[Q] [HELP] 3 Random Reboot and Clock Problem - Xperia Play General

Hi!
I feel like i searched nearly the whole internet for an answer, but only very few people seem to have these problems so i found nothing that could help me...
I have 3 really annoying bugs on my Play (locked, not rooted, bought in may):
- It randomly reboots from time to time. I tried to figure out when it happens but it has absolutly no relation to what i do with it. it mostly happens when i'm not using it. so it just lies around doing nothing and suddenly i see the sony ericcson logo on the sreen and it reboots...
- The second bug is: it throws me back to the enter PIN screen. like i never entered the PIN it kills wlan, mobile network etc and waits until i reenter the PIN...
- Third is: the clock stops at random times. it seems that this happens sometimes while in flight mode (i always put it in flight mode during the night because i don't want to be disturbed while sleeping and i use the alarmclock).
I already tried to turn off the automatic time via internet because i thought "perhaps it is irritated when internet is no longer available and then it just stops".
But it also happend while in normal mode with wlan on. in that case the clock only stops for a few minutes and then resumes, resulting in a 5 minutes or so difference to the real time without the phone noticing it (even with automatic time turned on)
I don't expect, that anyone can help me fix this, but it would be interesting to know if anybody else experienced these bugs and if you think its hardware or software related.
I already tried getting a warranty replacement. I sent the phone back to amazon, but they have an own mobile phone repair department and, surprise, none of the bugs occured while they tested it. So i got it back with: Sorry nothing found phone works fine....
I would be glad for any sort of advice.

I'm experiencing the random reboots. I believe it has something to do with a software issue on the Sony end. I'm about to check their site now. I'll report back if i find anything.
EDIT: Just finished a chat support session, and in his official capacity he instructed me to either take it to Verizon, or to ship it to their evaluation/repair center. Big load of help. :\

Can you please PM me with more details on your random reboots? I'd be interested to know what applications you were running at the time, signal strength, battery level, and any other details that could help me troubleshoot your issue.

Hero crashes every now and then, how to use logfile apps to check reason?

