I wanted to purchase a new phone under 15000 inr .I have choice between Galaxy S3 neo , Galaxy E5. (S4 from amazon is not available for delivery at my place,so i can't purchase it). s3 neo is available for inr 10500 and e5 for inr 14000 as there is extra 10% off. Suggest which will be best. Please also tell me what are the differnce between between two phones.does e5 have remote control,knox and we can use only one sim at a time in e5 ??

Should i go for s3 neo ?
If you want better battery, bigger screen and better front camera go for E5, if you want better cpu, gyro, compass, faster proccessor , NFC, radio go for S3 neo.

I want one in which the development is good.
I have not seen any forum of galaxy e5 so far.
In which device there will be more and better roms.
Is there anyone who will port ressurection remix rom for s3neo .
I published sources and everybody is free to compile ROM using them. I dont have time to maintain multiple roms, i am maintaining CM 11,12 and soon 12.1
I dont know how development will be on e5 since that phone just came out, s3 neo is out for long time

S3 neo have better cpu and faster processor than e5 ?
I don't matter bigger screen and little difference in battery .
But i want rear camera to be good . and front to be average.
The only thing i like in e5 is its looks and body

hey first of all software mobile samsung galaxy e5 is better because it has the latest touchwiz interface mobile s3 neo has old and if it has lots of other features which are very useful
camera of s5 is better
if you want to use dual sim and add a microsd card then you should go for a thing you s3 neo because in e5 1 slot is for sim card and in the other one you can either add a sim card or micro sd card
difference is that s3 neo has notification led while e5 does not have a notification led

Buying galaxy s4 in 2015
S4 is still an amazing device when s4 was released it was 42,000rs in india and in 2015 it is 17,800rs which is same as price for galaxy e5

Photography
Gaming a bit
Performance
And main is moding,rooting and flashing roms
From what I can see. the S4 has better specs. The E5 only offers a 1.2 quad-core and 1.5 GB ram. Unless the E5 has newer technology (which would give it an advantage), the S4 is better.
I also think that the S4 has more support in terms of modding, rooting and flashing stuff.
Just make sure to get the GT-I9505 if possible. It seems to be more active than the GT-I9500
Hmm...I thought he posted a typo there and was asking about the S4 vs the S5. Comparing the E5 to the S4, here's what you'd be giving up. The E5 does not have LTE, being limited to HSPA+. The screen resolution and density are lower than the S4 (720x1280, 294ppi vs 1080x1920, 441dpi). Each device has a quad-core CPU, but each core of the E5 is slower than the S4 (1.2GHz vs 1.9GHz). Internal storage is the same, but RAM is only 1.5GB, versus the 2.0GB in the S4. The E5 camera is an 8MP shooter while the S4 has 13MP. However, this isn't necessarily a bad thing, as the E5 should actually take better pictures in lower light situations.
The S4 is the clear winner in every category. Even against the S5 it still holds its own. While the S5 does have a faster processor, slightly larger screen, and a beefier camera, the improvements are not significant enough to compel S4 owners to upgrade. People who never had a S4 however would benefit, or they can wait for the S6, which should become available in a couple months or so.

hey guys, need a bit of help here. Help me choose between these 2 models. On one hand, S4 is a 2013 flag ship, mi 4i is 2015 flagship.
Specwise, both have 13mp camera, 441 ppi, 5 inch display.

I think Mi4i is not a flagship phone. more like mid range. I would pick the mi4i except if the samsung galaxy s4 variant is i9506
well thats how xiaomi is selling it.... it has specs to be a flagship atleast ..... and price is 5K lesser than S4 ( in India ).. and we get I9505 in India...

my bad .. i just saw , they sell I9500 here in india ... and Xiaomi is saying they have sony/samsung 13mp camera in mi4i

maybe i'm mistaken, but i own an i9505 and the camera in cm12/12.1 it's a shame, so in this point i don't see dev support
Any day go for s4 if you have money and if not go for mi4i... Xiaomi phones have specs only but overall experience is not good I had xiaomi mi3 sold it in a week the feel was very cheap kind of phone and the beauty of super amoled screen is way ahead... You'll feel the difference when both phones side by side and above all the camera of xiaomi is very bad though they say these lens that aperture they agree just textbook stuff iPhone 8mp is far better than xiaomi 80 mp.. That's the difference when you pay more you get better stuff

while the real one equals roughly 655 US $ worth

to give them the feel and look of NOTE 4
I guess you get what you pay for..Good luck finding a custom recovery or ROM for that. And remember, if you brick it, its a $120 paperweight
