With some music players, Spotify to name one, I can listen to music during a phone call, once the headphones are plugged in.
I wonder why this is not possible, during bluetooth external speaker playback.

I am new to BT audio, but I have come across something very strange. I have a new Motorola S9 BT headset and a Cingular 8525. I have been able to make and receive calls, pause and skip songs in Media Player 10, but I had an awful time trying to make stereo play on the headset. It delivers system beeps, alerts, and ActiveSync tones to the headset. After some hard-resets, and some troubleshooting, I found this combination does indeed deliver very nice sound quality (without the A2DPfix). The problem is that it doesn't send AAC (.m4a) songs to the BT headset. I realize that there is only limited support for AAC, (WMP doesn't recognize the META data from them) but it does play them thru the phone speaker.
Why would WMP play some formats thru the BT headset and others thru the speaker?
not sure but you can use tcpmp with aac plugin
When my car stereo connects to the hero, it automatically starts to stream audio files through the built-in player. How can I disable this association? I would prefer it automatically stream from pandora. I end up having to pause the audio and then opening pandora. Then, when I turn off the car, the audio player un-pauses itself and starts playing audio through the phone's speaker. It's a pain, since I then have to find the media player and pause it again.
Suggestions?

anyone else get this? I'm ok for all other audio on the headset. phone, lastfm, fm tunes, mp3s etc.
I noticed this yesterday playing netflix through the bluetooth stereo in my car. Music audio came through just fine, movie audio played through the onboard speaker.
It is a known issue/problem. Hopefully will be fixed during next update.
That's great. I was speaking of specifically porting to BT headphone from a mp4 file on the device
Here's the scenario -
I have a bluetooth car audio transmitter. When I'm playing music in my car, the audio is transmitted to it and on to the cars speakers.
As it stands, when i get a call, the call is also played through the speakers.
I also have a bluetooth headset.
Question -
Is it possible to set up the phone so that when playing music it plays through the car audio and when on a call it routes to my bluetooth earpiece?
Any and all suggestions/solutions welcome.
Hi.
When I connect to the car stereo bluetooth, music automatically starts whether my default is Play music or Samsung's Music thingy.
After every function like pressing the voice recognition to make a call - the music starts at the end of the call even if I wasn't listening to music prior to making the call.
I basically can't stop the thing playing Music whenever it feels like it.
Any ideas?
