Im having issues with doing the OTA update for my Flex d950, says my phone is not registered. I am going to be upgrading from a rooted 4.2.2 to the 20b 4.4.2
If I do the CSE flash will I lose root? Has this also been confirmed to work on windows 8.1 ? i've been reading of people having issues. Or should I just do the normal flash instead of cse?

LG Flash Tool 2014 this application does not works offline! It need internet connection otherwise works incorrect! Look below attached picture.
Stuck In Download Mode.
Phone: LG Optimus G Pro E988, Android 4.4.2
Updated the phone about 2 months ago with the tool, today I tried to flash the same KDZ file but forgot to copy it to the LG Flash Tool folder, now my phone is stuck in download mode(I tried a number of key combinations to boot it into recovery), I thought it was the LG Support Tool problem, tried to install it, but a window pops up saying I have to connect to the internet and try again, but I was already connected, Downloaded the latest version 1.0.7.1 of the tools, now installation stuck at just about 5 %(attached a snap shot), please help my phone is stuck in download mod.

Yeah... This tool works incorrect. It brick my brand new LG G2 D802 32GB when I upgrade from V20B to V20G. The phone still is brick. I think unable to unbrick without send to LG repair service. I don't recommend use this application! I recommend use completely offline older method:
install on PC LGUnitedMobileDriver_S50MAN311AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.11.3, install on PC LGMobile Support Tool (B2CAppSetup), control panel>show hidden files, folders, from folder UpTestEX_BY_BRIDE_2014>Apps copy the LGMLauncher and past it into folder LGMOBILEAX (Local Disk C:>Program Data>LGMOBILEAX), from folder UpTestEX_BY_BRIDE_2014>Apps copy the LGUserCSTool.exe and past it into folder B2C_Client (Local Disk C:>Program Data>LGMOBILEAX>B2C_Client), if possible in the phone run the USB Debug, if possible in the phone choose method of connection into LG Software, connect phone into PC and wait a moment for install drivers, run as administrator application UpTestEX_BY_BRIDE_2014, select KDZ file, select type: CDMA, PhoneMode: DIAG, CSE web upgrade test, Upgrade Start, Diffrent Country, Language
This method is a 100% offline-not need internet connection.
Good luck!
LG G2 stuck in Boot Loop after flashing firmware
Hi Guys i have a LG G2 which had been rooted and was running CM11 CyanogenMod Android KitKat 4.4.2.
I wanted to go back to stock, so flashed the phone using the LG flash tool 2014 which worked fine till it rebooted to the LG logo and rebooted again and again till battery went flat.
I can enter download mode by holding vol+ and plugging in the usb but can't do anything please could someone advise.
Thanks
For all of you with D802 model who bricked your device using this tool (like I did) use this one (link under) step by step and everything will be fine. This ia .tot method and you'll be 4.2.2 again. You just have to be able to enter download mode to save your phone with this method. It saved mine. Good luck

Am I supposed to not change language?
I'm stuck on phone screen (download mode) at 13%
Hi,
i used towelroot and used a programm to change my locale setting. I set it to German language and Antarctica location by mistake instead of German and Austria, and that terminated the Android UI over and over again. The phone instantly went into a loop restarting its UI. A reboot did not work, stuck on LG logo. I can enter download mode, but not factory reset.
Used your modded tool. It goes to 99% and then end with "abnormal program termination". It looks like the flashing worked, but the language setting is the same i guess because the phone is still stuck at the LG logo. I am using the normal flash, not CSE flash cause i want to rescue my data.
I leave the default setting cdma and diag. I tried Germany, different country and germany, republic of korea, and even korean, republic of korea in the window before the update starts.
Is there a way to force the Antarctica locale setting to go away without deleting all my data?
Got LG G2 32 gig, unlocked

LG G2 stuck
I was installing a new kernel using clockwork Rom Manager to reboot the phone in TWRP recovery, didn't know this was bad. So I had my G2 completely stuck on LG logo, no download mode, no recovery, can't even turn it off, then I tried LG mobile support tool, restored after many times a Rom, but when it boot it asks me some kind of PIN/Password, then I did the same using LG Flash tool by goind in download mode, but still the same, what can i possibly do? Thanks in advance
If you have download mode, look at my post #10. There is a link to solve your problem. It definetly solved mine and I only had download mode. Just follow steps 1by1. Don't know which version you have, mine is D802. I think it helps for D800/1/2/3
has anyone used this tool on LG-F370S, South Korea?

[Fixed][D802] After rom update can't boot (Bricked)

Hello everyone.
I have a D802 LG G2 16GB version.
I had on my D802 a BlissPop rom version 5.1 and it was frequently rebooting and sometimes when charging screen wont turn on and after rebooting it will say optimising apps.
I downloaded the latest Cyanogenmod rom for it and installed it from recovery.
The installation went quick and no errors, I then rebooted it.
It showed the LG logo for a second then only the back lighting was on.
I tried connecting it to the pc and it showed 12 drives all empty and with errors except one that had a folder called image.
It wasn't useful, so I tried the emergency mode and it worked - the PC detected LG and installed drivers althrough the memory is not detected.
At the device manager it detects LGE AndroindNet USB Serial Port and on the screen of the phone it says Firmware Update 0% and in small B60 ROOTED.
I will really appreciate any help regarding this, ofcourse I would like to find a way to fix it and get it back running if its possible?
Thank you!
EDIT:
I guess a possible solution is flashing a KDZ, but I'm not sure what KDZ I need for this. I have another identical G2 phone, how can I check using it what KDZ I need for it?(Which variant etc)
Update: Because of the problems with booting I automaticlly assumed that recovery mode is not an option but.. it works and I sucseesfully entered it. (!!)
I downloaded this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development-d802/rom-cyanogenmod-13-0-t3250514 (different from the one I installed before)
Then I wiped factory reset, dalvik cache and installed it, again installation went smooth.
After I hit reboot same problem, LG logo shows up for a second (quicker than usual, normal working LG) and then black screen with backlighting on.

