Hello!
I have a Nexus 4 and I saw now that I can see squares in the screen of the Nexus when it turned off.
I can really see them clearly.
What is that? Is my Nexus 4 is defective?

its not defective unless your touchscreen is not working..
those lines that look like circuits are the touch sensor or something like that..... you can only see then with the screen off and in the right angle...

Is there a Nexus 4 phone that the pattren is less visible?
I compared with a friends phone and his does not have this pattren so clearly.
Btw,
If I change the phone's gamma with a kernel and then I back to stock, the colors goes back to the original?
And if I undervolt the phone and then I go back to stock, the settings of volt goes back to the original?
Is changing the colors can damage the screen in the long term?
We just got a new nexus 4 in the family today, rev11, and it also has this chequered pattern visible with the screen off. We have 2 original rev10's that don't have this.
Guess it's supposed to be like that.

How to know on which one am I ? I just bought the phone some like 2 weeks back. But didn't from play store, but rather from a local re seller.

Boot to the boot loader.. From power powered off state, press volume down button, then press it again with the power button and hold them both down until the boot loader screen comes up. There you can see what revision your phone is.
Gang, I have kind of an odd question and don't know where else to ask.
Does anyone here know if the LCD connectors on Galaxy phones are universal? I ask because I have a Note 3 with bad LCD. The owner has pics on it but it also has a 4 digit lock. They don't want to spend $200 on a new screen just want the pics.
Basically I just need a screen connected long enough to unlock the phone and get the pics off. I see this as my only option unless someone here has a cracked screen that still works they would be willing to sell/send to me.
Thank you!
Chris

I don't think so.
I had the same problem and for example the connector of S3 is longer then the g7102 one.
And they could have different coordinates of touch screen
I recently buyed a second hand note 3 sm-n9005. It's good. It's a very good phone, but i have some doubts. I think that the screen was broken and replaced. How can i know for sure if it was changed? Thank you!! I hope it's not.
Hi.
I'm from Portugal. My s7 edge screen had some pink stripes on it and i already know that its a faulty screen. But recently i had broke my screen. So i think the terms of screen replacment could not be apllied now. Correct me if im wrong.
So, could someone tell me where i can get a new screen? I know its asking too much but i only can find screens for 290€. It possible to grab one with a lower cost? Thank you

Hi,
My Note FE' s screen glass broke. I had a motorbike accident...I live in Spain and the phone is the Malaysian version SM-N935F. I'm not able to get a new screen in Spain. I just found in Ebay a store where sell new displays for Note 7/FE. If I buy a display for the note 7 SM-N930 will work In the note FE?
Thank you

I also thought that is pretty much the same phone except for the battery. And that's the problem in this case. Somebody told me that the battery size is different and that is why I can't use Note 7 display, because it won't match exactly.
Here is the link to see the screen.
