Now to the calibration
First thing you need kernel thet Allows calibration i use rockz1 kernel.
and color control apk.
1
To calibrate the brightness
Use Brightness image
When the image on the screen
in Color control
You set with switch
VALUE
Until you see all the shades of White in the picture .
2
To calibrate the contrast
use the contrast image
in color control app
You set with switch
contrast
And adjust the image until you see all the different shades of black.
3
To calibrate the Color saturation and hue
When calibrate this
the Screen should be in a blue color filter
Change the value
Red color 0
Green color 0
blue color 255
( It temporarily )
use the color and tint image
And you set the
Color saturation
and
hue
in color control app
So that Of blue merge evenly
In squares.
When reaching the desired result
Bring up back in color control app
RED to 255
green to 255
And the screen is now properly calibrated

Share your KCAL Colour Settings :)
Hi All Kindly share KCAL settings here ..... Kernel - M5 My settings R - 255 G - 250 B - 245 Minimum - 35 Saturation - 50 Value - 120 Contrast - 128 Hue - 0 i hope we found something use full like this > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59262965&postcount=412 Thanks
KCAL is one of the best things to happen on this phone. Much more useful than XReality which was slow to react and was very limited. With KCAL, global setting is possible for both accuracy lovers and for people preferring colours that pop. Right now, I have set mine for clean whites and saturated colours to relive my Samsung days: R - 255 G - 250 B - 245 Minimum - 35 Saturation - 70 Value - 135 Contrast - 135 Hue - 0
I guess this only works on custom kernels?

HotKillerZzz said: Do you use any white balance settings too? Xperia Z2 D6503 with AndroPlus Kernel Click to expand... Click to collapse The RGB values affect the white balance. Also, I have found that leaving the values of Value and Contrast at 128 and keeping the saturation at 70 gave better AMOLED like colours without being too garish like my previous settings.

My minimum width is at 685 dp on screen zoom of 3/5 If you didnt edit that setting then it is stock You can try to change screen zoom then go back to previous setting, minimum width will get reset
