If a factory reset doesn't solve it, return the device.
I've 2 of these phones and none of them have this (or any other) issue...
Random reboots lately
I am having similar issues with Yureka lately. I am using this phone for past couple of months but only recently phone restart has started. It happens many times in between the phone call. This makes it very frustrating. I have the lollipop update. I am mostly connected to the wifi at home or at work and haven't verified if this problem is replicable without wifi or not. This is most likely a software glitch unless proven otherwise. Please post here if anyone finds a fix. This is an awesome phone at this price point with very good spec and looks. I would like it to work as intended. I have uninstalled many other cleaning/cooling apps which happen to kill tasks to keep phone performance better. It doesn't seem to help as the phone continues to reboot randomly. I am not willing to do factory reset anytime soon.

I met the auto restart issue by several times on my Omnia7.
It occures sometime on IE and marketplace data loading. When the IE / Marketplace is getting data from web through Wifi / 3G, it hangs for about 2-3 second and then the phone restart / reboot automatically. It's much easier to happen when loading a large size web page in IE.
Does anyone have met this kind of issue or know the reason?
Thanks.

Thanks for reply. The issue is it restart the phone automatically, not only the application itself.
remove battery
No anyone other meets this issue? Then I doubt it's not because of software but hardware

Turn phone off and remove battery for 10s min. Then start the phone again. If problems continue and you have a Samsung or carrier support center near you, make them update the firmware to a new one and see if problem is solved.

Thanks for help. It doen't happen so frequently. I've done phone reset and also flashed it into another rom. But the issue is still there.
I've just update it into the new 7008 OS by Zune software yesterday. Hope it could be resolved.
It happened to me once. Just once. FYI, been using this phone for 2 months and it only happened once
Happens to me sometimes on HD7. Not on the Omnia 7 though
It seems not only IE and market place. I met it again yesterday that one app which uses Map control made it crash with Wifi connection. I think that might be because of some data receiving problem on Wifi part.
I've had this happen once since I had the phone in November last year. It was in marketplace, the phone froze and then rebooted itself. This was last week.
I have not installed the update. Like I say this is the first time it's ever happened.
It is most definitely firmware related.
I sent my phone to repair (SIM card reader broken), and they flashed an unbranded rom on it(that was an unexpected extra) and the JK1 firmware. Now I don't have random restarts anymore.
It happened to me twice Yesterday. My omnia runs the 7008 firmware.
I changed my SIM card and hope the problem will no longer appear.
Do you solve this problem in the meantime?
-edit-

