2. There are many ICS builds now for the tab, just check the threads in this sub-forum.
Which section would be the correct one ?
Can i move the thread ?
Ecactly with the information i have problems
1 which i have checked are based on 2.x.x android, boca as example
2 do i have a problem with understanding ?
3 ics is based on android 4 - correct ?
I cant find a rom which mention the version 4. I have read some information from the devs but all what i can read is "based on 2.xx rom"
Nothing with 4. Could you point out which rom exactly is based on android 4.

Dude, you post in wrong section, this is for development section, you should post your thread at Galaxy tab Q&A or in Galaxy Tab General.
FYI, ICS it's code name for Android 4, do a research before asking, and there is no official ICS ROM for any Galaxy Tab P1000 in any variant coming from Samsung, lucky we are there is a great developers like cdesai, humberos,alroger,slimdizzy,stimpz0r and many other developers have porting CM9/AOKP for our beloved tab, CM9 and AOKP base on ICS so it's Android 4.

Assuming Samsung have screwed the open source community again by not releasing Exynos sources and the CM team can't do much currently?
I'm sure it may get released eventually, but as to when, who knows.

I've been watching this thread weekly since December 2013 and haven't seen any new information. Are there no unified roms for the note 3 or is this thread just not updated? The unified roms page of the galaxy s4 page is updated almost daily. I'm wondering if I'm missing something or is there another place on XDA where I should seek unified roms for the galaxy note 3 or if there are simply no unified roms on XDA for the note 3.
Thank you to the developers, XDA and everyone else involved to bring this amazing resource for those of us not smart enough to code our own roms. Again a sincere thank you, I'm sure it's not easy...

No bro.... AOSP won't be released unless devs get the latest source from Samsung. Also, there aren't many devs for both the Notes.I am also waiting for the releases of unified roms......:laugh::good:

First of all we have to wait for a Stable MIUI 7 Marshmallow Build from Xiaomi. I think a Mix of Mi4 and/or Mi Note / Pro System is the Best Choice.
Base will be a AOSP ROM on Android 6.0 (Maybe my last ROM Evolvere HD3) but let's see...
The Second thing is that i need Help with logging and Kernel Patches (I'm not the Linux Guy)! If you want to Help me with the Port just send me a PM here on XDA. Or text me on Hangouts to [email protected] !

No 64 Bit devices Mate! Mi4 has a SD801 and the Mi Note too (Maybe SD805 idk.) The Pro Version has a 1440p Display and a SD810 64Bit. But we can use parts of the System to have no layout Problems caused by 1080p System on our 1440p Screen. :angel: I've done 1 or 2 Ports in the past,that was on early Kitkat but there are some things i can still remeber

Only problem with the mi4 and the mi note is neither of those devices got lollipop miui. I'm not too sure they will update them to marshmallow

You've Seen it... Ok. I'm talking with MIUI Germany to get my Hands on the MIUI 7 6.0 Sources. Maybe i get some links to the Test Builds...

Would it be better to just try to port the lollipop version of miui. That would be more of a reality. I really don't care to have a marshmallow version of it. Just my opinion. I'm sure everybody would be happy just to have it.

Personally I never switched to MIUI because of their delay in the deployment of Android...

I had Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 and now (of course) Motorola Nexus 6, I tried a lot of ROMs but MIUI was the best of all. Now I'm waiting for this MIUI 7 ROM.
