Hello,
i have a i9505 device (without Knox/not officialy updated to 4.4), which was installed with the Rom(without Problems):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-develop/rom-bhp-rom-v6-supercharged-t2833146
Yesterday i reset the Counter and Flash a 4.4.2 Stock Firmware (Germany DBT).
Now i can't turn the wifi, i tried to restore to Default Settings and do wipe data+cache from the original recovery mode,
without results.
I see now that the Rom that i flashed was a 4.4.4 (for T-Mobile devices), i think this can be Problem.
How can i fix this Problem?
I searched on Google, a reflash with 3 parts(modem, pit,...) can be a solution, but havent found a link.
Problem is solved now.
I installed a newer Version, lollipop 5.0.1 with full wipe and PIT File, that changed my Partition:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/general/i9505xxuhoa7-odin-files-100-t3043983
My knox is 0x00 and working wifi.
One of the common solutions for any connectivity issue is to reinstall the modem at the very least. Sometimes however it is better to flash an entire ROM. Just be aware that the PIT file was not why your WiFi worked again.
Anyhow, good to know you got it sorted out.

Hello. Today I installed on my notes 3 SM-N9005 lollipop 5.0 version Poland but I found them a few problems: the first is that the vibration of the keyboard does not work. I found two of the slowdowns in the task manager. Now if I want to return to kitkat I can do fleshando firmware via Odin? ??
+1
I asked the same question with no accurate answer, i found a thread on how to downgrade from leaked ver. Of lolipop and not the official one and i won't risk trying this method, what I'm asking for is it possible to downgrade to official kitkat using odin specially that i have ticked update bootloader button when i flashed official Lolipop.
Will this work or we are risking our mobiles for a brick?
Appreciate if someone answered us with a proven record.
Regards,
however I have seen videos on youtube that have made the downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.3 fleshando only the firmaware dacendo and then wipe data / cache. I think the same procedure also applies to switch lollipop kitkat.
It's safe to downgrade using odin. I did it myself from the leaked and the official release (both of them with the bootloader updated). In case odin complains about size just check my last posts and use the PIT file I provided.
Sent from my SM-N9005
Hi,
I have downgraded from the Polish Lollipop without using a PIT file - successfully. You will need to carry out a data wipe and factory reset, but it worked fine.
I couldn't... flashing ENC2 with Odin gave me size error, flashing with PIT solved that, but my IMEI and Baseband were gone. I gave up at that point, flashed Lolipop again and am back to normal now.

it just happens to me .... it would be nice to someone who really knows solve this problem make a tutorial on how to return to kk
Download N9005XXUGNK2 from sammobile and flash with odin, after the flash complete do a factory reset via recovery or your phone wont boot and will be stucked in samsung logo
My video camera has not been working for a while now. I thought it was because of my previous ROM (Bobcat Rom) but it was not.
I flashed a new rom after almost a year (DarkLord S6 Rom) and the video camera(front and back) is still not working, photo camera is fine.
All apps wont make the vid cam work. What can I do?
Flash stock rom and try .
Or have the camera repaired at a repair centre .
So I solved it by:
Using Odin 3.11.1
I have already tried Factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, flashed the latest stock Lolipop or older lollipop with ODin and nothing solved the problem.
So I tried to flash the latest stock lolipop with Odin and marking checked (Auto Reboot , F. Reset Time , Phone EFS clear, Phone Bootloader update).
I suspect that the Phone EFS clear did the trick. It's function is related to the modem and radio of the phone. And clearly the modem has a problem here.
I hope this will help anybody out there having this issue.
This problem happened after trying to flash lollipop using FlashFire app to reserve the root that I had in my previos Android KK 4.4.2.

