Both the Galaxy S6 and its curvy sibling will be available on all four major U.S. carriers and in retail locations like Best Buy, Amazon, Target, Walmart, Costco and Sam's Club. Sprint
Sprint has confirmed that it will offer both devices through its leasing program. The Galaxy S6 with 32GB of storage can be had for $80 a month, which covers both the service and device cost. The Galaxy S6 Edge will cost $85 a month. Sprint customers can upgrade to the 64GB model for $5 extra a month, or $10 more for the 128GB model. Sprint's Boost Mobile prepaid arm is offering the Galaxy S6 starting at $650 without a contract. The carrier didn't announce pricing for devices purchased on a two-year contract or at full retail.
Why AT&T gets away charging $85 more than Verizon baffles me. But hey at least higher storage capacities are available and it's not just 32gb. Why we can't have the emerald green and blue variants I'll never understand.
Oy... I wasn't in pain until I saw the full $$$ amount of the 128 Edge in writing.
Oh well... better make a stiff drink and go ahead and get this out of the way -_-
anybody else mad we only get 3 colors?
and on top of that verizon is only doing black and white.
why can't samsung just sell devices on their website, this **** is annoying.
Looks like AT&T'S pre-orders are live. Not sure how long but I just went to att.com and noticed

I'm mad and simultaneously happy.
I was getting nowhere on deciding between the Emerald S6 Edge and the Black Sapphire, but seeing as the Emerald one isn't even a choice, it made the decision easier lol.
Of course, I might end up buying the Emerald one and selling the Black Sapphire depending... but for now, I'm good.
I'm also a little salty that AT&T didn't bother throwing in a wireless charging pad with pre-orders or something. Considering the price of the phone (and the fact that Best Buy is offering the the pad for pre-orders) they really could have thrown people a bone. Especially since it appears they decided to put their damn branding on the back of the device -_-
I did some digging and found the sprint prices for 2 year agreement by logging into my account and going to shop for phones.
32 gb $199.99
64 gb 349.99
128 gb 449.99
That's a little steep imo for the 64 gb one. I don't know about you guys.

Exactly so annoying...every other manufacturer does that. It's like Samsung is fully bent over back to carriers.

According to Sprint's website, the prices are actually
$199/$299/$399
$299/$399
for the standard and edge respectively. Looks like the 128GB Edge might not be happening though?
I thought we were finally at a point last year when storage bumps were $50 instead of $100.

As a Canadian here, I only get black and white.. no matter what carrier it's from.
I'll cry with you all.
Does anyone why AT&T charges more it's not their phones are any different

Because they can. No other reason. They do it to raise the cost of the monthly installment payments.

That's odd. Maybe the upgrade prices are different from purchase prices. I double checked and it still shows what I posted.

I've got melting plastic in my wallett, itching to be used. Given the prices from last week, £360 for a Galaxy Tab, I was trying to resist til the 14th to make my decision.
But today I though, nah, must have one. Playback my DivX... Hooked up the two websites and...
Nope, that's me put off for a while.
Carphone Warehouse want £399.
Tesco Direct want £449.
Clove want £442
Expansys want £499
PC World want £407
Amazon want £408
Scan £450
Ahh well. Looks like Im waiting for the Galaxy Tab 2
try bestbuy.co.uk, main page says 399, but further down it mentions other deals, such as tab+16gig upgrade+pay as you go sim for 359
There going for $250 on contract in the U.S.
I got mine for $50 from TMOUS! Great deals to be had stateside.
Sent from my HD7 using Board Express
rumors say the tab 2 will be a 10inch