Hi all,
my hero crashed every now and then, i'm not sure what causes this. This really annoys me, because taking out the hero battery is a hassle. It happens like this:
- hero is in sleep mode for some time
- i can't wake it up anymore, doesn't react to any hardware button input. Screen stays black.
- i can't softreset
- only taking the battery out will help out.
Now i want to know who the culprit is, and use a logfile app. My problem is following:
will the logfile app help me at all, AFTER the crash has occured and i reboot the phone? Will the logfile have entries from BEFORE the last startup, or is everything lost by rebooting my device?
Thanks,
shahpur
Shahpur, I have this problem and when I called HTC Europe they said they have never heard of this happening. You press every button and nothing happens. You don't know it's off because the screen is in sleep anyway!! And like you the only thing that gets the phone back is taking the battery out. And then it comes on again. I initially took sim and battery out when it happened, but after it's happened a few times I now know you only need to take the battery out which is a pain, because no buttons will wake the phone when it dies. They said it is probably a hardware problem and not software so a reset or upgrade of ROM will not make any difference and want about 3 or 4 weeks to repair phone, which is not even 2 months old.
Has anyone else had this problem yet? The phone just dies until you take battery out.
I've done 2 factory resets but nothing helps, and I don't want to send it back for a repair.
How often does yours do this?
hmm i would say it happens sporadically every now and then, maybe once a week or so.
But this is definetly not an hardware issue. If the OS fails to respond after getting into sleep mode, i can't imaging that this is a hardware fault which works flawlesss otherwise. I never had any problems with the hardware buttons when working with the device so i think this has to be software od OS related...i have a lot of 3rd party apps and i think it has to do with them...
I will not send my device back because:
you cant easily reproduce this bug, so i'm pretty sure that the repair center will not be able to reproduce and fix this issue. Therefore you might get the same device back, or another device which may also have any other problem like dead pixels, LED problems and so on.
Since my hero is working perfectly and has no other issues besides this annoying bug, i will wait for the next android update and hope that this will help the system get more stable...
well they said I was the only one that reported it and as I am in the UK and you are in Germany I doubt this is true. But I would be interested to hear if anyone else has reported this issue. It's really annoying, I get it every few days, and on Monday twice in one day. It's not where I am as it has happened in 3 different locations, but I don't have any 3rd party apps, or any apps downloaded, so it is not that I'm sure. Have you done the new update and had the problem since then as well as before the update?
i think i had the issue already with the old firmware, and the new firmware didn't fix it too. My device also crashed twice yesterday...
interesting to see that your device crashes without any 3rd party apps...so i think the best way to dig deeper, is to check the logfiles.
hope somebody can answer my logfile app question, so i can find out what was the last task before the device crashed.
Yep, there are no added apps on mine, yet........ So, don't worry about them, It's the phone that you and I have. But we are in the minority. I was offered a reconditioned by Orange, but I don't want a second hand phone with more problems like you say
Just as a matter of interest, what happens if you call the phone when it is in this state?
Regards,
Dave
Well it's dead/off, so answerphone......
Sorry to bump this thread, but I am also having the same issue. Did anyone manage to resolve this issue?
Me too!
I'm having the same issue and it seems to be happening more often. I have sent an email to HTC but no reply yet.
Any fixes?
Mine is a SIM free purchase from Play.com
in my case it was most definetly a 3rd party app which caused the crashes. Since i have like 40 apps installed i'm not sure anymore which one was the culprit, but it seems like i have either uninstalled the app or a recent update fixed the problems.
i didn't get any freeze for many weeks now.
HTC Reply
Got an email back from HTC advising a Hard Reset. Did this last night and no more crashes so far. Fingers crossed
I've reset mine maybe 4 times in 4 months, but I still get this problem
Any update from anyone on this little running saga of the invisible offs?

"No service"

Several times recently (I'm not sure whether it started after I installed the OTA update or if it happened once before then) I have noticed that my phone says "No service" and doesn't pick up T-Mobile again until I power cycle.
It's not that unusual for me to see 0 bars of signal strength in my house; there are dropouts at various places, and I saw the same thing with AT&T on previous phones, so it's not a T-Mobile or Nexus One issue. The problem is that, once every few days, I will pull out my phone and see 0 bars and "No service" instead of "T-Mobile," and nothing short of a power cycle reestablishes the connection. I've tried going into and out of Airplane mode, with no effect, and I also tried using Settings -> Wireless & networks -> Mobile networks -> Network operators, and it never found any.
Maybe related is that when I try to power cycle after this occurs I have trouble doing so -- a few seconds into the shutdown sequence the circling arrow stops moving, I get some sort of notification "ping" and the trackball lights up, and the phone just sits there for a long time. Eventually it reboots -- whether because whatever it's waiting for times out and it continues the shutdown sequence or whether it's responding to my frustrated poking at various buttons while it's sitting there apparently doing nothing, I don't know.
If it's a hardware issue, it's very intermittent; I always have service after the reboot, and as I said, this only happens once every few days. I'm inclined to think it's a software or configuration problem (I'm using the stock 2.1-update1 firmware). Any thoughts or suggestions? TIA.
It happened again this evening when I had some more time to play around with it, so I have a bit more information about this problem.
When I tried Settings -> Wireless & networks -> Mobile networks -> Network operators, the circular arrow spun for a minute or two and eventually a little pop-up appeared saying, "Error searching for networks" or something like that.
It occurred to me that the SIM card might be bad or have a bad connection, so I installed an app (using wifi -- which, BTW, I had on throughout this whole process) that allows you to copy your contacts onto the SIM card and ran it. That seems not to be the problem, though, since that app could access the SIM card just fine, while I still had no service.
I toggled Airplane mode on and off, but there was still no change. I then again searched for network operators; the circular arrow appeared and stopped, then a couple of seconds later the phone spontaneously rebooted and I have service again.
Anybody have any guesses as to what these symptoms might indicate?
Every so often i got service but I cna't send text messges unless I power cycle. If I try to airplane mode cycle it won't let me get out of the mode.
wow, a bit refreshing knowing that I'm not the only one with this issue.
I'm on T-mobile and within the last week I've had 2 occassions where I looked at my phone and noticed no service, a power cycle caused it to freeze on "powering off" screen and I would have to pull the battery. After it booted it I had full bars again.
Within the last 2 weeks I have had issues where I would not be able to send a text messages until i power cycled.
The last time I had no service was 4 hours ago. I had to pull the battery to power cycle and get service again.
Thanks for the reply. I, also, pulled the battery the first time it hung in the shutdown sequence, but as I said in my first message, since then I have managed to complete the power-down after the hang, either because whatever it was waiting for eventually timed out or because something I did (e.g., holding down the power button for several seconds) overrode the wait. Next time it happens I'll try just waiting to see if it will complete the shutdown on its own.
Just out of curiosity, did you have wifi enabled at the time this happened? Bluetooth? I'm not sure whether it's relevant, but I leave both on all the time.
As for the text message problem, I don't send a lot of texts, so I probably wouldn't have noticed if I were having that problem and can't comment on any correlation.
Oh, and a couple more questions: do you have NetCounter installed? And are you in a location where you sometimes or frequently get 0 bars of signal strength?

