Peculiar behaviour on Apex 2 - Blade General

Hello guys, I'm not sure whether it's a system issue or an app creating the problem but I can't seem to be able to locate the source. All I know is that its symptoms are the following: when the money watching a video on YouTube on landscape mode it forces portrait mode and pauses the video (or vice versa, I'm not 100% sure which is which, I'm holding the phone from the top and the bottom) same when I'm playing game in landscape mode, it forces portrait mode. Also when I was on kik with the keyboard on, it was behaving like it was restarting it momentarily, pulling it down and then up again.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing it?

Portrait -> Landscape Issue

I'm posting this for a friend who owns an Xperia. Whenever he tries to use the keyboard/landscape mode, the screen freezes and the device becomes unresponsive.
Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

Help: Phone goes into automatic landscape mode

Hi all,
My phone has been acting weird recently. Whenever i access the phone app, the screen goes into landscape mode without me tilting the phone. It doesn't seem like it is able to escape the landscape mode. This is also true for the sms app. Does anyone else have the same problem, and does anyone know how to fix this. Any help would be highly appreciated.
Alex
Have you tried recalibrating the G-Sensor?
If that doesn't work you can try violently shaking the phone or give a slight knock on the sides.
Worked for my wife's iPhone. Never had the problem again after that.

Edit: i just saw that you are right. When the note is in cardock, the screen freezes when getting a call...
Out of the cardock and still in landscape mode (via apex launcher), the screen automatically turns to vertical mode (which is prevented in the dock).
So its definatly a problem with ICS. It seems it doesnt have a landscape callscreen! Hope they already know and fix that bug!

[Q] Anyone using Daydream?

Hi
I've just enabled the Daydream function but even though it works in both portrait & lanscape when previewing the various options, when I've actually chosen one and plugged it into my charger, it will only function in portrait mode. Is this a bug on my phone or what?
Thx
**Bump** .....No-one else got this problem then??
After more searching on this, I see I'm not the only one with this problem, and it is in fact, a bit of a bug(ger)....
On my Nexus 7 it rotates in landscape mode too...but not on my S4
I have to start Daydream first and put it into landscape mode before plugging in my power connector...it then works OK.
It's been moaned about on various forums etc since last year....but it still hasn't been rectified!

? about landscape mode video recording..

Kind of a weird question, but why when I record video in landscape mode, I can't "watch it" in landscape mode? If I turn the phone sideways it goes to portrait, in order to watch it in landscape, I gotta turn the phone upright, and turn my head sideways. It's weird. Am I missing a setting or something?
Update. When I transfer the video to my PC, I get the exact same result as well. Anyone else have this issue or is it just me?