how did you get it for $50 Pittphan? i'm also looking to pick one up on contract. if i can get it less than the advertised $250 on t mobile i'd love to do so. thanks!
i just check tmo's site and it's increased $100 off contract. last week i was considering getting another galaxy tablet and it was listed as $500 off contract for about a month. now it's back up to $600 off contract - you do get $50 off if you order online though.
actually it seems the price changes depending on what page you view -
prepaid is $600 plus web discount of $50 off. LINK
"normal" contract says retail is $500 LINK
kinda stupid to list the retail value differently for the same product.
http://www.engadget.com/2011/06/02/lte-galaxy-tab-10-1-gets-official-on-verizon-orders-start-june/
Info in the 4G GT 10.1 from Verizon. Pre-orders start June 8th, but no ship date mentioned yet.
"Verizon Wireless will offer two 4G LTE-enabled Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 models both priced with two year customer agreements: $529.99 for the 16GB model and $629.99 for the 32GB model. For more information on the Samsung Galaxy Tab, go to: www.verizonwireless.com/galaxytab4glte."
Price seems a bit high considering it's with a 2 year contract. Hmm..
And more importantly, the linked page gives some basic specs, but makes no mention of micro SD (was assuming the 4G version might have this if the Wifi one doesn't).
microSD Card slot please?
Will there be a microSD card slot w/ this 4G version? If so, curse you Verizon/Samsung for you have successfully wooed me away from the WiFi only version!
DANG IT!!

I would go ahead a say that the price is insanely too high. So basically you are required to get a 2 year contract with almost no subsidized price incentive.
So the Verizon has moved to the next level of how far they can push the bar in their favor. You are now required to have a 2 year contract with all of its ETF glory to even have the privilege of purchasing a Galaxy 10.1 at near full price from them.
Wow, how far we have come from the options of full price but no contract or almost free but 2 years required. Excellent. Now we can only hope for this to be soaked up by debut ridden folks quickly....
The following is basically assumptions and guesses on my part.
I'm assuming Verizon is subsidizing about $200 on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G (that is what they subsidized on the Xoom). And the off contract price for the 16GB model is $730.
That means you are paying $230 for the 4G modem.
The Motorola Xoom for example costs $800 for the 3G/4G model and $600 for the wifi model. So you are paying $200 for it's 3G modem with free 4G upgrade later.
So the 4G modem in the Galaxy tab is only $30 more compared to the Xoom and you won't have to go through the hassle of shipping your tablet in for a 4G upgrade.
Also there is the possibility the 4G model has micro SD, so that might also be while the 4G model costs a bit more.
So the price seems a bit high, but maybe there is a reason for it. Just wish these carriers would subsidize more than $200 on these tablets. And I don't get why these modems add so much to the price of a tablet in the first place.
The big question is whether Verizon is going to deface the device with their logo....
price is right in line with the xoom as the OP mentioned.
nobody said tablets were or had to be cheap.
ipad 2 - 32gb - att/verizon - $729

Anyone wanting to pre-order an AT&T Note 3 at full price (no upgrade) can do so right from AT&T, or Best Buy, or Negri, for under $700 (before tax). Why in the world would this guy think he can get $1400 for the same phone?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Samsung-G...reless-NICE-/251343007877?hash=item3a8535f085
That listing is a mess. If the description is right, he's selling 2 so the pricing sounds right.

No, you cannot pre-order Gnote 3 right now for under $700 before tax. It is 724.99 no commitment pricing at AT&T before tax.
And secondly, this ebay listing is for 2 Gnote 3 which comes out to $700 each. Again, he is selling TWO Galaxy Note 3 devices.

My bad... I did not notice that he was selling two units for that price. Sorry.
I guess no one wanted it since it closed with 0 bids.
Paid 67.99 for my Note. $50 preorder then traded in a S4 ($200) + Best Buy gift card for purchasing the phone ($50) and had 17.99 remaining for taxes and activation.
Same here except i traded a Sanyo Zio......... worth like 2 cents............. no way were they getting my Note 3.........lol
Bought the 50 buck preorder gift card. Went to store to pick up phone (with a crap trade in) realized I forgot the card, they told me I could bring it in and refund it. Went to my local store to do and the manager said there's no way to do it. He offered to reimburse me the cost of the zag tempered glass though, which was 40 and I got to keep the 50 gift card. So after all that it was like 115 for the note plus a 50 buck gift card. Complicated but I feel good about the result.