I have had similar issues with other phones...
For me it turned out to be an issue with my sim card.

I usually have both bluetooth and Wifi enabled all the time...
Dont have netcounter installed.
Dunno about the SIM card issue, unless its a combo of the N1 and my SIM card, because I swap to using my BB 8900 once in a while and I never have text message or no service issues.
Im experiencing the same problem, I have dropped calls in some spots around town (when changing towers it seems), I drop service when inside my home and cant send texts (until a power cycle), horrible 3G speeds of less than 1MB/S all around town (driving and standing directly under the Tmobile Tower that across the street from the tmobile store).
NONE of this happened with my G1....my 3G speeds always sucked though but were usually around 1.5-2.1MB/S.
Im located in Fredericksburg,VA.
(MY PHONE IS NOT ROOTED AND IS RUNNING THE OTA UPDATE1)
Im pretty sure it was the radio update, cause after i get out of a place where i get no signal at all, and i get to a open place I have to reboot the phone to get signal again
I've been busy for the last six weeks or so and haven't been following N1 news around the net. Has anyone heard of any progress on this issue? It seemed to go away on my phone for a couple of weeks, but it's back with a vengeance: it's happened to me about once a day for the last few days, which is more frequently than any time since I've had the phone, so I'd really like to get this fixed somehow.
Can you take a youtube video of it? the more the better to get Google to fix it.
Also these issues seem to be related over here too http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/android/thread?fid=1cc152dbb797df2f000483d7c88e343e&hl=en

Thanks for the link. It seems to me that several different problems are collected together there; mine is specifically the one where I go to zero bars (which happens fairly often; I have several dead spots in my house) and it never comes back.
A video of this would be pretty boring to watch; there's really nothing to see. The signal strength shows zero bars with an "x" and the home screen shows "no service." Trying to power off, or going into and out of airplane mode, shows the spinning arrow for a few seconds, then it stops; a few seconds later the screen goes blank; then a half-minute after that the multicolored "X" appears and the phone reboots itself.
No SMS Gateway
I think this is a separate issue for the phone not switching back to a connected state with the service provider. In the case of SMS, I have also noticed that you may have signal but you have no SMS gateway. No idea where it goes or why it does that.
For whatever reason you loose the SMS gateway phone number settings and become unable to send text messages without a reboot. This is evident by visiting:
Phone
dial *#*#4636#*#* (if you happen to mis-dial this start over after clearing the display or it won't work)
Phone information
Under SMSC: press Refresh.
If no number displays (in my case +12063130004) then you have no route for the SMS messages to take. Entering that number and pressing update will fix it but just restart so it can pick it back up from the SIM/Carrier configutation.

