)
1.Download Root explorer
2.Go to the contexts :system/csc
3.find out the the file :customer.xml
4.mod the premission like the following pic.
5.reboot And Go to setting you Now can choose LTE mode.

[SOLVED] Unlock BTV-DL09, problem modem

Hello everybody.
I wanted to unlock an BTV-DL09 [ Android 7 EMUI 5.04 EU ], but I'm stuck like the_wing was.
Modem no found !
Phew, got it unlocked! Moments of terror when entering the commands on the cmd...
A few mentions where I got stuck that may help someone else:
Regarding point 3:
In case your model has LTE (i.e. BTV-DL09), you actually should have a dialer application that you have to use instead of the calculator app, which didn't work for me. This is also mentioned in the DC unlocker app. In case you do it with the dialer, you have to enter following code: *#*#2846579#*#*
Regarding point 4:
Inside the "DC unlocker" app, I also got the "device not found" error, and I was wondering why. Two things I noticed:
- To enable USB debugging, it was not sufficient for me to activate the switch in the developer options, as the default USB mode for me is "charging only". I had to change it to i.e. "Device File Manager (MTP)" by tapping on the notification and then re-activate USB debugging in the developer options (which turned off after switching to MTP mode) to get USB debugging working.
- After enabling "manufacturer mode", the mode was turned off as soon as I quit the menu. So I had to stay in the menu to make sure manufacturer mode is on.
- You can check your device manager in Windows to see if the current mode is active: When doing USB debugging, the device "Android Composite ADB Interface" should show up under "Android Phone" list, whereas when you turn on manufacturer mode, some COM ports should show up under "Ports (COM and LPT)"; the one DC unlocker is searching should be named "Android Adapter PCUI". If you got some devices with not properly installed drivers you should consider installing HiSuite software on Windows first.
Regarding point 8
- When I bought the credits for DC unlocker for PayPal, I had to click on a link arrived to the PayPal e-mail for confirming your account. I then still got the "Server login error", but closing and reopening DC unlocker eventually fixed it.

I have installed Hisuite and Huawei data card driver.
Impossible to activate Device File Manager (MTP) and manufacturer mode, one deactivates the other, I do not know if this is the problem, but according to the tutorials it is a must.
I have a hard time understanding where the problem comes from, I even tested different USB cable, Win 7 and Win 10, I really did everything, but I'm dried.

I finally managed to unlock the bootloader, DC unlocker did not show me information from the tablet, but despite this, I could go to the next step and proceed with the unlocking, it is because of a msie security update according to Valdemaras on cd-unlocker forum, thanks to him.

i have a mecool m8s pro i have tried to find a way to re install the latest firmware to update my box which hasnt been up dated since i bought it about 2018
i have googled the firmware but if i try to download it my pc says its infected .

just tried to flash this rom and everything looked ok but when it boots up is says aidens custom rom then just hangs on a black screen with Android tv on tried to re flash but now it wont connect to my pc ?

guess you need to format userdata (aka factory reset) do you have access to fastboot/bootloader mode or recovery mode?

no tried holding the reset button when powering up but nothing happens
it wont even show anything on the screen now the remote control wont turn it on and off

remote only works on booted android. connect usb to PC and check the VID/PID in device manager (or lsusb linux)

what is the output of lsusb for every port?

cant get the box to connect to pc nothing happens no sound to say its connected
started device manager with it plugged in but nothing shows up ?

you should at least get to the previous state splash screen as of post #4. did you power off completely? as last resort there is a method with short-circuiting pins for flashing mode. search for AmLogic bricked boxes recovery.
