I've been watching this thread weekly since December 2013 and haven't seen any new information. Are there no unified roms for the note 3 or is this thread just not updated? The unified roms page of the galaxy s4 page is updated almost daily. I'm wondering if I'm missing something or is there another place on XDA where I should seek unified roms for the galaxy note 3 or if there are simply no unified roms on XDA for the note 3.
Thank you to the developers, XDA and everyone else involved to bring this amazing resource for those of us not smart enough to code our own roms. Again a sincere thank you, I'm sure it's not easy...

No bro.... AOSP won't be released unless devs get the latest source from Samsung. Also, there aren't many devs for both the Notes.I am also waiting for the releases of unified roms......:good:

Hello guys. I seen the new MIUI custom rom, which is very beautiful & full of modification along with numerous tweaks. I wonder all MIUI fan would love it. But this rom is presently developed only for sony Xperia S/SL but the developer assured me to make this one for our galaxy S3 too. But he need testers. So if anyone interested to enjoy this MIUI rom then please come & be the tester for our galaxy s3. So that he can start the new build for galaxy s3. Thanx in advance. Come soon
If most of you are ready to test this build then Required the following points by Dev....
How many you are presently porting ROMs for S3?
Which versions do you port?
Which the base and the port ROM that you opted for?
What are the Major Bugs in each of your versions?
What are the Major Bugs in your Official Release?
What are the Features that can still be improved?
Which are the Features that are Missing and Should be there?
How long would it take you to give me a very detailed testing report If I send you an experimental build?
Anything Else you would like to suggest or mention?
Anything else I should be aware of before starting working on it?
I want detailed answers on all these questions not just from you but from other users of your device who want me to start making ROMs for them. I hope you got the point what I am really trying to know here, As I don't have the device the only thing I could rely upon would be my testers.
See Rom :- http://en.miui.com/thread-7303-1-1.html

So the thing is, omni as a whole does support legacy devices. However developers may not have legacy devices as a high priority, so support for them will be slow.
They will be added in the future if a developer does bring them up

Amy developer can contribute any patch they/feel suitable to omni, including legacy patches, as long as the quality is to a good standard, it works, and it doesn't break anything else

i m asking that now omni is not supporting legacy devices if any other non-omni developer creates rom for legacy device then will that be recognised as official rom from omni..
If they are experienced enough to maintain it, then I guess yes it will be official.
However it is my opinion that many people who "bring up" a rom on a device are not experienced enough to be a maintainer for a team such as omni or cyanogenmod.

Yes legacy devices will be supported if the ROM runs well enough on them. They will definitely not be kept out of having official builds.

So Why i9100(not g version) doesn't have official support? Below is list of unofficial builds:

Encourage your dev to push his changes to gerrit so we can get official builds set up. It's up to him though.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47606886&postcount=79
@nims11 posted link to his github in "Developers - Merging Your Working Device" thread. Something more is needed? I'm not dev and i don't know how exactly gerrit work. Can you add i9100 to gerrit basing on it or something else is needed?
Edit:
I asked both i9100 developers of OmniRom - they can't do anything as long as admin doesn't create directory for i9100 in OmniRom github. Maybe someone with permission to do this will read this post

It took a while to get i9100 forked due to the fact that it was a holiday for many of us.
It's forked and the 4.4 bringup patches are on gerrit for review. Rather than forking one of the trees out there, we started from the same origin point as n7000/i777 as I want the commit history for those devices to be similar.
Right now, the holdup for i9100 is that no one who actually owns the device and knows how to apply/review Gerrit patches has reviewed and tested them yet.
As We All Know Samsung Has Released Many Variants For Different For Different Countries But There Is Only Two International Variants
G900F And G900H But There Is Only One Android Development For Variants And It Is So Cumbersome To Search For Kernels, Roms Bla..Bla...Bla So if There Will Be A Separate Thread For G900H Or Other Variants It Would Be Great. So Moderators Please Make Separate Thread For Other Variants You Does With S4 And Note 3.
Thanks In Advance
hrithikgupt.
Owners Of Other Variants Can Also Request Separate Thread For There Device,Please Help Me By Posting In This Thread Thanks.
Lol no.
There's no need. There are only two kernels and zero roms for the G900H.
If there was such a need, then the forums would be separate (like the Note 3 forums)

I think dont have much topics for exynos version

That would be nice, but it seems we are out of luck since there aren't' many active developments for the G900H

in my opinion still it's necessary to have separate the G900H and G900F. the exynos version is almost new, that's why there are not much development for that model. there will be new rom for this model soon. so it's better to separate them.
Yes There Is Requirements Of Seprate Thread Because When Development Of G900H Will Start It Will Be Cumbersome To Sort Out Roms And Kernel That That It May Not Made Anytime.
Sent from my SM-G900H using Tapatalk
Let's wait until that happens, shall we? right now there's not much compelling evidence that there will be development for Exynos variant.
Plus the demanding attitude is a real turn off. First it was "why there aren't any custom kernels?" then now it is "why don't we have our own threads/forums for our non-existant development?". It would be very sad to have a whole forum just for two threads and maybe more if we add the custom recoveries.
It takes very little time to move threads to another forum, if there was a necessity then a new forum would be created and a mod can move them there.
Samsung Galaxy S5 G900H is one of the most neglected phones in a flagship range of phones! And the reason? Because of having an Exynos processor. Why aren't developers not developing no AOSP based custom ROMs for G900H? The source code is available online, and someone should at least take the initiative. If I knew how to do develop a ROM from scratch or If someone could teach me, I would have done it. But that is not the case. Are there people who have the skills to do the impossible? How do they make an AOSP ROM compatible for a device?
Well we can start a bounty but to be honest i'm going to get rid of my g900h as soon as the new Nexus comes out.

That is so true.. I find that all development happens for all the other major phones except the g900h.. and I feel so left out of the whole loop... *sigh*

I wanted to raise awareness.. This is because, the G900H is a very common variant in Asian, African and South American countries but has few developers for it..

I gave up searching custom rom for Galaxy A5 sm-500g variant. I regret buying this phone ..At last I had to post a new thread for this. Dont know whether this is a right place Can't understand why developers still quiet of its development...CAN nY one help? ?????
There is sadly no development for this variant. My advice is to sell it and buy a good phone with good developer support and custom ROMS. I'm gonna do the same.