I have this issue sometime in a supermarket here, if I'm in it shopping for a while I loose all signal and have to reboot, also happened with my MyTouch jut didn't have to reboot the phone, but if I'm in there for a quick purchase, it works OK
@wmm, I'm seeing exactly the same issue (zero bars + reboots) and found another guy on the cyanogenmod forum with that problem. Maybe you can add your last_kmsg to this thread, even though you're on stock. http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?/topic/1599-loss-of-signal-no-reacquisition-issue/

Yep, that certainly sounds identical to my experience. Next time I have the problem I'll force a crash by toggling airplane mode instead of trying to power off (it seemed from the thread that last_kmsg would not be saved if there is a normal reboot, and indeed I have no last_kmsg from the reboot that resulted from trying to power cycle after the last time I had the problem).
Thanks for the cross-reference.

That would be nice, but I haven't seen any activity on the issue on the Android developers' board. Speaking as a programmer, these intermittent, once-every-few-days kinds of problems are a real pain to debug, so I can't blame people for not wanting to tackle the issue...
I had this issue but fixed it by installing the Radio Rom and OS again from the last update. Has not done it again. Now its a power button issue lol.

My Omnia 7 keeps loosing it's 3G connection

My Omnia 7 keeps loosing it's 3G connection. To restore it I have to restart the phone. T-Mobile say that this happens from time to time, but it's happening every day now. It's annoying as it stops my push email from being up to date, and of course prevents the use of any internet based services until the phone is restarted.
Has anyone else noticed their phone has switching to GSM?
Had mine for 6 days.Been fine up until today, then I had the same problem.Only the once so far.
Confirm loosing 3G
Confirm loosing 3G connection, and also have phone call failures.
Factory reset did not solve the problem.
Bring it back to shop
Blackstone is back now!
At first this was occasional with my phone, then more frequent, and it's all the time. If I want to use the Internet I have to restart the phone. My house is covered by full HSPA, but the only way to get it is to take the battery out while the phone is switched on. I can sometimes get 3G by a simple restart, which I lasts about 40 minutes.
I like the phone, so I'm going to hold out for a software update. All it needs to do is check available networks and I think that, if this is a wide spread issue, Samsung/Microsoft will fix it. Hope so.
Please post here if you have this issue too.
I have also been having this issue... sometimes it doesnt come back straight away when i restart it but after about 10mins its back.
When I activated it with orange I was told to expect a few txt msg's that would need deleting and the phone restarting... I only got 1 msg, maybe this has something to do with it, maybe the phone hasnt been sent enough updates.
I also have this issue and have done for weeks. Orange couldn't solve it either.
It only happens overnight at home. I either need to reset the phone / rescan available networks or turn flight mode off and on again for the connection to restore.
I was thinking it may be an issue with t-mobile since it only happens at my home where orange signal is poor and i roam over to t-mobile.
If i stay in an area with good Orange signal i don't get the problem.
Good to know i'm not the only one with this problem. It's very annoying!
Hi y'all.
I had the same problem: 3G was lost every time. I was fed up restarting the phone every time, so I looked for another way to get 3G back. I found out that disabling and enabling SIM security (phone > setttings) got me 3G again... for a short while.
But: after disabling SIM security permanently, 3G kept on going (in fact for over a week now).
I think that changing the PIN to some other number, might cause this. I haven't yet tried changing it to the default PIN again, to see if using that for SIM security solves it. For the moment I'm too happy it works again.
I have suffered from poor reception issues ever since I got my Omnia 7.
It seems like the reception comes and goes. I will receive e-mails, which proves that the phone has been connected, but as soon as I try to use data myself, by visiting a web page or refreshing an app like facebook, the reception disappears and the "no reception" symbol drops down from the status bar.
Also, often when I try to send an SMS, it will appear to have been sent, yet 10 minutes later I will receive a "Can't send...try again" message. Once I have received this, the SMS will never successfully send. However, in the meantime I can receive SMS messages, which shows that the phone has been getting a signal.
This is SO frustrating and is ruining my experience with the phone.
I have posted requests on the Microsoft Answers forum and the only suggestions have been to reset the phone or turn WiFi off. Neither of these have had any effect. I have never enabled SIM lock.
I have heard that there is a firmware update due soon which includes a new radio stack. I am desperately hoping that this will improve the situation, as at the moment I cannot rely on my Omnia 7 as my only phone.
Alex.
Hi Loco,
You are right in saying that social answers doesn't really help much .
Luckily there IS a new firmware from a couple of days ago! Check out the Omnia 7 Dev section. There are only a few posts.
And here is also a good link for you. You are right to assume that it comes with a new radio stack which improves on performance.