Hi,
I tried to downgrade my Note 3 with CSC VIA to Kitkat VIA. Downloaded and flashed firmware from Sammobile. Didn't work. failed in ODIN though it finished.
I tried it again and now i can flash Kitkat with ODIN "passed" but I'm stuck in bootloop. Full wipe and cache clean in recovery won't work. Tried it a last time with Kitkat DBT version (debranded) and added a PIT file by Darklord for 1DBT. ODIN says passed but the bootloop still is there. Download mode is still available so i see some real chance to get it done.
Is it possilbe to debrand to DBT that easily or shall I stay on VIA? I never tried the PIT file for DBT with VIA firmware. Anyone has a clue what I might try to get it working again? Ah btw. Recovery and Download seems to be perfectly fine and Knox isn't triggered.
Your input is highly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Try this:
1. Full wipe first (system, data, cache and dalvik)
2. Flash the VIA Kit Kat firmware via ODIN unticking "Autoreboot".
3. Take out the battery and pull in it again when the flashing process finish.
4. Boot in Recovery and make full wipe again.
5. Reboot your device and it should boot normally.
6. Tell me if it worked for ya
Hi,
thanks for you input. I tried it - still the bootloop. So I made a try with the current version (installed before). This works - most likely because I'm unable to clean Dalvik with the standard recovery.
Anyhow in the end I'm not happy with the outcome because of the bluetooth issues of the new version. Anybody has a suggestion how to downgrade sucessfully - I'd happily install a CM12.1 as well but a nightly without installation advice seems to be a bit too much for me.
try flashing MODEM with NON-HLOS, I think you have corrupted the EFS.

HELP
Hi XYAN78, I had the same isse as you, I also upgraded from kitkat 4.4.2 to the latest TGY rom through Odin, I finally fixed it. Here are the things you can try :
1. Try wipe cache, data from recovery then shut down and take out the battery, then startup the phone again. You may try a few times.
2. If 1. not work, try do :
-wipe data/cache in recovery.
-flash rom througn Odin( don't tick the auto restart check Box), when odin flash finish, reboot into recovery and wipe data&cache. Shut down and take out the battery.
-boot into download mode directly, and flash the rom again.
(You may ned try more time this cycle in order to to fix it. Good luck)

Hi leohk,
i tried your steps but not working...
actually i cannot reload my actual ROM TGY 4.4.2. Few working ROMs as given in my last post are loading successfully.
Can you tell what TGY ROM you have successfully flashed and from where you downloaded that . as i have tried almost all tgy roms from sammobile... I have noticed a zip file error in the TGY ROMs downloaded from sammobile

Originally I was on Kitkat: N9005ZHUENJ1 and then flash the Lollipop N9005ZSUGOI1, I use Winrar and when try the zip file test also failed but after installed the latest version of Winrar, it passed the test. btw, when Odin do the flash it will test the MD5 check also, so if it can pass the MD5 test step in Odin flash process then the file should be fine.
below is the Lollipop Rom I flashed, and I followed the instruction there also.
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/57235/N9005ZSUGOI1_N9005OZSGOI1_TGY/
I remember I tried the process around 4-5 time before I can get the wifi issue fixed. I have a 16G HK version Note 3.
Hi leohk,
I tried the method but it is not working. The TGY ROMS gives ext4 error at cache.img. other ROMS as in my above post loads but without Wifi. So, still without Wifi...
my mobile is 32GB HK version maybe that is the reason.
I also noticed mobile heating up after flash/factory reset is it normal??
Thanks for sharing your experience.
Hi All,
After wandering over the internet to solve my problem i finally resolved it.
I changed my approach to problem instead of focusing on wifi to work with ROMS loading successfully; i focused on ext4 error while flashing with original TGY stock ROM.
After googling and going through many forums I found the solution that worked
The solution was to flash the stock TGY ROM with pit file "CSB_signed_HLTE_EUR_OPEN_32G_0805" and voila...
This pit file is available on the internet.
Initially I loaded original TGY stock ROM 4.4.2 which worked and Wifi not greyed this time.
Afterward I loaded TGY ROM 5.0. The second time without pit file and it was fine.
After re-partition with CSB_Signed_HLTE_EUR_OPEN_32G_0805, what are size of the partition of System, Cache and Hidden of your Note3?
My 32G N9005 is with same wifi problem after flashing latest TGY LL stock ROM. I found System partition size is of 2.2GB but the size of System partition derived from PIT file should be 2.9GB.
So i got another issue with my phone. This time the camera. Back in the Stock ROM i once recorded 60FPS video but since then im not able to record videos at all. I tried numerous ROMs (CM11, CM12, DarklordN5, etc) but nothing solved the issue. Help Please!
So I solved it by:
Using Odin 3.11.1
I have already tried Factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, flashed the latest stock Lolipop or older lollipop with ODin and nothing solved the problem.

I hope this will help anybody out there having this issue.
