I dislike the low-battery notification & popup very much. Does anyone know how to disable those features? Is there a file I can just open up and edit to make the changes? I'm on stock odexed MDC with root.
I dunno what's wrong, but obviously my s health stopped working after rooting the phone using CF AUTO ROOT. Anyone having the same problem?

You can install xpose framework, and install wanam > under security hacks > (enable) disable secure storage
if not work, go setting > application > s health > clear data
it can fix =)

Thank you for your fast and accurate reply... and that solve my problem instantly
Yeah!! you are welcome
many feature at wanam, you can play around with it =)
Dear Friends,
please look here.:
http://repo.xposed.info/module/ma.wanam.xshealth
This Module works fine with Note 4 and you must not change the secure Settings with build.prop
XSecureStorage module bypass the secure storage checks on SHealth and Private mode services, this will let you load the SHealth App with no hangs and activate Private mode on Rooted Samsung devices running Xposed framework.
Why we do that? because somehow if you are using Xposed framework on GalaxyS5 (and the newest Samsung flagships), Secure storage will fails to process and save data, which leads to a Sensor service hangs.

Install and activate the attached apk in Xposed Installer and S-Health works fine.

i had same problem clear data didnt work and wanam was causing the phone to freeze and lag really badly so i unrooted it and tried to do factory reset but it wouldnt reset when i pressed erase everything nothing happened so i reset through recovery and it wouldnt restart after that it was stuck on samsung logo in the end i had to download and reflash stock rom anybody know why thats happened as i like the wanam features but dont want that heart in the mouth moment again if i try to root it agin...
Don't worry the steps is easy
1. new phone (after factory store or flash rom by odin)
2. root it
3. install xposed and wanam
4. enable it under wanam > security hacks > "disable secure storage"
5. clear data under setting > application manager > shealth
6. reboot, shealth will be work!
good luck

I want to use Viper4android. After installing Busybox and Viper4android and rebooting the phone, I am unable to use Viper on my phone. I tried disabling as well as uninstalling soundalive.apk from system using titanium Backup. However, the surprising part is even after Uninstalling Soundalive, it keeps on appearing in Stock Music Player and doesn't allow viper to function. How can soundalive pop up when the apk itself is deleted from system. I have been successful in using Viper4android on Samsung Galaxy E5. However I am not able to use it on Galaxy A5
This soundalive thing is too annoying. Any way to get rid of this crap bloatware....

Hello this is kind of a late response but I respond anyway =D .. this is what I did and now V4A is working like a charm on Galaxy alpha stock Kk rooted phone ... I went to the audio.effects.conf file located in /system/etc .. and I opened it with a text editor .. and then I removed everything with the name "sound alive" in it .. rebooted the device and now V4A is working without any problems
Have the solution
https://apkring.com/es/apps/package-disabler-pro-samsung-apk
Download that app, follow the steps, find soundalive and just disable it. DONE. you can eneable it whenever you want. Have a Niceto day
Is it possible to change CPU/Kernel/BuildProp with root and them remove root? Will the changes still work??
Because apps like Pokemon Go don't allow rooted phones and neither Magisk or root cloak work.
Thanks in advance to anyone who replies,
Ricardo Arantes
You can change any of those and then remove root if you make the changes yourself. I. E. not with an app that does it at boot time.
Be aware though that safety net is now detecting oem unlocked devices which means that unless you have this on you can't make any modifications anyway as dm-verity will fail and you will also encounter frp lock with a custom kernel.
There is a workaround though.
Basically any mods you make are likely to cause you issues with safety net.

Yes, you can edit the build.prop, using custom kernel with init.d and script to modify CPU parameters or edit and add cpu parameters to the /system/etc/init.qcom.post_boot.sh
I'm trying to find a root application that can enable hidden or disabled features in Android. If anybody knows please tell me.
There are no hidden features that can be activated that im aware off. Anyway you can add features and modify your system with custom roms, magisk modules or Edxposed/Lsposed (xposed framework).
What are you searching for exactly?