Finally found a thread on this... I have been having a similar problem since I got my phone from Optus here in Australia. I took it back and they replaced it for me but the new phone is exactly the same. I don't lose the 3G icon but anything data related just ceases from loading. Right now I'm trying to refresh the Facebook app and it just comes up with 'Unable to connect', even though I have full 3G reception.
I flashed it to the newer leaked firmware and it hasn't changed anything, problem still persists unfortunately. This is a major problem that isn't getting enough attention! It seems quite widespread and Omnia 7 specific.
Had similar problems, but after I changed my provider ( O2-Germany), 3G is stable.
For the people having this problem, have you tried setting the phone to prefer 3g? Details of how to do this are here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=915813

Same here man. On Optus and my reception sucks with this device. What the hell is samsung doing? FIX IT!
I have been having this problem with my Omnia 7. The frustrating thing is this is a replacement phone I had for an LG which I had replaced THREE TIMES due to random resets. So now I have a phone that I have to turn off and on EVERY MORNING in order for the data connection to start working again. Needless to say I am very frustrated. I am on Orange in the UK. I suspect it could be related to when being an a poor reception area and it tries to switch to tmobile. I am going to try turning roaming off. Please, if anyone finds a solution to this let me know.
Thanks

My problem got worse with the Mango update. I'm now on my 2nd handset after having a replacement from Orange warranty. This one still loses it's connection but much less frequently.
TBH i don't think it will ever get fixed. I started an MS Answers thread months ago and lots of people had the same problem but we never got a response from MS.
Conisdering the age of the model now I doubt Samsung care, well they didn't seem to care a year ago so they won't now... For this reason I will not buy another Samsung phone. It's infuriating.
Looks like I am stuck with it until December then when I can upgrade to a Nokia lumia. A long wait :-(
i have this issue, too.. but for me i only have to set airplane mode on and off. sometimes i deactivate data connection, go to a random website, get the 'no connection' error, then activate data connection back and it works.
however, after installing the latest drivers & firmware, i get this issue A LOT less frequent. like once in 2-3 days.
i hope ms or samsung will fix this because it can get really annoying. especially when you need eg. a quick google-search..
Just flicking the flight mode wouldn't be so bad but that doesn't work for me, I have to restart the phone each time. I love WP7 but this and the other problems with the LG is driving me nuts. Almost wondering whether I should have just followed the crowd and gone for an iPhone.

Same as me - Flicking flight mode on-off doesn't solve it, needs a soft-reset.
Like I say, there are quite a few with Omnias on Orange with this problem.
I'm in the same boat, I've had this for months now so I guess I'll just deal with it until I can upgrade the start of April and get a Lumia (hopefully the EU 900/910 will be here by then!). There is no way on this earth Samsung are getting any more of my money. Nokia seem fully commited so they can take my cash next time!
I have the same problem with the data stopping working on o2 in the UK. But I also sometimes cant receive calls even though the phone has service, then there are the times where it site there going GPRS/3G/3G+/No Service and you cant do anything with it apart from pull the battery.

