Can anyone tell me where I can get official confirmation that the SM-910C is a European model and SHOULD be covered by Samsung UK warranty - they are playing silly buggers and are requesting confirmation!!

It is usual to have a European or even a worldwide warranty.
However, if you purchased the phone within the Uk from a Uk based supplier then your claim is with the retailer under SOGA.

Slovenia also has 910c and country is EU member

I've got a N910C XEO (Poland), just received it today :victory:. And there are stickers on it saying "European Model" and it's written "European Sim Card Only" on the box.

Do you have a link?
Sent from Samsung Galaxy S II
I've asked the same question to Samsung Denmark, and they answered that a tablet don't have worldwide warranty, unless you buy a blue Samsung warranty, but i don't know what that is.
The I/O Limited Edition comes with an American warranty which will not cover it for use outside of the US. The original Tab has an EU warranty.
From Samsung UK:
Samsung Electronics (UK) Ltd support a product purchased in Europe if it has an EU Bloc Warranty. This warranty is present where the top of the product warranty card clearly states ‘European Bloc’. If the product is purchased in another part of the globe then Samsung may attempt a repair. Samsung Electronics (UK) Ltd cannot guarantee the outcome.

So if it was bought in the USA, would it be covered in the EU?

[Q] Country of origin for GSII sold on Newegg.com

Anyone know the country of origin of the GSII that Newegg.com is selling?
It doesn't look like it's Europe because in the product picture tour it has what looks to be a US travel charger. Other vendors that sell the GSII show European chargers with a US converter added.
Central, South American maybe?
Bump? Talked to Newegg in an email and they replied made in Korea....sigh.....
Sigh? You rather want one made in china? Remember samsung is in korea.
No, i wanted to know where they imported this phone from not where it was actually manufactured.
Get it from Expansys, they should be shipping UK phones now that supply is keeping up with demand. Tell them you want a UK phone when you place the order and you should be fine. If it ends up being something else, they're easy to work with for exchanges too. They'll also ship the phone back to the UK for you should you ever need warranty work whereas the newegg.com phone is sold without a warranty.
I bought mine from overseaselectronics.com and it came with U.S. samsung OEM charger and last but least it's made in china...but the quality of the phone is top notch, I don't think it's a knock offs....Oh...this version of the phone when you first power on the phone it's in different language as a default.
I just got my SG2 from newegg yesterday. I can't tell where it's from. I guess I'll have to do some more reading to find out what the differences are.

Where to buy the SM910C?

Where can I purchase the the SM910C? I can't find any reputable seller. The "C" (Exynos) is suppose to be compatible with virtually every network (and US LTE Bands to some extent); similar to the "F" (Snapdragon)
Mine is is the N910C variant, i am based in Malaysia
The C variant is sold in South East Asia i think

C-version can purchase in Russia (after 23.10 ~850-900$, but i don't know seller from us).. U-version (the same except modem) - in Korea
Dubai
Well this is the model that is sold in Dubai, UAE. Just got mine yesterday.
which shop in dubai has the note 4
You can pre-order C, U and F in Poland (but stores aren't sure yet which version they will have and the price is higher than in other countries).
Can people give us some links please
The C Variant is all I'll really need now, haha. I wonder what the sales figure is now for the Note 4 in general.

@AndreiLux,
Hi, I live in Ecuador and the networks here are Claro and Movistar. I think the 910C is the version I need but not 100%. I am visiting the States in 2 weeks and want to bring back the new phone with me, so I need to get this purchased right away so it can be shipped on time. Do you know what the difference is between the 910C and 910U? If you develop for one, will it be compatible with the other? I will be happy to contribute to your fundraiser campaign to make sure it gets funded.
I am *only* interested in this phone with a custom rom, I don't want all the extra Samsung apps. I want pure Android. So it's very important to me to make sure I buy the right phone that is going to be modded by the community.
I'm having some trouble finding someone that will ship it to the States quickly enough for a reasonable price.
Thank you.

And how reliable is ordering in poland or russia? Does anybody have experience with that?

Depends on your VAT. Anyway one of those shops got good reviews from outside purchasers and they apparently speak English and German if you send them a mail.
I would avoid Russia if possible.

Keep in mind, that some models have a REGION-lock: you must first make a call in the region the phone is locked of a minimum of 5 minutes, before SIM-cards of other regions are accepted!

Thanks I contacted them. I also contacted the redcoon one, I used the dutch branch once and got positive experiences with it. If anyone wants to know I'll comment when they reply.
Can't you simply flash a ROM (as long as the modem is the same) from a different region (other than the EU) and unlock the region-lock?

Hello,
thank you for your ineterst in our offer. Unfortuately, we realize foreign shipping only on Europen Union territory, so we don't able to make order like this for you.

Ah I thought you were from the EU. Well then best guess is a importer which gets South American units or a Middle Eastern retailer like one of those UAE shops.

What kind of stiker "synnex.com.hk" on a phone box?

When I was buying the phone at the store, I noticed on the box green sticker with hieroglyph and site “synnex.com.hk”.
If I understood it correctly, Synnex is a distributor (USA, Canada, Japan). But I have some questions:
Is it typically for nexus 6p?
Where this phone was intended to? (because I buy it in Ukraine, version 1512)
Isn’t this sticker suspicious?
anybody?

Do you mean that it can be refurbished phone?
Did you actually go to the website? It appears to be an online retail shop rather than a wholesale distributor. If the phone works right in your region I wouldn't worry about what region the phone was intended for.

SM-G950FD owner, what country is your phone?

Hi, I'm just curious. For those that bought international version of S8/S8+, which country or service provider sw ver., do you have? Info can be found under about phone and software.
I got EGY. It came with SHAHID bloated app that cannot be uninstalled. Samsung Pay doesn't work.
Bought the international version from my carrier with no bloatware

Yes I did. Bought it at launch. For the same price as in the US, I got a fast wireless charger, OEM case, Bluetooth speaker, and cash voucher thrown in. Quite a good deal I must say.
I split my time between the US, Europe, and Bangkok. I don't get my phones in the US anymore (from AT&T) because they are locked, have less LTE bands and, most importantly, don't offer dual SIM versions!
SM-G950FD, Dual SIM.
Bought in Singapore, Carrier is StarHub.

That means it was imported from United Arab Emirates. I also think it means you don't have any warranty service in Romania from Samsung.

Well that kind of sucks... I have 2 years of warranty from the seller so no huge issue but still. At least I hope that the quality control for UEA is better then Eastern Europe. The phone looks to be good with no bloatware installed and I am planning to root and install custom ROMs so bye bye warranty anyway...
Thanks for the reply though.