if not use TOT methos.. or kdz. am not sure wich one ...
Problem fixed, the solution for me (It might be different for you if you're facing similar problem) was to download kdz and lg flash tool and reflash it to the original stock.

Lg G2 Rom problem

Hi,
I bought an LG G2 D802 with kitkat(4.4.2) D80220c installed on it. After reading that G2 got lollipop update, I downloaded lollipop rom for g2 d802 ad manually flashed it, Everything worked fine until the mobile started. Its touch was erratic and there was no network. My mobile was not reading sim card and there was IMEI problem.
I read some posts that advised to open the back of cell and check model. I did, found out it was LS980. Now the real problem is tht when I flashed LS980 stock kitkat through Lg flash tool, it failed on 89%. Now my cell is stuck on LG logo. I tried to get into download mode, But failed to do so because my computer said that the device is not connected. Its not booting into recovery mode also. I'm stuck with this plastic piece of crap.
What should I do?
Plz help

My LG F800L doesn't turn ON after H918 kdz installation! HELPPPP

Hello.
First, sorry for my bad english..
I got the F800L model and I rooted the device following the guide of Dirty Santa.
One day I read in forum that someone was able to flash H918 rom to the F800L device.
So I tried to do same.. but with the mistake of not backing up my original rom.
When I tried to flash the H918 rom through TWRP, it installed well, but when it booted, it just remained hanged in LG logo.
I just left it over a day waiting if it pass the LG logo. But it didn't.
Then I searched for the fix and read the guide about restoring the bricked device through LGUP and kdz file.
So I entered in download mode and connected to PC.
Executed LGUP software and my device appeared in H91810i model instead of F800L. I downloaded the F800L kdz file and tried to restore with LGUP but it appeared error saying kdz invalid.
So I managed to download the H918 10i kdz file and tried again to restore.. and WOW! it completed the process.
But.. Now my device is in worse condition. It doesn't even turn on.
Tried to enter again in download mode but nothing happens.. neither enters in fastboot mode...
Pulled out the battery and reinserted, and tried to turn on but nothing happens..
Can anybody help me please???
I think you destroyed your phone
You should get it to repair service
lol, u just facing the same problem with me, i did exactly the same what u do, was looking around for solution, but nothing really helpful out there, the only way i found is the method with sd card, u get the debrick img file, burn it to a 32gb sd card with the right tool, put sd card to your phone and hope it will get to downloadmode or fastboot or whatever idknow cause i'm don't have the debrick.img file for F800L, looking for it right now, people say u can get that file from the phone (has same model) that still working, that all i know for now, if u found anyway to fix your phone please told me :highfive:
It has been repeated over and over and over "DO NOT FLASH ANYTHING THAT IS NOT MEANT FOR YOUR DEVICE" and also "FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK". Both of them together makes it pretty clear that you shouldn't have flashed something that was meant only for the h918 into an f800l variant. Developers dont write this down as fancy words or for fun. They do it in order to let everybody know that if flashed, it could easily alter your system in such a way that it might never be fixed except by the company itself. By flashing something that wasnt meant for your device, you are trying to override the system with an image. And if the developer never made the source compatible with yours, then software and hardware will be contradicting each other. The motherboards of the phones comes for its specific variants and only developers can alter an image of a system to make it somewhat compatible with the variant.
Now, lets hope you get an answer to how to fix it because LG wont be fixing it for you since you voided your warranty by a) the simple fact of unlocking the bootloader (which is pretty easy to identify since it shows the warning sign when you turn the phone on), and b) you rooted the device. And LG wont work with neither of those. Unless.... and this is a maybe because i dont know if they would agree too (if you pay the sum they request to fix it, which i assure you it will be more that $100+ maybe even significantly more). Then they fix it for you.
I personally made a backup in a separated MIcro SD card i have outside the phone. So that if i have problems with my system, then i just insert that micro sd card and restore the backup.
Good luck!
If the phones screen is blank when you try to turn it on you bricked. Only fix is a replacement. There is NO debrick.img
oh my god, if u stop at the step KDZ tool found your device that H918, I can help you. Just boot to fastboot mode and fastboot the file name bootbackup.img and KDZ tool will found your device is F800L then KDZ normally. Sorry for my bad English.

LG G2 D802 hard brick [HELP]

Hello. I'm new here and recently I had bricked lg g2 but I used this tutorial https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/lg-g2-unbrickable-fix-real-hard-brick-t2904404
Everything went fine and after flashing partitions on linux and it booted to TWRP but there was again white error Security something and I had to flash partitions again. And thats where it begins.
I accidently did something wrong and now I can't power on my lg g2. Cant recovery, download mode etc. When plugged to PC it only shows in device manager QHSUSB_BULK but none of partitions are visible.
Is there anything I can do more?