[Q] [Help] Has anyone met such auto-restart issue on Omnia7?

I met the auto restart issue by several times on my Omnia7.
It occures sometime on IE and marketplace data loading. When the IE / Marketplace is getting data from web through Wifi / 3G, it hangs for about 2-3 second and then the phone restart / reboot automatically. It's much easier to happen when loading a large size web page in IE.
Does anyone have met this kind of issue or know the reason?
Thanks.

Turn phone off and remove battery for 10s min. Then start the phone again. If problems continue and you have a Samsung or carrier support center near you, make them update the firmware to a new one and see if problem is solved.

Thanks for help. It doen't happen so frequently. I've done phone reset and also flashed it into another rom. But the issue is still there.
I've just update it into the new 7008 OS by Zune software yesterday. Hope it could be resolved.
It happened to me once. Just once. FYI, been using this phone for 2 months and it only happened once
Happens to me sometimes on HD7. Not on the Omnia 7 though
It seems not only IE and market place. I met it again yesterday that one app which uses Map control made it crash with Wifi connection. I think that might be because of some data receiving problem on Wifi part.
I've had this happen once since I had the phone in November last year. It was in marketplace, the phone froze and then rebooted itself. This was last week.
I have not installed the update. Like I say this is the first time it's ever happened.
It is most definitely firmware related.
I sent my phone to repair (SIM card reader broken), and they flashed an unbranded rom on it(that was an unexpected extra) and the JK1 firmware. Now I don't have random restarts anymore.
It happened to me twice Yesterday. My omnia runs the 7008 firmware.
I changed my SIM card and hope the problem will no longer appear.
Do you solve this problem in the meantime?
-edit-

Your comment makes me believe the problem is SIM-card related. I've heard of phones randomly rebooting by faulty SIM-cards. I know HTC's problem is mostly mainboard related. Sure do hope it's not a hardware failure. I'll try it for another week or so. If it happens again I'll send it for repair.
I have the same problem. I just have a new Omnia 7 from repair, and the new one already rebbot 3 times since yesterday!
Any idea why?
Is your omnia 7 warm? If it's warm, you must to change your CPU, your cpu is overheat.
Problem will go away. It costs about $75.
I suffer reboots
I suffer from the rebooting problem, sometimes randomly reboots when accessing data (3G also). Well, I believe this is when it happens as it happens a lot!
There have been occasions where the phone gets stuck rebooting and sits with the Samsung Omnia 7 splash screen for ages before powering down; or reboots in a loop.
I tried updating the bootloader with Samsungs tool (after putting the phone in download mode), I've since tried flashing different ROMs and non of them have fixed it.
Currently using:
Phone: I8700XXKB3
PDA:I8700XXKB2
CSC:I8700XENJK1
OS Version 7392
It's so frustrating, it's been to a Samsung 'repair centre' but they just seemed to factory reset it and claimed it was fixed. Next step is send it back to Samsung and hope they fix or replace it for me.
VERY annoying as I cannot use the phone at times when I'm out which is worrying.
I was listening to music, browsing facebook and doing several thing at once with case cover on; then i took off phone from cover and it was very hot, so i supposed it was a over heat problem...
it just happened once for me
I tested this with the SIM in my phone and the SIM out of my phone. It made no difference - I received random restarts in both cases.
It's definitely software related though, as I never received these crashes before upgrading to Mango RTM. Not saying it is Mango, but maybe something to do with the firmware installed in the process of upgrading?
I am really hoping that the official Samsung upgrade to Mango includes new firmware and that it fixes the issue. If not I'm getting rid of this phone, I don't want a phone with features I can't even use. I got a full phone crash the other day when just trying to view a map.
I have it also it only happens when I search websites with the Bing search button. I search websites that I already know that exist and even trough the phone is connected (most of time via Wifi) it shows no results and then restarts. I think any ROM replacement will fix it as I have tried them all without success.
Definetly the issue has something to do with Bing services
Hi I had some random reboots but just a few ones like maybe 3 or 4 in 6 months but since I installed Mango beta, it starts to reboot randomly like you on IE or marketplace but removing the battery a few minutes used to fix this.
I thought it was firmware problem so I flashed it with a lot of different firmwares ( now i have KC1 ) but It didn't solve the problem even worst, now my Omnia 7 is stuck in a boot loop.
I suceeded to make it work for a few hours playing games or using bing maps after puting the phone in the fridge for a few minutes. Now the phone wont charge because of bootlooping so even the "fridge fix" doesn't work. Maybe I will try to change the battery but here in france it's really hard to find Omnia 7 stuffs. Maybe its firmware problem because my phone dont look so hot but it acts like overheat problem. Maybe trying to calibrate the temperature sensor by diagnosis if someone knows how to. I'm ok to try it =)
If someone can give us the normal temperature of their omnia 7 maybe we can compare and try to find the solution.
Thanks for reading my bad english ! =D

