Anybody notice that in smart lock, there is no smart face and on body detection. Even in the lockscreen settings there is no face lock option. Iam running lollipop 5.01 stock rom gt-i9500. Am i the only one experiencing this issue or what can be done about it

I am having problem with my galaxy s4 when unlocking it from the lockscreen.. I just recently purchased it this week.
When I lock the screen and try to unlock it, most of the time it takes a while for it to let me unlock the screen.
I have search through google of anyone else has this issue but there seems to be none.
does anyone have an explanation about this issue? or is it normal?
This is definitely not a normal behavior. First, did you install any apps that may slow it down? If not, then try updating the rom (software update in the settings screen), and if it still doesn't help you may want to use the warranty to get another device.

Hi all
I have Echoe v20 rom flashed on my S4 lite which is working great, but when I press fingerprint icon in settings phone stops settings
Is there a fix for fingerprint in settings or is it because s4 phones do not have built in software/hardware to get it working
any reply helpful

This should be pretty obvious, right?
Galaxy s4 does not have finger print scanner hardware, this is why you get force close, so, no fix, other than friedrich & Co removing it from the S5 settings menu.

my auto rotation doesnt seem to be working. it just stop working and sometimes comes back if i reboot and sometimes doesnt. i first experienced it on a touchwiz rom, so i decided to flash an aosp rom and still the issue persists. i also tried some solutions i found after searching but none worked either.one thing i do knw is i dropped my phone a few days ago. could it be possible that the drop damaged the sensors that control phone orientation? any one have any suggestions on how to fix it?

My I9500 keeps flashing the S-view screen randomly when connected to a 2g network and it's pretty annoying. Is there a custom ROM that hasn't implemented the s-cover yet and is more or less stable?
You can use the Xposed module: Magnetoff
That should fix your issues.

Yeah. It somewhat works. But the ROM gets stuck sometimes on sview screen only when on lock screen (once a week maybe). Anyway to disable it on art runtime?

My old device was an lg g3 (d855), when the alarm on the phone rang it did as well on my lg g watch r and i was able to snooze or turn it off through my watch (also worked with my old galaxy s3, only tried it with cyanogenmod there though and no stock rom).
With the s7 the alarm doesn't trigger anything at the watch. May i miss a setting somewhere or does anyone know a way to get the alarm of the stock clock app of the s7 ringing and more important the possibility to turn it off/snooze it at my watch as well?

Found an simple and obvious solution myself, the Google stock clock app can be downloaded through the play store and works.