Unless I'm really bad at math, you got $300 in promotions. The phone costs $720, so how did you only pay $67.99?
He upgraded with 2 year contract so out of pocket cost is 300. He paid 50 dollar for a gift card as a down-payment to pre-order. He traded in phone and got 200 towards phone so now cost is 100. Got additional 50 for purchasing phone. So cost is now 50 tack on his state taxes of 17.99 equals 67.99

How did you guys get additional $50 gift card for purchasing the phone? Mine $118 otd, $50 preorder + $200 trade in (htc hero).
Best buy gave additional 50. They advertised it
I sort of paid $79 for mine after taxes and deposit (or 109 with the Amazon phone I traded in).
There's the $50 deposit, $200 for trading in an HTC Hero (that I paid $30 for), $50 GC for buying a phone this year at BB.
I say sort of because I got a $700 credit in store for my Note 2 as well since I kept having hardware issues with 3 Note 2's within a week. That also got me a Galaxy Gear Neo 2, WB350 Camera, a few other other small things.
This is in the sprint section. What abt the Verizon model?
sent from your moms phone
Imma have to take a visit to Bestbuy and see if they can honored the $50 bucks.
where is this extra $50 gift card everyone is talking about being advertised? please link
I got the $200 gift card for my trade in but i have not seen anything about another $50 GC...

There's two that I've heard of. One is a $50 coupon for trading in a phone; supposedly not many have luck with that one since it double dips. There's another one that is for the BB Reward members from February or so who signed up and said they'd buy a phone this year; I got this one. They basically have this one every year and you get it as long as you sign up, and buy a phone within that year. It'll pop up when you give them the phone number for your RZ account.
Got my Note 4 todya for $25 thanks to the wonder that is icrap. thank you SO MUCH apple for my Note 4
Upgraded to Icrap 6. no. don't activate on my account. one moment.
Turns left. takes Note 4 and $250 from someone on craigslist hands random ifanboy new sealed Icrap 6.
Turns back to sprint rep. here activate this instead. thanks!
Mmmmmmmm Delicious Note 4. will do the same when Note Edge comes out as I have one more upgrade
Thanks to the 200 rebate from samsung and the 100 rebate from verizon government, I made a penny on the deal. Threw my note 3 up on ebay, that's just the icing on the cake.
Traded in Galaxy S3 $200 (Samsung promotion).
Traded in Note 3 got $250 (best buy rewards gave me additional $50).
Received $50 for upgrading w/ BestBuy (upgrade early sign up)
------------------------------------------------------------
$500 total
-$300 Note 4 (Sprint)
------------------------------
Made $200...Waiting for the new Fitbit Surge or Basis Peak...
Traded Epic 4G touch and got $200 gift card, so Note 4 cost me $99. (BB messed up my points several months ago and somehow I been in negative balance since then). I kept my Note 3 which I am giving to relative for free.
So you can get the LG G6 for 288 at Best Buy right now for Verizon. What are peoples guesses for the black Friday price of the LG G6? I just bought the LG G5 for 150 at Best Buy and really like it. I do like what the LG G6 has to offer and would upgrade if the price is right. The G6 seems to beat the pants off of the S8 when it comes to price.

I also jumped on the $288 deal last Friday and it's been a great experience. But when Black Friday rolls around I expect even better deals because the Note 8, iPhone 8, LG V30, PIxel 2 and Motorola phones will be out. I jumped on the $10 /month Black Friday Pixel deal last year and that phone was only out for a month. So no one here can predict what's going to happen on specific models. The Moto Z was actually down to $5 during that Pixel deal.
I don't see the G6 going below $288 within the next month or two (currently sold out at Best Buy) but I wouldn't be surprised if it hits $5 /month during Black Friday. I may end up with with 3 or 4 additional phones before the year ends depending on the deals. I still have my sights on a Note 8 and if I get it the G6 will be going to my son. But we will see.
Thanks for the heads up on the best buy vzw $288! I made it in just under the wire last night, it's back up to $480 (24x$20) today.

Nice glad you got one. It's a freaking awesome deal. I did not get one yet. I am going to wait till it goes down to 5-7 dollars and because im on Sprint.
I purchased mine from Verizon when it dropped to $20 a month. When BB dropped the price to $12 a month, I talked VZW into crediting me $8 a month for 24 months instead of returning it and re-purchasing it from BB.
My guess is you could see $10 a month next Black Friday.
Bought my black G6 off contract from T-Mobile for 549 euro`s. Living in the Netherlands (EU), have a sim-only T-Mobile Unlimited EU talk and data plan btw.
Just got one for 399$ of contract here in Switzerland. There was a special offer where you would get 200$ credit for buying a G6 and sending in any used phone. At first the G6 was 749$ but then they lowered the price to 599$ for the black version, too good of a deal to pass. Was using a G5 previously.