[solved] All my apps (even system) crash randomly, Asus can't fix it

Hi,
At some times my ASUS ZenFone 3 (ZE520KL) phone is unusable but Asus's after-sales service does not find the problem and simply updates it when I send it to them.
I haven't figured out what's causing the problem. This can happen to me several times in the same day or not at all for a week.
All applications are crashing at the same time and I have a lot of messages saying "XXX keeps stopping" (I don't know what the English version of this message is). Sometimes the bug report creation (via the menu "shut down""restart") works until it ends but I can't send the report because the other applications crash. Other times the report crash before finishing.
It usually takes several restarts before I can reuse my phone. I have different problems during restarts: infinite loading, no keyboard to type the PIN code, application crashes as soon as the restart is complete.
Other points I noticed (but I'm not sure it has anything to do with it):
the phone restarts on its own, sometimes several times a day
when I do a factory reset, it takes several days before problems reappear.
the more I use the phone, the more likely it's gonna crash.
After some crashes, I loose my wallpaper
If you connect a headset with the screen turned off: it will not be detected by the phone even if I reconnect it with the screen turned on. Forced to restart.
The first crash occurred 3 weeks after my purchase.
My version is up to date. I tried with and without the Play Store or without deactivating any application. But I didn't see any difference.
How can I fix the problem? or how to provoke it (the after-sales service must see it)?
Thank you in advance for your help because even if I can't cause problems, they happen frequently and when they do I can no longer rely on my phone. I often can't take the risk of having a phone with which, when I need it, I might not be able to make a phone call, be awake in time,...

No, I wanted to wait until I was sure everything was working well before I lost the warranty. And apparently I was right...

I have same problem, but that time my phone was rooted and i sovled it by root too.
Ok so I'll try to return my phone one last time and if it doesn't work I'll try it in root (but I'm afraid it's a hardware problem).
If the phone is covered by warranty you may ask if you can get a replacement. They should have all your problem reports. I think that would be best instead of rooting it for now. You can root, but it's a gamble and the issue may be hardware, if you do root and issue persists, you lose warranty

You should ask for hardware problem to ASUS center because if you root your phone, ASUS will not responsible for your device any more.
Thank you for your answers.
I already told Asus that the updates didn't fix anything and I thought it was a hardware problem. But they did the same thing again: update, test, their tests pass so they send my phone back to me. That's why I'm trying to figure out how to cause the problem.
I will ask if I can get a replacement if they return my phone without correcting the problem once again.
Asus give me a new motherboard and new camera. Now my phone works perfectly
