[Q] Missing Mobile network settings=>>Access Point Names- after flashing CM11. - Droid RAZR M Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Team,I have Droid Razr M xt907 CDMA/GSM universal unlocked mobile, system version is 182.46.10.XT907,Android version-4.2.2.I have rooted it with Towel root & unlocked bootloader with Motopocalypse.I am usingCDMA network .For using Data I have to enter APN settings- >in Mobile network settings.I have installed customer recovery TWRP 2.7.1.0 using flashify & install CM11.i do factory reset while flashing CM11.
Now the Data is not working on my mobile. The Mobile networks-> option is not showing in wireless & networks-> option,so I can not enter the APN on my mobile.
The mobile signal OK ,I can do call & received calls but internet is not Working when I enable Mobile Data on my mobile.
But Data is working fine if I use Stock Rom & enter APN settings.
Pls help to Enable Data on my mobile .Any help is really appreciated.

Should be under "Settings" > "WiFi and networks" > "more" > "mobile networks" > "Access point names".
If not, they are probably missing in your specific build; use another APN app from Google Play etc. instead. If it still doesn't work, consider using a stable system.

Sorry i have installed CM11 not CM12 :crying:
Settings" > "WiFi and networks" > "more" > "mobile networks" > "Access point names".
The above option is not there.I have installed CM11 Snapshot as well as nightly but still i am not getting APN option.
1) Can you suggest best App in play store in which i will able to choose Settings" > "WiFi and networks" > "more" > "mobile networks" > "Access point names".
2) If the Play store App does not work then which CM build you suggest in which i get>>
mobile networks" >> "Access point names option?

Team, i once again factory reset the phone & install CM11,now the Mobile networks->option is visible & i m able to add APN settings.:silly:

Loss of 3g/data after Unlock

Hey guys. After I rebooted after bootloader unlock, I am unable to connect to data. Any ideas as to how to fix this?
Set youre apn

I know this sounds crazy, but I had the same problem and I had to re-freeze apps using Ti b/u.
I selected different APNs and even used an app to import all new ones.

I don't have TI on here because it wiped the apps, and I have to way of downloading it. I tried flashing a radio and it did not work. How do I set up an APN?
Ugh, try resetting your APNs or w/e?
Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Mobile Networks - > Access Point Names -> Menu -> Reset to Default
Same thing happened to me. Then I installed HKTW 2.3.4 and got my data back.

(-101) Market Download Problem Fixed

Because of 10 message limit I could'nt open this thread in dev. section. First you must flash gappsv6.zip in CWM recovery mode. Next you must open the device to homescreen. When you click the market icon it doesn't start. After that restart again to CWM recovery and you must flash gappsv7.1 or gappsfixer. This solves market download (-101) problem. I only tried Android 4.0.3
Thanks bro
please could you upload the files that you use?

For me i worked only to flash gapps fixxer with CWM, reboot.
At restart Market dosn´t open, flash gapps7.1 with CWM, reboot and the set up you g account again.
Done!
(using westcrisp v0.4)
even Faceunlock works after that. No other fixxes required!
Is that works or not? Someone who tries (except me ) please writes it down
I had the same and asked Google support. This is what they suggested and it helped:
Hi Sebastian,
Thanks for contacting us. To resolve this issue, I recommend temporarily
uninstalling Market updates. To do so, please follow these steps:
Android 1.6-2.1:
1. Go to "Home" > "Menu" > "Settings" > "Applications" > "Manage
applications"
2. Press "Menu," then touch "Filter'" > "All"
3. Scroll down and select the Market app
4. Touch "Uninstall updates"
Android 2.2 or higher:
1. Go to "Home" > "Menu" > "Settings" > "Applications" > "Manage
applications"
2. Touch the "All" tab
3. Scroll down and select the Market app
4. Touch "Uninstall updates"
This will revert Android Market to the original version that came with
your device. Android Market should automatically self-update to the
current version within a few days - there's no way to permanently
uninstall Market updates. However, you can perform the following steps to
ensure the latest version of Android Market is updated properly:
1. Launch Android Market
2. Switch to the Home screen
3. Wait 5-10 minutes for Market to self-update
4. Re-launch Market
To check your version of Android Market:
1. Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications
2. Touch the All tab
3. Scroll down and select Market
Also, please make sure you've cleared the cache and data of both the
Market app and the Download manager. Here's how:
1. Visit Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications
2. Tab over to "All"
3. Select the Market app, and then tap "Clear cache" and "Clear data"
For the Download manager:
1. Visit Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications
2. Tab over to "All"
3. Select "Download manager," and then tap "Clear data" and "Clear cache"
Please note that after clearing Market data, if you have set a PIN code
and/or a content filter, you'll need to re-apply these settings. If you
have any additional questions, or if the problem persists, please don't
hesitate to let me know.
Best Regards,
Rebekah

[Q] Tasker

Hi,
I've got a problem with the app tasker.
I am rooted without using SuperSU over cm12.1.
Tasker won't detect my root access.
What should I do?
Secure setting plugin is installed...
I've tried to manage the mobile data via secure settings plugin but it doesn't do the trick neither...
any suggestions?
Go into Settings > About and tap the build number several times, until you get a notification saying "You are now a developer!"
Then go back to the main settings screen and look for Developer options. Go into developer options and look for Root acces. Tap on that and set it to Apps. Or set it to apps and adb. Done. Otherwise just install SuperSU from the playstore

I've already enabled root access via CM.
That wasn't the problem.
I found a solution if anyone stumbles on that thread:

Tethering on t-mobile fermware on sm-g530t1

I figured out a way to Wi-Fi tether successfully on the SMG - 530t1 using the T Mobile firmware. This only works if you have a rooted device.
The first thing that you will have to do is go to the Play Store, and download an application that can convert user apps to system apps.. after that, you will have to look for the application APN manager and install it. Then open the system app mover and move the APN Manager to the system partition. After this, restart your phone. After your phone is restarted, open APN manager, and you will find an apn called T Mobile tethering or something of that sort. Select the check mark next to it, and press on the menu more options or the four dots on the bottom of your screen AND PRESS ON DELETE. After this you can tether without any issues

APN Settings are normal..
But cannot use the internet
Make sure APN is normal, then reboot. If nothing works, try to wipe dalvik cache and cache. Boot may take a while. Once it opens, check if Mobile Data works. If not, disable, enable. If not again, delete APN, create APN, make it active, reboot.
Waiting for your reply.
