i'm not yet rooted maybe its the tweak that you just installed? try removing the recent tweak or rooted app you installed
roaring from the beast NOTE 4(N910C)

Root does not cause lag...its what you do with root that causes it...clearly you havent done the right things...i sugggest you jog your memory, uninstall all the stuff you tried after rooting...and then check if it lags

the optical reader app

so one thing that really bugs me that the samsung galaxy note 3 comes without the optical reader app that was on the s4 .. so I wanted to know is there any way to get this application rooted or unrooted , i am currently unrooted but if there is a way to get it rooted i will root but i strongly prefer unrooted because i am afraid to brick my phone or something .. I really need this app because i travel a lot at this time and i was lookig forwared to seeing it on the note 3 since the s4 but i was disappointed
Abbyy text grabber might be worth a look. So far as I understand it Samsung license the ocr technology from them anyway.

Lol that blue line isnt from this app. Its battery bar, you might have flashed a mod.

That's the problem that the line isn't from that app. Because signature recognition failed and mod cannot be installed. I think it is some sign of fail to installing update via stock recovery. For verify by the service centre. Just like knox counter.

Ok I didn't know if it would mess anything up if I updated to 4.4
Sent from my Galaxy S4

Why is 4.4.2 slower?

I just updated to 4.4.2 and rooted it but it feels bit laggy. Is it a problem with rom or its just me?
I heard someone saying the same on someother forum.

what does 'Half-root' mean?

Im asking because I keep hearing people say its possible to 'half-root' lolipop on the galaxy note 3, but I have no idea what that means. I wouldnt mind having lolipop if it means I can run applications which require root or run xposed module
It has no meaning and makes no sense far as I am concerned.
It means temporary root

Well this is not the place you want. A 2 generations out of date EOL device board that is not even close to the same device...
Did you try googleing if your device has a root method it is a rather obscure Euro only device.
first result i got
