[Q] Best smartphone for hacking?

Hi I was just wondering if there are any other smartphones out there that are very hackable like the htc leo(hd2) i am looking to get a phone to play with, i know the hd2 can host windows 6,7 and android but can any other do the same?
thanks in advance
Gary
I think your best bet would be a nexus device to be honest. Hackable devices ate hard to come by nowadays. Sony would also be worth looking into as they try to work closely with other developers.
Edit: For hardware hacking they should all be the same ...
I would recommend the Nexus 4, it is hard to open the hardware up but you can easily root and flash ROM's on it.

If you want a Lumia, buy a Lumia. Bizzarre menus? Check. Limited appstore? Check. Difficulties syncing? Check.
Lumias by themselves ain't bad, they got some great cameras (the high-end ones), the low-end Lumias are better performers than the low-end Androids, I have to admit.
It has been done before, the HTC HD2 started as a Windows device, but Android has been ported for it and development is still going.
The Note 3, however, is not a device with too much development for it.
Either sell it and get a Lumia, or get used to it. Even if it's 2015, the Note 3 is one infernally powerful device, trust us on that.

Snapdragon vs Exynos?? Which is preferred by devs on xda for making custom Rom/Kernel

Hi guys,
So I am planning on getting a S7 Edge (have Note 5 currently) and wanted to get the communities advice on which on to go for. I can get either one (via TMO or Int version). My main concern is custom rom development and which one is easier for devs.
Thanks,

[Q] ROM'S for SM-N910V (Verizon note 4)

I've been searching around the forums and some websites for a good ROM that's a mixture of stock and custom, but so far I've found Rom's that are not compatible with my phone (sprint, t mobile, etc) does anyone know a good ROM that fits the profile? And is it possible to get Rom's for other note 4 models for my note 4?

Maybe I can get one of these :)

Howdy wonderful people
I may get the chance to get a Galaxy Tab S2 with 10" screen and planning to use it with a stable custom ROM.
Which one would you suggest to have in a long term? My purpose is also to have a clean ROM with basic features, no need to getup to android 11, you know, like some sort of compromise