Your comment makes me believe the problem is SIM-card related. I've heard of phones randomly rebooting by faulty SIM-cards. I know HTC's problem is mostly mainboard related. Sure do hope it's not a hardware failure. I'll try it for another week or so. If it happens again I'll send it for repair.
I have the same problem. I just have a new Omnia 7 from repair, and the new one already rebbot 3 times since yesterday!
Any idea why?
Is your omnia 7 warm? If it's warm, you must to change your CPU, your cpu is overheat.
Problem will go away. It costs about $75.
I suffer reboots
I suffer from the rebooting problem, sometimes randomly reboots when accessing data (3G also). Well, I believe this is when it happens as it happens a lot!
There have been occasions where the phone gets stuck rebooting and sits with the Samsung Omnia 7 splash screen for ages before powering down; or reboots in a loop.
I tried updating the bootloader with Samsungs tool (after putting the phone in download mode), I've since tried flashing different ROMs and non of them have fixed it.
Currently using:
Phone: I8700XXKB3
PDA:I8700XXKB2
CSC:I8700XENJK1
OS Version 7392
It's so frustrating, it's been to a Samsung 'repair centre' but they just seemed to factory reset it and claimed it was fixed. Next step is send it back to Samsung and hope they fix or replace it for me.
VERY annoying as I cannot use the phone at times when I'm out which is worrying.
I was listening to music, browsing facebook and doing several thing at once with case cover on; then i took off phone from cover and it was very hot, so i supposed it was a over heat problem...
it just happened once for me
I tested this with the SIM in my phone and the SIM out of my phone. It made no difference - I received random restarts in both cases.
It's definitely software related though, as I never received these crashes before upgrading to Mango RTM. Not saying it is Mango, but maybe something to do with the firmware installed in the process of upgrading?
I am really hoping that the official Samsung upgrade to Mango includes new firmware and that it fixes the issue. If not I'm getting rid of this phone, I don't want a phone with features I can't even use. I got a full phone crash the other day when just trying to view a map.
I have it also it only happens when I search websites with the Bing search button. I search websites that I already know that exist and even trough the phone is connected (most of time via Wifi) it shows no results and then restarts. I think any ROM replacement will fix it as I have tried them all without success.
Definetly the issue has something to do with Bing services
Hi I had some random reboots but just a few ones like maybe 3 or 4 in 6 months but since I installed Mango beta, it starts to reboot randomly like you on IE or marketplace but removing the battery a few minutes used to fix this.
I thought it was firmware problem so I flashed it with a lot of different firmwares ( now i have KC1 ) but It didn't solve the problem even worst, now my Omnia 7 is stuck in a boot loop.
I suceeded to make it work for a few hours playing games or using bing maps after puting the phone in the fridge for a few minutes. Now the phone wont charge because of bootlooping so even the "fridge fix" doesn't work. Maybe I will try to change the battery but here in france it's really hard to find Omnia 7 stuffs. Maybe its firmware problem because my phone dont look so hot but it acts like overheat problem. Maybe trying to calibrate the temperature sensor by diagnosis if someone knows how to. I'm ok to try it =)
If someone can give us the normal temperature of their omnia 7 maybe we can compare and try to find the solution.
Thanks for reading my bad english ! =D
I've looked in the other threads but I couldn't find an answer.
My phone is currently rebooting for almost 3-5 times a day. Especially when an application that took a lot of memory was used. When closing this app, like the photo-gallery, the phone reboots. But most of the time the phone ad random reboots even when it's just in stand-by.
All suspicious apps that could cause the reboots are deleted. I've also been running several memory cleaners and monitors but also without any result.
Running down the SEUS or repair option didn't work either. And switching back the phone to the factory defaults hadn't also had any effect.
So my question is; what would be better, bringing back the phone to the store?
Is this a problem covered by warranty? Because it's not possible to lay the finger on the problem; he won't do it all the time, but too often to ignore it.
Or should I try to root my phone? And will rooting a phone also mean that the reboots of the system are over?
It's a phone from T-mobile Netherlands.
I thank you for your thoughts!
If youve factory reset your phone and it's still doing it, then i doubt rooting would help - i.e it's not a software problem as there are lots of people who dont have this issue.
This really sounds like a hardware problem to me. I would suggest getting a replacement.
The story continues...
I've contacted the customer support and the phone will be picked up and switched for another phone.
Thnx for the support!

Hi!
I feel like i searched nearly the whole internet for an answer, but only very few people seem to have these problems so i found nothing that could help me...
I have 3 really annoying bugs on my Play (locked, not rooted, bought in may):
- It randomly reboots from time to time. I tried to figure out when it happens but it has absolutly no relation to what i do with it. it mostly happens when i'm not using it. so it just lies around doing nothing and suddenly i see the sony ericcson logo on the sreen and it reboots...
- The second bug is: it throws me back to the enter PIN screen. like i never entered the PIN it kills wlan, mobile network etc and waits until i reenter the PIN...
- Third is: the clock stops at random times. it seems that this happens sometimes while in flight mode (i always put it in flight mode during the night because i don't want to be disturbed while sleeping and i use the alarmclock).
I already tried to turn off the automatic time via internet because i thought "perhaps it is irritated when internet is no longer available and then it just stops".
But it also happend while in normal mode with wlan on. in that case the clock only stops for a few minutes and then resumes, resulting in a 5 minutes or so difference to the real time without the phone noticing it (even with automatic time turned on)
I don't expect, that anyone can help me fix this, but it would be interesting to know if anybody else experienced these bugs and if you think its hardware or software related.
I already tried getting a warranty replacement. I sent the phone back to amazon, but they have an own mobile phone repair department and, surprise, none of the bugs occured while they tested it. So i got it back with: Sorry nothing found phone works fine....
I would be glad for any sort of advice.
I'm experiencing the random reboots. I believe it has something to do with a software issue on the Sony end. I'm about to check their site now. I'll report back if i find anything.
EDIT: Just finished a chat support session, and in his official capacity he instructed me to either take it to Verizon, or to ship it to their evaluation/repair center. Big load of help. :\

