I bought my unlocked z3 from expansys-usa and the only had 16gb versions. As far as I know, tmo was the first to offer the z3 with 32gb, So specs should have both 16 and 32, not just 32.
Well T-Mobile is the only one with 32GB and is carrier branded, so unless you bought the D6616 they have the correct specs as the TMO version only has 3 LTE Bands.... Most online stores will generally have the D6603 unbranded which is 16GB.

Today Samsung has released the details of SGSIII LTE and Galaxy Note 2 in Hong Kong. (But I'm more interested in S III), and preorder of both devices has started. Here are some notable points of it:
CPU: 1.4GHz quad-core (Sammy hasn't stated the model of the cpu, but it's likely to be exynos, i think)
RAM: 2GB
OS: Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
Radio: 4G LTE 800/1800/2600MHz + 2G, 3G and 3.5G
Color:Black and Silver. Yes! Black and Silver
Link(if you really want to see it. it's in Chinese:http://www.samsung.com/hk/galaxys3lte_preorder/)
It seems to be similar to the European GT-i9305 and Australian GT-i9305T. But on the page sammy stills called it i9300, which is confusing. So what do you think?
And it's not carrier-branded, and very likely to be international. So we're going to have really International models
(and most importantly, I've to think what device I'm going to buy again)
Ugh. Need an unlocked compatible with at&t lte. When samsung when?
need more high def music...
all phones in hong kong are unlocked, it is illegal to lock a phone in hong kong without proper reasons.
How's the LTE service in HK, nobody I know has LTE capable device.

A few carriers offer LTE in Hong Kong, but only one carrier (CSL) seems to be offering dual band LTE (1800 and 2600 mhz) as far as I know of. However, given the ridiculous population density and smartphone ownership percentage in Hong Kong, you are bound to get slowdowns from time to time.

majority of the hong kong's service providers like 3HK and pccw are preparing to support 1800, there are limitations on the 2600 bandwidth.
and the support of 1800 will be cheaper to upgrade.
Which version will the UK get, the Exynos 8core or the snapdragon 800?
What atre the clock speeds of each and which is the more powerful of the two?
Any Other differences between the versions?
Will the UK variant (unlocked) be ready for all uk 4G basebands?
Samsung have stated that countries with LTE networks will get the LTE variant, and that means the Snapdragon 800. So that's what the UK will get.
There's loads of discussion of relative performance of the two models and other differences on this forum and on other sites, so I won't repeat that.
As far as I can tell there will be only one version officially sold in the UK, whether through a network or SIM-free. In theory that should mean that a SIM-free phone will work on any 4G network, but whether it really will is the key question! Personally I am going to let other people buy them first and try it out before I buy myself. It shouldn't take too long. Also, there may be teething troubles with the O2 and Vodafone 4G networks having only recently been switched on. There were reports of some S4 LTE models sold by O2 not working on the O2 4G network at first.
Just received the confirmation of two different models that will be sold in BE/NLD.
Both single and dual sim versions will be available! be carefull what you buy!
This is what I have managed to establish so far about the different models:
XT1072 - Retail UK / EU - Single-SIM - 8GB
XT1077 - Retail China - CDMA2000 - Dual-SIM - 8GB / 16GB
XT1078 - Retail Brazil - Dual-SIM - 8GB / 16GB
XT1079 - Retail China - TD-SCDMA - Dual-SIM - 8GB / 16GB
Just received the confirmation they have the 16GB Dual-sim in stock so let wait and see, will be delivered tomorrow.
Update: Received a single sim 8gb version (the europe version) and returned it!!!!!
:crying: If its to good to be true.... Received a XT1072 this morning.
send it back for "16gb dual-sim". Guess I will be receiving an email soon they made a mistake on the website (and their response on my email regarding this matter).
It's looking increasingly likely that the only version available for the foreseeable future in Europe is the XT1072 Single-SIM version. This article confirms no Dual-SIM version for the UK: http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/new-prod...4g-2015-release-date-price-specs-uk-dual-sim/
Sadly only the single sim, 8GB model is available in South Africa as it is imported from Europe. Would be interested to here your thoughts on this model when yours arrives. Planning on buying mine in the next few days.
I ask as I am considering importing one.
I am now using ZE520KL (Taiwan model) of Zenfone 3, it has 1.6MP back camera, fingerprint module, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of ROM, 5.2" screen, 1080p, dual SIM slots and micro-SD slot (you can only choose between SIM2 and micro-SD card).
You may use the information I provided above to compare with the information on ASUS UK website. I hope this helps you.
do zenfone 3 really not sopport quick charging?
Yes, it does not support quick charge.
Since you're from taiwan, you may differentiate one thing for us. Does ZE552KL has two variant 32GB/3GB and 64GB/4GB.
After checking Asus Taiwan Store, there is NO 3GB variant for ZE552KL but I am not sure if there is one in other countries.
Usually, the difference, if any, is in supported 2G/3G/4G network bands only. I think the Taiwan version should support all popular Asian/European bands.
The countries differ from the rest of the world in term of network bands are US, Korea and Japan. But nowadays, even smartphones for those markets do support "international" bands for Asia/Europe
Just got my refurbished Z3 compact D5803. I am surprised to see only 4 LTE Bands in service menu: 1,3,19,21. For me band 20 is important to get connected. What is the trick? When I looked arround for specs I read that D5803 supports band 20. There is no net/sim- lock.
Can anybody help me?
Rgds!
You likely don't have an actual D5803. The Japan DoCoMo model only supports LTE bands 1, 3, 19, and 21, so it sounds like you have the Japanese model flashed with D5803 firmware.
This kind of thing is not uncommon with these Chinese refurbs. Often they will sell refurbs of the Japanese models at a much lower cost than the international models (due to the restricted radio band support), but I have heard of isolated incidents of somebody buying a Chinese refurb of an international model & getting one that clearly has the motherboard from a Japanese model phone inside of it.