Can you please PM me with more details on your random reboots? I'd be interested to know what applications you were running at the time, signal strength, battery level, and any other details that could help me troubleshoot your issue.
hi friends,
i have a peculiar problem with my sgy now. it started showing for past 1 month. my galaxy y turns off itself randomly.some times it may happen from my pocket ,some times it happens when the phone is not used for a long time and kept idly, it happens also when attending a call. so i am not sure that its not deep sleep switch off problem. this happens both in stock and custom rom or kernels.i have tried many combinations of it. After turning on the phone from random shut down setcpu shows unclean shut down warning and network fails to register to a network for more than 5 mins. i need to manually scan for network. Guys how can i find the reason for the shut down? is there any logs which shows the reason for shutdown? how i can i solve this? is the a problem due to ageing of my sgy? any sort of help is appreciated.
its most likely a kernel problem - if changing kernels doesnt solve it best thing to solve all problems is just to flash stock rom via odin and start again

I had a similar problem a few months after receiving my SGY (a few years ago now). It was new at the time so I swapped it twice under guarantee but without success - even the replacement SGY's did the same. I also got the SIM changed twice since they thought my old SIM caused the issue. Still no success.
The solution was to change from the provider, Vodafone, who I had been using for several years. Fortunately the new provider used the same frequencies and I could keep my number.
I suspect that the culprit was Vodafone's version of 4G, which was being tested downtown at the time before rolling out elsewhere. The crash/reboots wouldn't happen at home in the suburbs just downtown where I worked in the city center and where Vodafone was doing their early testing.
My new provider installed their own 4G system a year or so later but without causing issues so I am still with the new provider.
Perhaps you could try a cheap PrePaid SIM from a different provider: maybe it solves your problem?
Yeah !
Hi,
At some times my ASUS ZenFone 3 (ZE520KL) phone is unusable but Asus's after-sales service does not find the problem and simply updates it when I send it to them.
I haven't figured out what's causing the problem. This can happen to me several times in the same day or not at all for a week.
All applications are crashing at the same time and I have a lot of messages saying "XXX keeps stopping" (I don't know what the English version of this message is). Sometimes the bug report creation (via the menu "shut down""restart") works until it ends but I can't send the report because the other applications crash. Other times the report crash before finishing.
It usually takes several restarts before I can reuse my phone. I have different problems during restarts: infinite loading, no keyboard to type the PIN code, application crashes as soon as the restart is complete.
Other points I noticed (but I'm not sure it has anything to do with it):
the phone restarts on its own, sometimes several times a day
when I do a factory reset, it takes several days before problems reappear.
the more I use the phone, the more likely it's gonna crash.
After some crashes, I loose my wallpaper
If you connect a headset with the screen turned off: it will not be detected by the phone even if I reconnect it with the screen turned on. Forced to restart.
The first crash occurred 3 weeks after my purchase.
My version is up to date. I tried with and without the Play Store or without deactivating any application. But I didn't see any difference.
How can I fix the problem? or how to provoke it (the after-sales service must see it)?
Thank you in advance for your help because even if I can't cause problems, they happen frequently and when they do I can no longer rely on my phone. I often can't take the risk of having a phone with which, when I need it, I might not be able to make a phone call, be awake in time,...

I have same problem, but that time my phone was rooted and i sovled it by root too.
Ok so I'll try to return my phone one last time and if it doesn't work I'll try it in root (but I'm afraid it's a hardware problem).
If the phone is covered by warranty you may ask if you can get a replacement. They should have all your problem reports. I think that would be best instead of rooting it for now. You can root, but it's a gamble and the issue may be hardware, if you do root and issue persists, you lose warranty

You should ask for hardware problem to ASUS center because if you root your phone, ASUS will not responsible for your device any more.
Thank you for your answers.
I already told Asus that the updates didn't fix anything and I thought it was a hardware problem. But they did the same thing again: update, test, their tests pass so they send my phone back to me. That's why I'm trying to figure out how to cause the problem.
I will ask if I can get a replacement if they return my phone without correcting the problem once again.
Asus give me a new motherboard and new camera. Now my phone works perfectly
